Katana

Letting out a sigh of relief, Lumian hugged him tight. "Kid, oh my god, you are back."

Eru awkwardly raised his hands in the hug. "ermm, uncle I am fine why are you hugging me so tight?" h mumbled.

"No, you are not. Looks like I have to teach you a few magic spells before schedule," Lumian mumbled. He picked up the book from the grass and wiped the fresh dew off of it. He sat down and gestured for the kid to do so as well.

Eru sat down next to him and glanced at him innocently. His uncle's hands were slightly trembling as he clenched onto pant legs. There were even some sweat stains on his black pants. 'Uncle looks nervous what could it be?'

"Eru, what I'm gonna say might be unbelievable but I think....I think there is another soul in you," he said with a serious look.

"Eh." Eru did a double take. 'Is he kidding?' he thought seriously, noting his uncle's gestures. All of his uncle's gestured indicated that was very serious. 'Wait, did he find out that I'm not Eru? How! Oh shit, there actually might be some spells to abolish my soul. What should I do!!!' he thought anxiously biting his lips. 'Either way, acting ignorant is the only way to survive.'

"I'm not sure what you are saying, uncle," he whispered innocently, tilting his head to the side.

Lumian peered at him for a long time. "I meant that you have an extra soul in your body. And it is very powerful,"

"Oh, but I don't feel it though," Eru said calmly, but inside he was sweating buckets. 'Darn he found out!'

Watching his innocent expression, Lumian sighed. "Forget about that. Let's get to training. Sit crossed leg," he hit his shin to position his leg into a cross-legged pose.

'thank god, he did not continue that topic or else...' he did not even want to imagine what might have happened. Eru let out a sigh of relief and complied.

"Now, I'm going to tech you a breathing technique. Follow along," Lumain said and slowly breathed out.

Eru followed after. 'It's quite similar to my own calming technique,' he thought, but he did not voice it out loud. He slowly calmed down. His soul, which was shaking visible, was still. Small white foam like energy emerged out of his heart and enveloped him completely.

Lumian sensed his energy and nodded. Ever since young, he was able to sense abnormality in energies. He lived in a small village on the outskirts of Miriafa. Mining was the major occupation. From young, he was able to hone his senses by sensing the buried magic wood.

Lumian was deeply immersed in his nostalgic memory, when all of a sudden his senses were assaulted by a strong energy.

Eyes wide, he glanced at the little prince serenely breathing in and out. Even without any wind, his hair slowly fluttered up and around, creating an ethereal view. His mask slowly fluttered up and was untied by this strong winds created by his energy, but Eru was ignorant of this fact.

'It took twenty years for me to develop this technique, but this kid got it in just minutes' he thought with a sigh. But inside he was quite proud. "Eru, now I want you to imagine a weapon."

"What weapon?" Eru whispered with his eyes still closed.

"Any weapon you want. I want you to imagine it and slowly form your soul energy into that weapon,"

Eru frowned. "What weapon would suit me, uncle?" he whispered in doubt.

"double Katana," Lumian immediately said.

Eru blinked his eyes open. "Two swords! But I'm not even good with one!"

Lumian tapped his head softly. "Your arms are not strong enough to swing huge swords efficiently so a lightweight long Katana would suit your dominant hand. And as far as I've noticed, you are also good at deflecting attacks with your left hand, so create a shorter Katana for it,"

Eru tilted his head confusedly. "Im not sure if I can create that,"

"You can. Just follow along. Breathe in and hold it in for a while. Let the energy consolidate around you like a shield,"

Eru nodded. He closed his eyes and slowly breathed in. The white cottony film around him eventually turned opaque and viscous. "Master, it's become viscous," he exclaimed.

"Good, good, now concentrate on just one point and make all of your energy revolve around it,"

With his thought, Eru slowly concentrated it into a point. The viscous energy flowed around him like a dripping liquid and formed into a ball around the point of concentration. "Next, master," he said slightly sweating.

"The hard part is done. All you have to do now is to kneed it with your thoughts into a Katana," Lumian patted his shoulders.

'Easy for you to say,' Eru thought softly, panting. Concentrating his energy into a ball took a lot of effort, and letting the form stay together was even more difficult.

Eru concentrated all his energy to form the general shape of a sword, but the ball of energy started distorting into spines.

The liquidly energy was revolting and dripping off. "Master, it's distorting but not forming a sword. It's only dripping off," he sighed.
