1 Prologue

"AAAHH!!" Jessica fall from the sky until her back hit the ground. "Fuck.... It hurts."

Jessica found herself in front of a weird looking gate. She look around and her eye saw the weird view of the location where she were. The sky is blood red with a black cloud, and almost everything on her sight is colored red and black.

"What is this place?"

Jessica stood on her feet, ruffled her red long hair. She look at herself and say, "I still wear the same clothes," with a flat tone. "What happened to me?"

Jessica decide to find out. She open the gate and walks in. On her way what she could only see is a funeral, abandoned building, and more creepy thing.

"It feel's like Halloween" she thought.

Jessica suddenly stop on her track because of a shadow in front of her, inside the mist, at this point Jessica raised a brow, questioning. She yelled, "Hello!" But no answer. This make Jessica more curious. She grab a small rock and throw it at the shadow. The rock burned into nothing before it hit the shadow.

Two pair of yellow eye glared at her before the shadow disappear. "What-?" The only thing Jessica remember is she fall on her butt by a tall figure who suddenly appear on her nose. She's surprised and scared

.... "Well hello there!" The shadow revealed, a tall 'man' wearing a black hoodie suit.

"W-What the...," Jessica stutter.

"Pardon me, dear! I didn't mean to scare you! Haha!" He offered a hand to help her to get up.

Jessica's feet trembling still surprised. "Who are you?" She ask the man.

"My name is Leton! The Hell Gatekeeper. Nice to meet you!"

"Hold up! 'Hell'? Did you just said 'hell'?"

Leton took off his hoodie, once his face revealed Jessica fill with shock from head to toe. She just saw a walking....skeleton.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Jessica once again fall to the ground. "W-W-W-What are you?!"

Leton smiled widely, get on one knee and put his right skeletal hand on Jessica's cheek and say, "I'm a skeleton! What else?"

"Skeleton?" Jessica sweating.

"Of course! Where did you think i got the name 'Leton' from? Silly!" He said with a cheerful tone.

Leton help Jessica getting up again, she say, "Wait.... I'm still confused. Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?"

"Well.... It is real life but i think It's not called 'life' since you already dead," said Leton while pinched his cheek acted like thinking.

Jessica's eyes widened and once again shocked. "WHAT?! I'M DEAD?!"

"Yup. That is why you here."

She fall on her knee. Jessica dig her nail into the ground, her heart beating so fast. She never feel so shocked before.

"I'm....dead? How? W-Why?!" Jessica found herself crying.

Leton get on her level and patting the poor girl's shoulder trying to comfort her. "Don't be sad. Hell is not so bad!"

She look at him with a 'are you serious?' face. "It's....HELL! Fucking. HELL!!" She grab Leton by his suit collar.

Leton try to calm her down and try to explain how she can be here. Slowly Jessica calming down, listening to Leton.

"I....died in a bike accident?"

"Yes. You move so fast until you didn't see a big ass truck in front of you, you hit it and....uhhh i think you don't want to know what happened next."

Jessica sobbing, stand up and say, "God....what should i do now? Am i going to be torture because of my sin?" Then Leton burst into laughter. "What so funny?"

"No! Silly! You will not be torture! You just have to live your life! Here in hell!"

"Well....haha. How? Is there some kind of city or something here?" Jessica was meant to joking until Leton clear the smoke reveal a very very big city ahead. That make Jessica's smile fade. "Holy shit."

"That, my dear. Is Death City! The biggest city in hell!" Leton put his hand around Jessica's shoulder and pointing his long scythe to the city.

Jessica narrow her eye at Leton's big scythe that she just realize. "What was that scythe for?"

"Oh? This is my weapon and also a trademark!"

"Wait....you are the Grim Reaper?"

"Yes!"

"But i think Grim Reaper should be taking soul, not guarding a gate."

Leton show a nervous smile. "Well...actually that is my father's job."

"Oooh you are Grim Reaper's son?"

Leton nodded. "Now Jessica, please give me your hand."

Jessica give her right hand. Leton squeze her hand as Jessica winced in pain. Once Leton finished his 'ritual' there is a logo on Jessica's hand.

"What did you just do?"

"Giving you an identity card! Jessica Lock....welcome to Death City!"

With that Leton guiding Jessica around the Death City and explain to her everything in the city. She learn that hell is ruled by Great Satan, and she also learned that the society is kinda....messed up.
