5 Lazy Day

Continuation of Lyle's POV:

I woke up this time before Milo, feeling him laying on top of me. He must've moved sometime during the day to be on my chest.... I smirked and moved him off of me, making sure not to wake him then got to my feet and headed to my bathroom. I took a bath this morning, deciding I could afford the private time away from my fledgling. The water felt nice, which was something I avoided to make sure I kept my eyes on Milo as much as possible. When I finished with my shower I changed into some more casual clothes since it would just me a calm night. I walked back out to Milo to check on him. He had curled up to my pillow, snuggling up to it rather cutely. It looked like he was still sleeping, but it wasn't deep sleeping. I walked over to the nightstand and grabbed the phone off of it, texting one of the maids to deliver two bottles of blood to my room. I reached down and rubbed his cheek, trying to wake him up gently. Milo let out a soft moan, tilting his head a little at my touch before he stirred a little, tugging the pillow closer to him. "Milo," I purred. His eyes fluttered open a little and he blinked before he looked towards my hand and purred, giving it a small kiss as his eyes travelled up my arm to me, meeting my eyes with his. "Do you want a shower?" I asked him playfully. "Or are you going to sleep through the night?" He glanced behind me towards the bathroom door then before he sat up and nodded.

"Yeah, I want a shower," he mumbled as he got to his feet and stumbled towards the bathroom, going inside it. I didn't hear him lock it this time like he normally did, probably forgetting or finally trusting I wouldn't walk in. I laid down on the bed where he had been with a small smile. A maid came in while he was in the shower, sitting two bottles down on the nightstand before leaving. Before Milo came out, the phone on the nightstand buzzed, bringing my attention towards it. I picked it up to see Sylar had messaged me.

Sylar: Everest, Esther, and I saw our guests off just now and we're heading to town. It's just going to be you, Silar, and your fledgling as well as servants. Take care. Love, Sy-R.

I placed the phone back down on the nightstand and looked up towards the ceiling. Maybe Silas will stay out of my way tonight. Knowing him, he'll probably sulk in his room, waiting for Sylar to come back. Sylar is the only one that takes interest still in Silas. Every since Silas accused me of not being heir to the throne our other siblings haven't wanted much to do with him. They're disgusted with his behavior. If he was smart and really wanted to prove I'm not truly related he should have kept quiet an found better evidence then his own word. Now he's nothing but a fool in other's eyes. Sylar is our youngest sibiling though and he still idolizes all of his siblings, including Silas. Even if Silas is pointing false fingers he still doesn't want this family completely broken, none of us do. Before our parents died Silas loved me, even when he knew I was adopted. It's crushed his soul finding out I was going to be crowned king. It's understanding in the way but I'm not going to let our family's dark secrets be exposed easily that I was adopted. The Rosario's family name will not be stained with that kind of embarrassment. The council can never know. Silas doesn't understand what kind of consequences that could bring upon our family if the council found out I was adopted. That our parents lied to everyone, claiming I was blood related. How this family would appear to know and be in on the guilt. If he keeps up his selfish act I fear I might have to send him away to the asylum.

Milo was out after thirty minutes and was dressed comfortably again, walking over to me with a small smile before he crawled into the bed and grabbed the bottles before he handed me one and opened one for himself, starting to drink it. I opened my bottle and downed it quickly, sitting it aside when I finished.

"So we're going to be the only ones here today besides Silas," I told him. He looked at me and nodded, sipping his before he finished it off and put it aside.

"Okay," he hummed out and then pulled my pillow to him, hugging it.

"So what do you want to do today? We can do anything you want." I purred to him. He blushed before he gave a slight nod.

"Uhhhmmm... I'm not... sure? I never really thought about it," he whispered to me. "I don't mind whatever we do today....."

"How about I teach you about biting and drinking blood from the flesh. After that we can go try dancing together since you didn't get to dance at the ball last night with the older vampires. When we finish with that we can do some common human things, like eat a few of your favorite foods and watch a few movies. Oh and I want to ask you something that was brought up last night. I need to know if you're the jealous type." I gave him a playful smile. He widened his eyes a little and held the pillow a little closer to him.

