102 Silas & The Resistance

Silas's POV:

I walked up to a nightclub with Dmitri at my side, instantly recognizing it as one of the older hideouts of the Resistance. Vampires would come here to meet other Resistance members in the shadows, but the knowledge was very limited. We couldn't risk the council hearing about it. I frowned a bit and looked towards Dmitri. "Are they really still here?" I asked him and tilted my head. I was sure they would've picked somewhere new... not a place where I knew they would be. He smirked at me.

"Silas, if you're wanting to hide, where do you hide?" He asked me and tugged on my elbow, taking me into the bar.

"In plain sight?" I asked him.

"Bingo, you did it for years right under Lyle's nose, and the Resistance has been doing it to you since the day you were crowned king and you changed allegiances. Trust me, I was in here awhile ago. They still come here, and if you're seen hanging out with me- especially after the coronation fiasco, they'll come talk to you," he purred and pulled me up to the bar on the far wall. I glanced around curiously and saw it was mostly the same. The furniture had changed slightly to favor more modern tastes, but other than that, it was the same old club I loved. I purred and glanced towards a booth where I would sit sometimes and look the humans over, picking out the perfect one from the crowd to make my prey. I fed well during those days.... "Two Mai Tais," Dmitri purred out to the bartender. "A couple rounds of shots too." He sat us down right in front of him, and I tore my attention away from the bar, looking towards the bartender then tensed in shock- that's Travis, a bar resistance leader. He's still around?! Didn't he sell out Charles? I frowned at him then growled his way a bit. Traitor... and he's still here! How come I get a bad rep for anything I do, but when someone like him does it, he gets away scot free for selling out his comrades?! Bastard!

"I don't want a Mai Tai. I want a bloody bartender," I hissed his way.

"Sorry but those aren't for sell," he told me and chuckled. "I know I'm sexy, but you don't have to go making it so obvious. What's your name stranger?" Travis asked and started up on the Mai Tais. "I'll make you something special if you behave-" He was cut off as he looked past me and let out a whistle. His eyes darted to my side and a chair was scooted before a pink bag was slung down on the top of the bar. "Hot damn.... What can I get you?" He side stepped us completely for the girl. "Rough night? I'll mix you up-"

"Can I get a long island ice tea?" I heard a silky smooth voice ask.

"Only for your name," Travis said and shot a huge smile.

"Lavender," the girl sighed out. "Don't wear it out-"

"Mhhhh.... anything you want is on the house." He handed over Dmitri's Mai Tais and started quick to make the long island ice tea. A cross of Lavender's legs distracted me as she accidentally brushed up against me in the process. Lavender, had her hair dyed a mixture of two colors- yellow and orange. It was cut mid lengthened down her back and layered. A natural curl lingered. Her eyes were a monochromatic purple. Lavender was dressed in a lazy outfit, loose Ouija board designed leggings along with a matching sweat shirt. She even had on some black vans to match. She wasn't trying hard tonight. No make up. She pulled off a hair bow from around her wrist and pulled her hair up into a sloppy bun before glancing my way and winked.

"What's your poison?" She asked curiously. Her eyes left mine before traveling past me and looking at Dmitri. Lavender's scent gave away she was human. A rare treat. I smirked at her a little before I picked up my drink and took a sip.

"Not much in particular but right now it's a Mai Tai," I told her. Dmitri glanced over at us then raised an eyebrow at me.

"Silas," he purred then glanced behind us. "After this, we should go explore who all is out there." I glanced behind me then at Dmitri.

"I am exploring Dmitri. If you want to meet new people, go right ahead. We're leaving here together anyways, so it's not like we will be separated long." He chuckled before he took another sip of his drink.

"I'm not leaving you alone for a second," he purred at me, giving me a playful look. "Someone might snatch you up while I'm not looking."

"There you go," Travis said and sat her drink down in front of Lavender. He turned to me then. "Silas Rosario? I heard a rumor..." He smirked. "That someone is wanting to chat with you... if you're interested." He winked. "The right kind of connections."

"I heard you lost your crown," Lavender chuckled out. "By that cruel council. With the right connections, you can get it back but with a better army behind you and a new... set of laws established." She looked me over curiously. "You know... I heard you used to be the old resistance leader... You were pretty good at what you done.... I heard you were fearsome." Travis raised an eyebrow towards Lavender.

