53 The Perfect Wedding

Silas's POV:

I bounced around as I slipped the tux back on and then did my tie. I was almost ready.... I glanced around and then grabbed the bottle of blood Rei had sent to me for my breakfast. I sipped it down and then grabbed my keys. I decided for this time... I'd ride alone. I made Laurence my best man to punish Sylar for kidnapping me last night... and I figured that Sylar would either show up or stay home. I wasn't going to force him to go. I started for the garage and hummed happily as I tried to keep my excitement down. I was suddenly pinned against the wall as Sylar appeared in my vision with an angry look. "Don't do it," he begged. I frowned and looked at him.

"Sylar, I'm doing this," I told him softly and then ran my fingers through his hair. "I want this. I want you to be happy too. Please don't make this hard for me either. I don't want to hurt you, but I will go through with marrying Rei."

"You're hurting me doing it," he told me and gave me a pleading look. "It's not too late to tell him no." I frowned and then slipped away from him.

"No, I'm going to marry him," I told him firmly. "I am not going to tell him no. I want to be with my mate. If you stopped and paid Colsin more attention, you'd realize that you want to be with him too."

"That's only cause he's my mate," Sylar sniffled. "I have to love him."

"You liked him before he was your mate," I reminded him softly. "Remember when he helped you to the witch's place... and how he protected you from the sun and collapse? Remember how happy you were to see him when you went to thank him? You could be happy, but you're not letting yourself anymore because you're scared that now that I'm gone... you can't be. I know that I'm all you know and that Colsin will eventually die... but you've got to open up to him and let him show you why fate gave him to you. Let Colsin in and let him love you," I told him. "He will make you happier than I ever could. When you love him, I'll ask Aurelio for some way to make him immortal so you don't have to lose him."

"You don't love me?" Sylar asked softly. I watched him then rubbed the back of my neck.

"I love you as my brother," I told him, trying to keep my voice firm. I felt my crystal pulse in pain a little at it, knowing it would hurt him and that I had loved him like a lover... but I knew my crystal wanted Rei as my lover. I could feel it. It's more of regret that I can't help Sylar any more than I can right now- that I can't comfort him the way he wants me to comfort him because I want to be with Rei.

"You said.... that you loved me more though," he whispered. I turned away from him quickly.

"I... I did," I mumbled. "I want to be with Rei though. I love him too, and I want to be happy with him. I want you to be happy with Colsin too." I heard him whimper lightly.

"But Silas," he whispered.

"Go to your mate," I told him firmly and looked at him over my shoulder. "Please, for me, try to love him. Try to give him what he deserves. You're hurting him by doing this."

"You're hurting me though," he mumbled.

"I don't want to, but I know that you'll be happier later on if I do this," I told him and then started to walk away. "Give Colsin a chance," I told him again. "Do it for him and for me."

"That's not fair," he whined. "Fate is so cruel to separate us." I sighed softly and looked at him.

"Yes, fate can be cruel, but fate works in mysterious ways. Just trust me when I tell you to put your faith and love in Colsin. You'll ask me to make him immortal somehow when you realize how important he is to you, but first, you need to let him near you so he can comfort you," I told him and then walked off. I heard him punch the wall then in anger. I clenched my jaw, doing my best to ignore his pain. If I turned around and rushed back to him... neither of us would be as happy as we could be with our mates. I walked to the garage and then got in my car, turning on the radio before I drove out of the manor quickly, singing along to my favorite song: Highway to Hell.

I pulled up at the beach and got out slowly, looking at the pretty stars in the sky then at the ocean reflecting them as they seemed to reach out endlessly and become one with the sky as the waves gently crashed on the shore. I smiled happily as I watched and then shut the door, walking past where the wedding was being set up again and then up to the edge of the water, watching with a soft smile as I examined the endlessness... the eternity they created together. It's beautiful and peaceful... promising. I felt an arm wrap around my shoulders.

"So, my little brother is getting married..." I heard Lyle purr. "I bet he never thought this would happen."

"No," I mumbled and leaned my head against him. "I didn't think I would ever find love like this.... I thought I was going to be alone in the end... and now I'm the first one of us to be married. Not even Everest is married to Neal yet."

"You know...." Lyle whispered. "You deserve this happiness." I looked up at him then and smiled.

"Think so?" I asked softly. "I hope I don't mess it up somehow."

"I don't see how. You're mated to Japan and you are a big otaku~" He rubbed my shoulder. "Come on it's almost time, everyone is sitting down." I nodded then took his hand.

"Mkay," I purred then laughed. I'll be a female soon too.... I gave his hand a squeeze and let him start to lead me back. "Rei will be happy to see I made it this time."

"Oh yeah, Laurence told me that Dmitri and Toma had a fun morning and last night. Poor souls were being pestered by that dragon. So we should be on alert tonight..." He pulled me with him back to the wedding being set up. I nodded and leaned my head against his shoulder, glancing around to try to catch a glimpse of my soon-to-be husband. I found him holding a little script for the priest while talking to him and watching him fixing something on his sleeve. I blushed and then patted my pocket, making sure I remembered my vows and then relaxed when I found them there. I looked at Lyle and purred.

"Are you ready for the honor of giving me to my mate?"

"You bet," he gave me a cute smile. "Guess whose the ring holder~"

"Who?" I asked. Milo? Toma? Toru?

"Nora, your little niece." Lyle whispered. I smiled then.