"The... jealous type?" He asked me and frowned. "Why does that matter?" He gave the pillow a soft squeeze and leaned his face into it.

"Just incase I need to know one day," I said softly. He looked up at me and then nodded.

"O-okay... Um... I'm not exactly sure.... I think that if I was to get jealous, it wouldn't be over something silly," he told me and smiled. "If you kicked me out of the bed, I'd be upset though if that's what you're wondering."

"I'm not kicking you out of the bed," I purred towards him and got out of bed. "Let's go to the ball room." He watched me and quickly got out of bed, dropping my pillow before he was by my side in seconds, grabbing my hand with a smile.

"Mkay," he said cutely, giving my hand a small squeeze before he began to pull me towards the door this time. I dragged him out of my bedroom and towards the ball room.

"Hopefully the ball room isn't a mess." He nodded in agreement with me and then looked around the hall as we walked, rubbing the back of his neck a little. When we reached the ball room, I pulled him inside and looked around, expecting it to be empty by now. Lucky for me, all there was in here was a few maids straightening up and dusting. They looked towards me with wide eyes then at Milo before they giggled and whispered something to each other.

"Ladies, will one of you put some music on?" I asked. "I'm teaching my fledgling how to dance." One nodded quickly and curtsied before she bounced over to our speakers, putting on my favorite waltz. Milo watched her then looked up at me with a small smile as he playfully pulled away from me before I could trap him in the dance. I growled playfully and pulled him back to me, beginning to guide him. "I've decided that until I get my first official dance from you, we're going to practice... even if it takes all week." He blushed and looked up at me.

"Official?" He asked softly, letting me lead him. He was doing a lot better today, but he still had a way to go to be perfect with his steps. His confidence needed some work too in his movements.

"Yeah, I want your first dance." I gave him a small smile. "You don't mind giving it to your maker right?" He shook his head no and gave me a sweet innocent look.

"No, I don't mind.... You can have my first dance if you want it," he told me sweetly. "You might have to fight Esther though."

"She said I could have it and that I should take it. You're getting better at your footing." He bit his bottom lip then nodded.

"It's easier with you," he whispered to me. "You lead better than Everest did." He smiled and then leaned his head against my shoulder, a small purr rising up in him.

"I'm older than Everest. You should try dancing with Sylar. He's the youngest of us and just grew away from being a wall flower." I laughed. He laughed a little and shook his head.

"I'm good.... I just want to get the steps down better," he mumbled to me and then pulled his head away from my shoulder, glancing down at our feet then up at me with a small smile. "This is kinda fun actually."

"There you go, enjoy dancing. You're going to be doing it for centuries." He nodded and then started to glance towards the maids curiously. I looked towards the maids to make sure they were working instead of watching us. One of them was glancing over every few seconds while she worked, but the others were doing their best to not pay us any attention as they cleaned. "Don't mind the maids," I purred to my fledgling. He blushed and then looked towards me, meeting my eyes for a split second before he shied away from it and looked towards our feet. "Look up," I told him and grabbed his chin, tilting his head up to meet my eyes. He blushed and nodded slightly.

"Yes sir," he whispered, watching me with an adoring look in his eyes.

"Make sure you never look down while dancing. Especially with girls." He nodded to me and gave me a sweet smile.

"Yes sir, I won't," he promised me. "I'll do my best to resist it."

"Just keep your eyes on mine," I suggested. "It's like a staring contest." He blushed and then nodded slightly.

"O-okay...." He trailed off as he watched me. "So when does it count as official?" He asked curiously.

"When you stop walking over my feet," I teased him. He pouted.

"But I'm really trying! I'm barely stepping on your feet today!" He told me and then looked away from me.

"You are improving," I nodded as I continued leading him. He sighed softly and started to get quiet as he moved his face into the crook of my neck, resting his head on me as he focused on the dance.

"We won't do this all night but we will keep doing this every night until you get it." I told him. "One more song and we will stop."

"Okay," he mumbled to me then I felt him move a little closer to my neck. I suddenly felt what seemed like he had given me a small kiss near where my jaw was, but I wasn't sure if he had actually done that or if it was my imagination. I guided him through one last song before stopping us.