"Now there is a woman that knows a little more than you would expect out of her species." He set up three shot glasses then and poured vodka into them before dividing them between the three of us. "Bottoms up, it's on the house." He turned towards me then with interest in his eyes. "How's your diet? Is the bottled blood enough to satisfy your thirst?" I frowned slightly as I downed the vodka. Bottled blood....

"N-no," I admitted. Bottled blood is awful. It really took a bit for me to switch completely like I did.... "It's awful," I told him truthfully. I still drink it though because we shouldn't enslave humans... or kill them like I used to do, but I do miss the taste of fresh human blood straight from their bodies. The closest I have to it is Rei. "And yes, I was the old vampire resistance leader," I whispered to Lavender.

"Really?" Lavender asked in interest. "You're looking at one of the new ones." I frowned and looked towards her.

"You're human though," I said then looked her over. Well... one of my newborns had been human and ran an entire outpost himself.... I guess they allow some humans even that far up. She must be pretty bad ass then.

"Yeah and you're royalty. Shouldn't you be against the resistance?" She teased before taking a sip of her alcohol. "We need you back Silas." I purred at her then.

"You didn't know who I was two minutes ago," I teased back and took another sip of my drink with a smirk. Of course she would tell me that they want me back. She'd either be planning to slaughter me for treason against the resistance, or she'd use me to bring them to more power. Either way, just simply letting me leave isn't the best course of action for her.

"I know of your name though... and your name has a good reputation." She smiled. "Especially since... you must be pretty angry about the coronation." Oh yeah, she's heard about that, huh? I let a small growl slip from me and tensed.

"Of course I am. They had no fucking right to take my crown away from me!" I hissed at her then looked at my drink angrily, gripping it. "Fucking bastards... they should all just be murdered. They don't know what is best for vampires."

"Last time didn't work out though..." She trailed off. "We didn't have enough power of persuasion." She leaned in towards my ear then. "We need more fangs." I purred slightly at that. I forgot how sweet it can be to hear the resistance promises.... I looked towards her then.

"More fangs?" I purred then took a sip of my drink. "Well... I do have to get my revenge."

"I tell you what... I want to make sure you're on our team.... Take a girl out back and have a snack." She winked before downing the glass of long island ice tea. That sounds so nice.... I smirked at her then, starting to like her a bit more.

"Maybe I'll take five," I joked and got to my feet. I glanced the crowd over before my eyes landed on a girl dancing in the middle of the crowd. I purred as I looked her over, seeing her neck was practically exposed with the way her hair was pulled up. She's perfect for this. Dmitri laughed slightly and shoved me forward.

"Go on Mr. Hunter," he teased me. "You'll enjoy it." I was quickly gone, my hunger spiking up at the idea of sinking my pearly white fangs into her soft skin. I'd drain her... and she'd be my first kill in years! YEARS! I snuck onto the dance floor and glanced around before I smirked and made my way to her, gently grabbing her hip with one hand and her hand with my other as I slowly turned her towards me. She looked towards me with wide eyes then smirked as she looked me over.

"Hey cutie," she said cheerfully. "What's a stranger like you doing so close to me?" I purred and moved her closer to me.

"Just looking for a fun girl to take out on a nice date," I whispered to her. She raised an eyebrow and laughed.

"Oh, is that so? Well, you are hot.... What's your name?"

"Silas," I purred in her ear, making her giggle.

"Silas? I like it," she whispered back to me. "Tell you what, I am getting bored of this place. We could go check out a... more quiet place," she husked out then tapped my nose. I smirked at her.

"You sure you don't want a date?" I teased her.

