2 The Black Stone Forest

After walking quite a distance Kuro Shin noticed the change of his surroundings. The atmosphere became cold and gloomy. Ancient trees scattered everywhere and prevented sunshine. only a few spots of sunlight could be seen. The soil was dark and cold. Big black stones can be seen almost everywhere too.

The Black Stone Forest! Kuro Shin suddenly recalled it in his memories.

The forest covered a large area, where the trees were too thick to let sunshine in and the ground is covered in black stones. Thus the black stone forest was dark and gloomy even in daytime.

Not many warriors nor merchant travel through this place for its reputation. it is said that this place became a home for demon beast in all levels and also many hunters,thieves,and other crazy men would do their evil business here. In this kind of place if your are not careful enough you'll end up being in the demons belly or brutally killed by someone evil.

Demon beast are creatures that has intellect and power its power are ranked from level one being lowest and twelve being highest. The higher the level the smarter and powerful the demom beasts are. Demon beast are hunted by high leveled hunters for its meat and other benefits. it is said that demon beast meat can improve a persons body and power by bounds.

Kuro Shin travelled the forest using a secret route that is only known for The Death Clansmen. He knew he was safely concealed from both demon beast and evil dudes.

After a while Kuro Shin stopped to observe. He smiled cuz he knew he was not far from the village. After walking for another hour Kuro Shin arrived in a place where it seemed to be old and deserted by people. Only a few shop and store were open and there are not many villagers to be seen. The atmosphere of the place was gloomy and cold.

The Black Stone Village! Kuro Shin finally arrived. He knew the village well cuz it was were the mining operations of the Death Clan are made but due to some reasons it was abandoned. The none of the people living here knew about this cuz the people currently living here are all outsiders looking for shelter.

Kuro Shin entered the village and looked for a while then he walked towards a shop called "Lustre" it was a famous shop here in black stone village it offers good food and drinks. Kuro Shin walked towards the managers desk and asked about his pouch.

The manager of this shop was called Zhinshao, he is a simple old man that was a merchant in the past. He now settles here in black stone village living simple with his business. Zhinshao told Kuro Shin that a somebody found his pouch and luckily surrender it to them. Zhinshao gave Kuro Shin his pouch.

Kuro Shin frowned and thought

"who might it be? i guess i am lucky there still people who have good heart in this era"

After thanking the manager he immediately walked outside and looked for a quite and isolated place. He pondered for a while then opened the pouch. He took out the black death ring and a small piece of paper that looks old.

The Black death ring was created and given by the head of the Death Clan exclusively for Kuro Shin as a reward for his deeds. The ring was famed to have the power to help the owner unlock his hidden potential and protect it from dangerous situations. He was very lucky to have this in his possession and it was a good thing other people never knew of this.

Kuro Shin pressed the ring in his ring finger and made a connection with it using his energy and soul conscious. The ring reacted and tightened securely in his finger. He instantly felt the connection and power surging in his veins. He was happy cuz of this.

After that Kuro Shin took out the small piece of ancient paper and read its contents.

The small piece of paper contained unique symbols and letters. It was meant only for Death Clansmen to read no one can read or decipher it. After a while Kuro Shin placed back the paper and stood.

He smiled evilly and somewhat seemed to be excited and nervous. he said "so it was a map leading to somewhere only our clansmen knew".

left the village and heads to the location of the map .