"That'll be all," I told the maids and pulled Milo towards the exit. I took him towards the night room as promised for our human time. "We'll order the butlers to cook us whatever you want and you can pick out a movie to watch." I told him. When we got into the living room I grabbed a phone and pulled up a butler's number then gave him the phone. "Here you go, order up." He smiled towards me and sat down on a couch with the phone.

"Hey, could you bring two bowls of spaghetti to the night room please?" He asked sweetly. "With some sweet tea too. Thank you!" He laughed and hung up before he put the phone up then bounced over towards the shelves of movies, starting to look them over before he quickly grabbed Suicide Squad and bounced over to the TV and set it up for us before he sat down on the couch with the remote in his hands. I stole the remote from him quickly and set up the TV, turning on our speakers around the living room to make it more surround sound. When I pressed play I sat the remote down on the coffee table and wrapped an arm around his neck, pulling him closer to my body. He laughed and then got closer to me, leaning against me as he purred softly, watching the TV excitedly. I kissed the top of his head and rubbed his shoulder. He's so happy. I bet as an author he didn't have much time to do human things like watch movies. He glanced up at me and smiled sweetly before he kissed my cheek softly then looked back at the TV with interest, gently holding my hand that was over his shoulder as he watched the movie with me.

About halfway through the movie three butlers came in with our food, sitting it out on the coffee table for us with our drinks and two extra bottles of blood. "I hope you don't mind but I thought you also might want some blood afterwards," the butler explained. "Enjoy your meal." They bowed before leaving us in peace.

"That was thoughtful of him," I purred and grabbed my bowl of spaghetti and started to eat, moaning at the combination of garlic they threw in for us. Most vampires actually liked garlic. That was just a myth we created when humans were killing monsters back in the day. It was our only way to hide and survive. Creating myths so that humans would be less suspicious of us. Too bad the sun was a huge problem for vampires. He smiled and picked up his bowl, starting to eat it happily as he scooped up the noodles and practically melted against me as he ate it. It didn't take him long to finish it off and he started to sip on his tea, eyes glued to the movie as he sunk into the couch. I finished my bowl and sat it down then grabbed the glass of tea and started to drink it. He was really happy to eat spaghetti. Maybe I should get him more human food to eat. He let a small moan slip as he took another sip of the tea, closing his eyes in happiness.

"Looks like I'll have to get you food every night," I purred. He tensed up and looked over at me before he sat up a little more.

"That would be nice," he told me then smiled as he took another sip then sat his glass down on the table.

"Don't forget to drink your blood. Eating regular food makes you thirst more," I told him. "Especially when you're a fledgling." He frowned but nodded.

"Okay.... Hey, this won't hurt me right? If I was to eat human food once a night? You said to make sure not to drink too much blood," he whispered to me. "It wouldn't make me go demonic, right?"

"No, if you ate too much of the human food you would just puke it up." I smirked. He shrunk down in his seat then, looking towards the bowl and tea.

"Uh-uhmm... I don't want to puke," he whispered, looking nervous. "I'm not going to get sick from only eating that much, right?"

"If you were going to would I have let you eat it?" I asked him. He looked at me and then shook his head no after a few moments and relaxed.

"No, I don't think you would," he whispered to me. "You wouldn't let me get sick...."

"Of course not, you're my fledgling. You'll be fine just eating that." I promised. He nodded and then purred to me, crawling into my lap before he rested his head against my chest and looked towards the TV as he wrapped his arms around me and snuggled up to me. I rubbed his head and laid us down on the couch. "Better?" He nodded and smiled.

"Yeah," he mumbled and then looked towards me. "Much better," he purred.

"Did you watch movies often as a human?" I asked curiously. He frowned.

"Umm... well... no, not really. I watched one maybe every couple of days," he told me. "I mostly was writing my books, reading others books, going to book signings, book conferences, premiers, my editor's annual party, visiting my sister, getting coffee and tea at coffee shops, or making my way through alleys in search of vampires to meet." He smiled sweetly at me when he said that last one. "My average day was getting up, eating breakfast, writing, eating lunch and having tea, writing and answering letters and making phone calls, and then eating dinner before I would write until it was dark then go look around town before I would come home and go to sleep."