"Don't make me change my mind~" She told me and started to drag me towards the doors with a giggle. I could smell the alcohol all over her.... I heard Lavender trailing after me through the crowd of people. I smirked slightly but didn't look back at her as I let this girl take me outside, and chuckled darkly as she pushed me up against the wall of a nearby alley once she had gotten me outside. She laughed a little then leaned in and went to kiss me, but I put a finger against her lips. Like hell I'd let her kiss me. I have a mate waiting on me.... I purred at her and smirked as I saw her confusion and leaned in towards her neck, kissing it. She moaned and tilted her head. "You didn't strike me as one to go straight for a girl's neck~" She told me and laughed. I smirked and held onto her hips, holding her to me before I exposed my fangs and scrapped them against her flesh, delighted as a shiver went through her. "S-Silas?" She asked, her voice trembling. I could smell her fear starting to surface as her heart began to race, making my fangs ache with hunger before I sunk my fangs into her flesh. She let out a pained scream, but I clamped a hand over her mouth to smother her cries, letting out a fierce growl. Lord... human blood is so delicious! Why did I give this up?! I heard Lavender stop walking up to us a few feet from me. I glanced her way before I growled and bit deeper into the human, my hunger spiking as my throat burned a bit in horrible thirst. I snarled and pinned her up against the wall, taking a chunk out of her neck and moaned as her blood rushed into my mouth. I ignored her screams as I curled my fingers around her jaw, forcing her to move her head up. I heard Lavender walk towards a nearby crate before sitting down on it to wait. I drained the girl quickly and pulled back, licking my lips hungrily as her body crumbled to the ground and I ran my hand up to my burning throat. Fuck... I didn't get enough. I groaned slightly and looked towards her drained body. I shouldn't still be hungry.... Maybe it's because of all those years I fed off humans then suddenly stopped for bottled blood? Is that what it does to you? Or am I going insane and this is just some sort of way fate is getting back at me?

"Maybe you should have grabbed five more as quickly as you took that one," I heard Lavender suggesting. I glanced her way then growled.

"If I ate five more, police would investigate," I hissed slightly. "I'll feed somewhere else." She eyed me over before laughing. She slowly stood up and started back for the bar.

"You should do something with that corpse." I glanced at the body before I shrugged and grabbed it, putting it in the nearby dumpster then went after her.

"So what the hell do you want anyways?" I asked her as I put my hands in my pockets and looked her over.

"What do I want? I got what I wanted. Consider yourself back in the resistance... You do want it, don't you? Dmitri might help you." I frowned and looked her over, considering my answer at least a little. After all, the whole reason for the fight at the coronation was to trick them into letting me in so I could betray them all... but... I do actually miss it. I forgot how much fun it could be to drain a real human.... I nodded slightly at her.

"Yes," I purred to her. "I want my revenge- this time for good."

"This will be fun. Come back here tomorrow with Dmitri at arms link. I'll send someone over with a thick file for you... You're getting your own resistance post." I smirked.

"I'll make it the best damn post there ever was," I purred at her then laughed. I ran the entire resistance. I can run an outpost. It's a start to what I need to accomplish, and if running an outpost wins their trust, then that's what I'll do....

"I might even give you this place... though Travis might be a little upset... He's been wanting the post to himself."

"He'd be better off with this place. He makes great drinks," I hummed out. "I can always work with Dmitri in his."

"I want to set you up someplace nice... In fact..." She stopped walking and looked at me. "I have just the right place for you now that I think about it. I want to give you a nearby blood house." I raised an eyebrow.

"Sounds interesting. My mate will have to stay with me though," I told her.

"You want to run it with your family?" She asked.

"I want to keep them close. My brother is out for my head, and I'm out for his," I purred as I looked her over. "I'm not letting my mate and children out of my sight for long."

"I better put you someplace low then.... I'll put you at a tavern across town."

"Mmm... you don't have to do that. I'll take the blood house. My children will be fine. I will get an apartment near it for them to stay," I told her and smirked. "I'm not too concerned. They're pretty old, and they can take care of each other long enough for me to focus on the blood house."

"Then consider it yours. The files I give you tomorrow with have it's location." She stepped back into the club then. I followed after her and was snatched by Dmitri who smirked at me.

"So... did you enjoy it?" He asked me and chuckled. "I bet she was delicious. Screw Lyle. You don't need him." I purred at him then looked him over before I leaned in towards his neck and growled at him.

"You better be careful Dmitri or I might bite you," I teased him lightly. At least the pain in my throat wasn't enough to make me attack him. Lavender giggled as she watched us before tsking.

"You two better bite outside," she warned before going towards the dance floor. I watched her go before I looked towards Dmitri and pulled him outside rather quickly.

"So I take it she let you in," he whispered to me once we were outside.

"Yeah, she did. We're coming back tomorrow. She's giving me a blood house to watch over," I told him calmly and walked towards his car then got into the passenger's seat. He got in and started her up.

"Are you wanting to go back to see Lyle?" He asked me and smirked.

"Yeah, I'll go back there and sleep in my old room for the day," I hummed out and then rubbed my throat then my jaw. He chuckled and started to drive us then.