"Awww, that little ball of fur?" I purred and looked around for her and her brother, seeing Everest leaning over to wipe at something on their faces.

"Chance was going to do it with her until we all decided he couldn't handle it and might eat them." Lyle chuckled. "So we gave the full job to Nora." I nodded.

"Yeah... he might eat them," I mumbled and then looked for Laurence. "Laurence is here right? I made him my best man when I woke up."

"He's here. He's-" Lyle looked towards where Laurence was peaking into Dmitri's pockets. Dmitri yelped suddenly as a little red dragon poked it's head out and snapped at Laurence's hands, his eyes going wide. Laurence yanked him out and tossed him at Charles who caught him and gave him a needle with some kind of liquid in it. The dragon squirmed and shifted to a larger form, trying to get away. I frowned as I watched the dragon's fight weakening by the second and it passed out in Charles's arms. Laurence picked up a cage as Charles shrunk the dragon and they placed him inside it, locking it up. Toma crawled back into Dmitri's lap who started to rub his head and purred at him. I sighed softly.

"I'll have Laurence take Mushu far away... possibly to the Artic or something," I muttered. "We can ask Everest to take them." Lyle nodded. Charles ran off with the cage, putting it in one of the cars before coming back and sat down next to Pierre. Laurence ran up to Mauri and Rei's side with the priest.

"We need to take him to the dragon realm instead," Lyle suggested. "I'll ask Aurelio for the favor."

"His owner is going to be pissed," I purred in amusement. "Good. We'll do that," I told him then gave his hand a squeeze. Lyle pulled me up to the alter, taking this wedding casual. I followed him and smiled at him. "Thanks for doing this for me Lyle," I told him and kissed his cheek.

"It's an honor," he whispered before letting my hand go when we reached Rei. "Take good care of my brother," he purred to Rei. He detached himself from me and went to go sit with Milo. I smiled at him then got in front of Rei with a purr. I made it this time....

"Good thing you made it," he teased me. He looked towards the priest- who smelled like a vampire- and gave him a look to start.

"Dearly beloved..." He began. "We are gathered here today~" He gave us a huge smile as the wedding began. The priest began his speech as he looked us over in admiration, we went through our vows and our I do until Nora ran up to give us our rings at which our birthstones were on them as well as our names, Rosario and Suoh. Two kingdoms joined together. Our wedding went nicely and when our kiss was parted we had rice and flowers thrown at us. The wedding went perfectly. There was nothing more I could have asked for with it. Rei kissed my cheek as he wrapped me in his arms and looked at everyone. I laughed happily and then looked towards my family and purred happily. I smiled and then leaned my head against his chest before I looked up at him and gave a playful smirk, stealing another kiss in front of everyone. Rei leaned into my ear and purred.

"I decided we'd wait for children," he told me. "We'll spend our honeymoon together as men." I blushed and looked at him.

"O-okay," I whispered and wrapped my arms around him. He went and changed it behind my back.... Oh well. I gave him a small smile. "That'll be fine. If you want to wait, we will."

"I just think we should plan it," he whispered. "Decide on everything first. Where we'll keep our main kingdom.... here or in your land...." I nodded and then pulled him closer.

"Alright," I murmured and then kissed his neck teasingly. "We can think all that over and get it all decided before we have our first kid." He nodded and smiled.

"So let's say our goodbyes," he whispered. I nodded and then started to pull him down towards my family, walking up to my brothers first. I glanced around, checking to see if Sylar had come or not and frowned when I didn't see him. Well... that's... okay.... I pouted a little but put on a smile, looking at Lyle first.

"We've decided to wait a bit," I told him. "Rei wants to get everything organized before he wants children." I purred and smiled at him then laughed as Everest tackled me into a hug.

"Awww~ Look at you! You're married," she purred happily. Esther giggled as she walked up and hugged me too.

"Well that's probably a good thing," Lyle told me. "We don't want you stressed during the pregnancy." He gave us both a smile. Rei gave my hand a squeeze as he started to pull me down the beach.

"Come this way~" The rest started to follow us as we walked up to a dock where a yacht was waiting. "Welcome to our one week honeymoon. It's stocked and has it's own servants for us for a week." He told me. I widened my eyes then blushed.

"On the sea?" I whispered, looking out at the beautiful eternity where the sky and the sea became one. I blushed and then tightened my grip on Rei. Rei nodded.

"Way out there for a week," he told me. "It's all ours." I blushed and looked up at him before I nodded and got close to him.

"It's perfect," I told him and smiled. I'll get to see the stars every night for the next week and see that pretty water.

"Well go on you two, we'll be here when you get back," Laurence told us. "Go enjoy yourselves." I heard the others agree with him. I laughed and nodded at them, purring happily before I waved at them.

"Take really good care of yourselves," I purred at them and then tackled Rei into a hug, making him stumble back onto the yacht. He laughed as four servants greeted us with smiles.

"The captain said we'll be leaving as soon as you give the orders," the only girl servant told us. I looked at them and nodded.

"We're ready," I told her then looked at Rei. I smirked and kissed his neck before I started to pull him towards the doors to go explore with him. "Let's see~" He laughed and followed after me. I heard the servants talking into headpieces to get the yacht to start.

"I love you," Rei purred in my ear. I felt my crystal pulse quickly in response, sending him a loving pulse. I whirled around on him and purred.

"I love you too~" I tackled him and jumped up, wrapping my legs around his waist as I wrapped my arms around his neck and started to kiss it lovingly. My mate~ My husband~ My love~