"Your human life was busy, like my job as king. You poor exhuman. It's a good thing you found me." I purred. He smiled.

"I'm glad I met you, but I actually liked writing. It was fun," he told me softly. "Though I think I'd rather be by your side rather than imagining you up and writing about a character like you and wishing you were real."

"That reminds me, I need to ask Esther about your clothes and journal with pens. They should be here by now." I purred to him. "We'll ask tomorrow night. They're out in town right now." He laughed.

"I already got my journal though," he purred to me. "I've been writing in it. Clothes would be nice though. I don't think you're going to be happy with me constantly stealing your shirts."

"You already got it?" I asked and frowned. I must've forgotten Ether mentioning it to me. "She's probably getting your clothes as we speak." I muttered.

"Everest got it for me, remember?" Milo asked, frowning. "I've been recording everything like you told me to." He sighed and then laid his head back down on my chest. "That's okay. You're a really busy master...."

"Sorry I forgot Milo," I purred. "Yesterday was distractive." He nodded and looked back towards me.

"I forgive you," he told me sweetly then tapped my nose. "It's not your fault. You can't remember everything." He purred and kissed my cheek. "My sweet master~" He teased me.

"I suppose I can't," I sighed out. He smiled and then sat up on me, straddling my stomach before he smirked.

"No, you can't," he told me and then started to muss up my hair, messing with me playfully as he laughed. I frowned and tilted my head away from his fingers. He laughed and then watched me. "What? Don't like me messing with you?" He teased me and then ran his fingers through my hair lightly.

"I'm your king and maker," I growled playfully towards him. He smirked.

"Are you?" He teased me playfully.

"Do I have to prove it?" I asked him. He paused and looked at me, a little nervous looking as I said that and tensed up.

"Prove it?" He asked softly.

"You want me to prove it?" I asked and sat up a little. He widened his eyes and watched me.

"H-how would you prove it?" He asked me and bit his bottom lip, adjusting himself on me.

"I've got a shiny crown I never wear," I purred. He relaxed and laughed a little, hugging me before he laid on me, making me lay back down.

"That's okay. Thanks for the offer though," he told me sweetly. "I'd rather watch the movie."

"You rather watch the movie?" I asked and purred, looking towards the TV. "We'll watch the movie then." He smiled and looked towards the TV, relaxing on top of me as he got quiet.

After the movie was over, he sat up on top of me and went for the remote, reaching for it as he was doing his best to keep his balance and not fall off me. I held onto him to keep him from falling. "You can do it," I encouraged. He laughed and managed to get it, coming back to me before he laid down on top of me.

"Want to watch another one?" He asked, his finger lingering over the NetFlix button on it.

"Your choice," I looked him over with amusement. He looked at it and then glanced towards one of the windows to check on it before he smiled.

"Let's play a game," he suggested, turning off the TV as he sat the remote down next to us. "We could play truth or dare or if you don't like that, we could play chess."

"If we're going to play truth or dare we need to do that in my bedroom," I told him calmly. He nodded and then got off me, pulling me to my feet.

"We can do it to get to know each other better~" He purred and then dragged me towards the door as he picked up our two bottles of blood off the table. I grabbed my bottle and followed him out of the night room and to my bedroom. We went inside and I made sure to lock the door before going over to the bed and laying down on it. He followed me over to it and sat down beside me with a smile. "So do you want to go first or me?"

"Truth or dare?" I asked him. He laughed and then laid down beside me.

"Hmm... dare," he said and smirked.

"I dare you to drink your bottle of blood," I purred and smirked. "Down it, fledgling." He looked towards it with a slight frown before he picked it up and opened the bottle, starting to drink it before he finished it up and then looked towards me as he put the bottle down.

"You sound like a parent," he teased me and smiled. "So~ Truth or dare?"

"Truth," I said calmly. He nodded and looked thoughtful for a few seconds.

"Is it true that... the council sort of rules you?" He asked then looked me in the eyes, biting his bottom lip.

"Only the head of the council which is the Nero family," I told him. He nodded in understanding.