~Time Skip~

"Oh Lyle~" I busted into his office with a confident smirk. "Guess what?" I found him upside down at the desk in the rolly chair, chewing on a pencil while staring up at the ceiling.

"What?" Lyle asked calmly as his eyes wandered to me.

"You're looking at the next leader of a blood house," I purred and shut the door, walking up to the desk. "I'm part of the resistance again."

"That's great," he purred. "A blood house? What's a blood house?"

"Probably one of those places where you have blood slaves and vampires go to feed off humans," I said and shrugged. "I'll have to take air fresheners and stick them everywhere." His nose wrinkled up in disgust before he took the pencil out of his mouth.

"That's disgusting to think about," he told me.

"Well, it's a start. I have to earn their trust somehow, and I'll earn it through running the best blood house," I told him and smirked, sitting down on the desk. "I met one of the leaders today- a human."

"A human is leading the resistance?" He asked before laughing. "No... she was probably just talking big... there's no way. I bet she's just working under the leader who has to be a vampire."

"It's not impossible. Look at my fledgling. He was a leader of his own outpost before he was turned," I told him and smirked. "Besides, she knew exactly what my name meant. She had heard of me."

"Charles was an unofficial out post leader of the resistance- who was raised by trolls and had a magical charm bracelet." I heard Lyle scoff. "You've been played."

"Have not," I told him and frowned. "I'll prove it later." He sighed before drawing in a breath and let out a cough.

"Is that blood I smell on you?" He asked and sat up quickly, knocking the chair completely over. I looked at him then frowned. I guess I would smell like blood, huh? Guess I better tell him.

"Yeah, I fed," I told him and rubbed my lips, looking to see if my fingers had dried blood on them from my lips. He scrambled to his feet and turned to face me, eyeing me over. He gasped a little.

"I'm a bit jealous," he mumbled and walked up to me, rubbing my cheek. "What kind of skin tone is that?" He smacked it and chuckled. "You're pink like a human." I raised an eyebrow and looked at him before I gently grabbed his hand and looked towards his wrist with a purr, leaning in and kissing it as my fangs ached slightly.

"I drained her.... Of course I would look healthier." He looked me over before yanking his hand back.

"You should go take a bath," he suggested. I frowned and looked at him before I grabbed his hand again and leaned in towards his wrist hungrily, a small growl escaping me. "Heyyy.... you just had a whole humans worth of blood. Back off of what little I have." He stomped down on my foot and yanked back. I exposed my fangs at him then and narrowed my eyes.

"Lyle," I growled and went for him. DAMN IT, I'M HUNGRY.

"You'll have too much!" He warned me and stumbled backwards, falling onto his desk. I heard a few papers fall off. I purred as I walked up and grabbed him, holding him down before I leaned in towards his neck.

"No I won't," I whispered to him and scrapped my fangs against his neck. "I'm hungry~"

"No you're not! You can't be! You've had more than I've had in a whole week and I'm full." He pushed up on my chest. "Silas, don't bite me." I smirked and bit down into his neck with a purr, pressing my weight down against him to keep him from escaping. He groaned out in pain and snatched his hand out from between our bodies. "Silas! Are you crazy?" I nestled my fangs in deeper into his skin and moaned slightly as I drank his blood, enjoying every drop of it. The door opened after a few seconds and I heard a small gasp.

"L-Lyle?" I heard Milo ask worriedly.

"Milo!" Lyle gasped out. "Get this heavy weight off me!" Oh hell no. I growled and sat up on Lyle, glaring at Milo.

"Leave," I hissed at him, watching as his eyes widened.

"Don't go!" Lyle begged as he tried to sit up quickly. Milo frowned and looked towards Lyle then at me before he rushed in, shutting the door behind him. I snarled at him as he neared us and struggled as he yanked me off Lyle then got between us as he managed to pull me off him. I narrowed my eyes at him and hissed then went after Milo instead. He's always getting in the way! BESIDES! HE BIT ME AT THE CORONATION! Lyle was quick to throw himself at me, protecting Milo. "Silas! Control yourself. Your hunger is taking over, isn't it?" I paused to look at him then frowned.

"Lyle, he bit me at the coronation," I growled slightly.

"To protect Lyle," Milo defended and frowned at me. "I'll call a maid to get him a bottle of blood. Maybe he'll calm do-"

"I don't want it," I said stubbornly. "I'm not drinking that again. It's gross."

"Gross?" Lyle asked and laughed. "You sound like a fledgling. Go take a bath and calm down... maybe take a long nap. You know better than to act like this. It's... not our way." I frowned at him. Not our way?

"Lyle, we were born with fangs for a reason," I told him instinctively. Milo frowned slightly.

"I think the blood got to him," he whispered to Lyle.

"Silas... just because we were painted as monsters doesn't mean we should act like it." Lyle reached out and brushed my cheek. "We're better than that."

"Monster is such a subjective term," I purred at him. "To a human, anything could be a monster, but to us, monsters could be humans. It's all in the perspective." Lyle's eyes widened a little before he stepped back from me.

"I think you should go to your room," he told me firmly. I frowned at him.

"Why?" I asked him calmly then leaned against the desk.

"Because you need to sleep on what you just said to me. You're on my side, remember? We're brothers. Now go think about what you said." He looked away from me then. I frowned and looked at him then felt my crystal sink a bit at the sight of him refusing to look at me.

"I'm sorry," I whispered to him. "I think you're right. I had too much blood," I mumbled. I must've had too much. I wouldn't normally say something like that to begin with.... He looked at me and smiled softly.

"Apology accepted." He looked me over. "Can I bite you?" Bite me? I looked him over and then bit my bottom lip. I did bite him....

"Yeah," I purred softly to him. "Go ahead." He looked me over before leaned in towards my neck and bit down into it, starting to drink my blood. I heard him give a soft moan. Milo pouted a little as he watched us then crossed his arms, looking away from the two of us. I laughed a little and wrapped my arms around Lyle. Jealous little Milo. Lyle took his fangs out slowly and started to suck on my wound.

"I think I'll go find Esther," Milo muttered and started for the door. I held back a small laugh as I watched Lyle's first fledgling running off. Lyle gave a groan as he heard Milo leaving but kept feasting on my blood. I sighed softly and looked towards him then ran my fingers through his hair. I waited a few moments before I tugged on his locks.

"That's enough," I told him calmly then kissed the side of his head. "You'll make me weak." He grunted before licking my neck and looked up at me.

"Your blood is so healthy.... like Milo's blood when he was a fledgling." I laughed then.

"What's that supposed to mean? You don't like Milo's blood anymore?" I teased him then leaned against the desk. "You make it sound like he doesn't taste as good anymore." Lyle frowned a little.

"Well..." He trailed off. "He's not a fledgling anymore and he drinks bottled blood... his is as good as mine. Could you taste the difference in mine?" I thought it over then slowly nodded. He did taste way different than the human I had....

"Yeah," I whispered. "You definitely didn't taste as healthy as the human I had...." I should feed Milo some fresh human blood to surprise Lyle.

"I bet you hardly noticed," Lyle teased. "You like blood no matter where it came from." He smirked. I purred in amusement at him.

"You have a point there," I teased him back then sat down on the top of his desk. "I'll have Milo get some fresh human blood soon. It's the least I can do for you. You'll like it."

"Not too fresh and it better be up to standards of the law," Lyle warned me.

"Don't worry. It'll be lawful," I purred to him. "It'll be really fresh though. He deserves it after all."

"You know.... I'm worried.... Please don't drink too much blood while playing the heart of the resistance." He patted my chest. "I don't want you getting bad ideas." I looked him over before I nodded slowly. I probably should... for him.

"I'll watch how much I drink," I whispered to him then leaned in and kissed his cheek. "Don't worry. I'm not going to lose it." He gave me a cute smile then.

"Good. I love you brother." He purred and kissed my forehead. "It's about to be dawn... and I'm a little tired." He let out a yawn. I smirked at him.

"Oh? Are you sure you aren't wanting to go find lover boy? He looked upset."

"He'll come to bed," Lyle said confidently. I smirked.

"Oh yeah? What if he didn't?" I teased him, messing with him. "Pissed lovers don't crawl into bed with each other."

"Maybe I should sleep with you then..." He trailed off.

"I'm sleeping with Rei," I told him and laughed. "Go find Milo. He's upset you didn't want his blood. I could see it written on his face."