"Okay," he whispered and then got curled up. "It's your turn," he said sweetly, watching me.

"Truth or dare?" I asked him. He smiled.

"Truth," he told me innocently.

"Did you get jealous last night?" I teased.

"J-jealous? About what?" He asked me and then moved a little closer to me with a confused look.

"Just in general," I purred. He watched me and then bit his bottom lip before he blushed and gave a slight nod.

"A little... when Jason wanted to sleep in the bed," he mumbled.

"I thought you looked a little jealous," I smirked. "Don't worry, he's not going to ever get in the same bed as me." He nodded and then leaned his head against my chest.

"Truth or dare?" He asked me, looking up into my eyes.

"Dare," I shrugged and looked him over. He smiled.

"I dare you to... show me your weirdest dance moves," he told me and then started to nudge me out of the bed with a laugh. I laughed and got to me feet.

"My weirdest?" I asked him. "Only if you don't laugh." He nodded and bit his bottom lip, pulling my pillow close to him.

"I'll try not to," he promised me. I smirked and spun around quickly on my heels then turned slightly and brushed my shoulder off, a move that was done over a decade ago. He bit his bottom lip a little harder, making it bleed as he held in a laugh and buried his face into my pillow. I went back to the bed and collapsed on it.

"No laughing," I teased.

"I'm not laughing!" He said quickly, keeping his face in the pillow as his shoulders shook.

"You better not laugh," I started for him like a lion. He tensed up as he felt me coming and yelped, quickly sitting up. He couldn't help it anymore. He started to laugh, holding the pillow tightly and then screeched as he saw me coming, almost falling off the bed. I grabbed him quickly and got over him, growling playfully. "You laughed at me," I purred. He yelped and then went to push my pillow into my face as he couldn't stop laughing.

"I-I'm not laughing!" He told me, hurrying it out as he burst into another fit of laughter. I growled towards him and leaned in towards his neck, scraping my fangs against his skin. He yelped and dropped the pillow before he gripped my shirt, tense under me. "L-Lyle!" He cried out, squirming as he tried not to laugh.

"What's the matter?" I asked playfully. "Are you ticklish here?" He blushed and quickly shook his head no, but I could tell he was hiding it from me. I could feel his heart pounding in his chest quickly against me as he held in a laugh. I playfully nibbled at his neck and let out a growl. He gasped, tensing up and let out a soft moan before he laughed a little, squirming. I gave him a small love bite, messing with him as I gripped his sides. He froze up under me and then melted, tilting his head back and moaned, not being able to keep it in as he closed his eyes in pleasure. I pulled back and smirked. "Truth or dare?" He blushed and looked up at me then tensed up as he gently touched his neck.

"T-d... dare?" He looked unsure and squirmed under me, his face a bright red as his heart was racing. I could faintly hear it as it skipped a beat when he had touched his neck.

"Expose your fangs," I purred. He shakily nodded to me and then did as I had told him earlier, trying it out and managed to do it easily. I smirked and tilted my head to expose my neck. "Have a bite." He blushed and looked towards my neck then up at me innocently before he leaned in and gently bit down into my neck before he pulled away. "Milo, you're supposed to drink my blood too."

"O-oh," he whispered and then looked a little nervous about it as he leaned in towards my neck. "Okay Lyle," he mumbled and then started to drink from the bite. I shifted us to put him on top of me.

"There we go." He moaned softly as he moved a little closer to my neck and licked it, seeming to enjoy the taste of my blood as he moved his lips back to the bite and started to suck on it slightly, sending a feeling of pleasure through me as he was drinking obediently. I gasped and started to rub his back to sooth him. He purred and then scrapped his fangs playfully against my neck, sending a shiver down my spine before he licked me again and then kissed the bite. "How does my blood taste?" I asked curiously. He pulled back from my neck and looked down at me in the eyes, my blood on his lips and chin. He purred to me and then licked his lips.

"It's sweet... better than bottles... and it has a small undertone of chocolate with rose tea," he told me, giving me a sweet look. "It's the best thing I've ever tasted," he mumbled honestly to me.

"Purebloods tend to taste better," I told him. He nodded and then wiped his chin off, looking at my blood on his hand before he licked it off and purred, sitting up on me. "Your turn." He smiled then.