"Okai," Lyle mumbled and started for the doors. "MILO! I WANT TO GO TO BED! COME TO BED!" Boy, he's lucky that Milo loves him. I shook my head and tsked. If someone ordered me around like that.... I'd leave them in a cold bed for a few days. I laughed and then looked the papers over on the desk before I got down from it and glanced around my old office. I wonder if I'll ever actually get this all back... after the resistance is taken care of.... Lyle might end up keeping it.... I sighed softly and put my hands in my pockets before I walked towards the doors and left the office. I should go find Rei and yank him to bed with me.... He's probably in there waiting~ I smiled at the thought of being with my mate and holding him then sped up, almost racing to my bedroom and went in, looking for him.

"Rei?"

"Ow, paper cut-" I heard him mumbling as he turned the page of a book. He brought his finger towards his lips then. He had laid out on the foot of the bed, reading something. I purred and started for him, shutting and locking my bedroom door behind me. I snuck up to the bed then purred as I stood by his head and looked down at him.

"Hey," I said sweetly and reached down, stealing his hand and leaned in, giving his paper cut a kiss. "You should know better than to let yourself get cut on a book," I teased lightly then licked it slowly to mess with him. He pushed the book off the bed and rolled over, pulling me on top of him.

"It wasn't on purpose," he purred. "So how was- You smell delicious...." He leaned in and kissed my throat. I blushed slightly as my crystal pulsed a bit and I looked down at him before I leaned in towards his lips and kissed him quickly, missing it. I bit my bottom lip, making it bleed so he would be interested in the kiss more than my throat. He moaned and licked at my lips. "So- how was it with Dmitri? Did you get in?"

"Yes," I purred to him quickly. "I'm going back tomorrow night for a file on my new blood house," I told him before I kissed his neck with a small moan. "I had a human today...."

"I know... I can smell it." He laughed. "You smell really good... and you look healthy... but you also just was with Lyle." He tsked. "What were you boys up to? Planning something?"

"I was telling him about today... and I bit him but he bit me too," I admitted and paused against his neck, waiting for his reply.

"You two shared blood?" He asked calmly and smiled. "That's why his scent is on you... So a blood house? We'll have to get an apartment near it for the kids. I don't want them getting mixed up in a place like that."

"I thought we should get an apartment for them too," I whispered to him softly then trailed my finger along his neck. "It would be best for them in this situation. I don't want to leave them with someone else either. I want to see them every night...."

"Mauri is great at babysitting if we need her," Rei thought softly. "Just in case." I nodded then looked towards his neck hungrily before I exposed my fangs and leaned in slightly, scrapping my fangs against him. I know I just told Lyle I would watch my intake of blood... but I really... really love Rei~ I could mark him again too. He loves that~ I chuckled a bit.

"You should wait until tomorrow night to feed from me," Rei suggested. I frowned and pulled back from his neck before I looked down into his eyes.

"Not even for a mark?" I asked him sweetly.

"You know you've had enough for the day. You had some when you woke up, when you were out, and when you arrived here." I frowned as I thought it over then nodded. I looked him over before I smirked a bit, wanting to try something. I leaned in and kissed him gently before I released some of my venom like I would when I wanted to mark him and let some of it slip into his mouth. I haven't ever tried this... and I haven't really heard about it from other vampires, but it might be really good too.... He pulled back from the kiss with a bitter look upon his face as he licked his mouth clean. I looked at him then unsharpened my face.

"Okay, I'm going to guess you didn't like that," I purred to him. "I guess it is only good in veins...." He rubbed his eyes then before reaching up to me.

"I'm a little.... tired...." He told me and yawned. I nodded and leaned in, giving him a sweet kiss.

"We can go to sleep now if you'd like," I whispered to him lovingly then got off him and started to gently pull him up to the top of the bed and got him under the covers. "You want to come with me tomorrow?"

"No... I promised the kids I would go horse back riding with them in France," he mumbled as he let out another yawn.

"Oh... well at least you're spending time with the kids," I whispered and got under the blankets before I snuggled up to him. "Is Hesper still there?"

"No. The dragon king took him back to his nest," Rei hissed out. I sighed then.

"We should ask Aurelio if there is some sort of anti dragon charm he can put on Hesper or something. Maybe we can get the dragon king to leave him if there is something Aurelio can do," I mumbled thoughtfully. I don't like my baby being stuck in some dragon king's nest.....

"I'll ask him when I wake up," Rei suggested as he was now dozing. I looked towards him and sighed lightly before I leaned in and kissed his cheek.

"Good morning Rei," I mumbled to him before I leaned over and turned off the bedside lamp then laid my head down on his chest over his crystal, listening to it beat against his chest....