"Mkay, truth or dare," he said sweetly then got off me, laying down beside me.

"Truth," I purred. "I'm not dancing again."

"Why did you do that to my neck?" He asked quickly, leaping at the chance to ask it. He rubbed his neck and blushed as he watched me.

"You were laughing," I smirked.

"Yeah, but only couples do that," he whispered. "Your siblings are going to be questioning me! Oh no..." He shook his head and looked embarrassed at the thought before he hid his face into my side.

"What's the matter? Your neck will heal." I promised and kissed the top of his head.

"Before they see it?" He asked me softly. "I don't want them to question me about it.... It's already embarrassing.... I can't believe I moaned like that," he mumbled to himself.

"Embarrassed to be with a king?" I asked him. "Maybe I should get you your own room if you're worried about what others think."

"No!" He said quickly, gripping my shirt and quickly pulled his face away from my side to look at me in panic. "No! That's not what I meant! I just... Um..." He blushed and bit his bottom lip. "I just didn't mean to moan like that.... I know it didn't mean anything either.... We're bound together as maker and fledgling, right? Not that way...."

"That's okay if you moan," I told him. "You shouldn't be embarrassed by that." He watched me and nodded as he calmed down and then laid his head on my chest.

"O-okay.... It's your turn," he whispered softly to me.

"Truth or dare?" I asked.

"Truth," he told me and then looked up into my eyes.

"Have you had any relationships before?" I asked curiously. He shook his head no and gave me an innocent look.

"No," he told me. "I haven't been in one myself."

"Why not?" I purred.

"Well, I wasn't interested in it in high school, being obsessed with paranormal stuff and supernaturals, but girls thought I was weird anyways, and after I became a writer, I got too busy to even think about it," he told me and smiled. "On top of that, I was hunting for vampires at night too, taking up more of my time, so I haven't ever actually been in a romantic relationship with someone."

"You're so cute and innocent," I purred. He smiled and rested his head on my chest.

"Just because I haven't dated before?" He asked and laughed. "I don't think that is what makes someone innocent."

"You're innocent though," I smirked as I watched him.

"Nuh uh," he hummed out and smiled. "I don't think I'm that innocent."

"Well my siblings agree with me." He blushed and then leaned in towards my neck, giving it a kiss. I exposed my neck for him. "Hungry?" I asked. He purred slightly and then bit down into me, using his fangs again. I gasped and pulled his body closer to mine. He gripped my shirt and then started to move on top of me to get at my neck better. I let him and ran my fingers through his hair. He moaned as I did so and I felt him running his hands to my sides before he wrapped his arms around my waist. "Don't take too much," I warned him. He nodded and then licked my neck clean before he quit drinking from me and rested his head on my chest, nuzzling it against me. I wrapped my arms around him and started to rock him. He smiled and then relaxed, his fangs unsharpening before he closed his eyes and seemed to be enjoying it.

"You're the best maker ever," he whispered to me and curled up.

"You're the best fledgling." He nodded and then leaned up, kissing my cheek with a sweet purr.

"I won't leave you when the five years are up.... I promise. I want to stay with you forever," he mumbled. "I feel safe with you...."

"You didn't have to leave me anyways," I told him and smiled. "I'm pleased you want to stay." He smiled softly and then snuggled up to me.

"That's good," he whispered and then kissed my chest softly.

"Oh yeah?" I asked and smirked.

"Mhmm... because I'd get you if you didn't want me," he told me and then smiled innocently. "I'd be mad."

"You're going to be mine forever," I whispered to him. My eyes scanned his body quickly. He nodded and purred happily.

"Okay," he hummed.

"Do you want to just stay here for the rest of the night?" I asked. He nodded.

"Yeah, I'm happy right here. I don't mind if you want to go do something else though...." He whispered.

"I just wanted to make sure you're fine with this. After all.... Vampires are supposed to be adventurous right?"

"This is adventurous," he told me and laughed. "I've never actually been held like this before," he told me innocently, looking up at me with a happy look.

"You innocent fledgling," I smirked and wrapped my arms around him tightly and leaned in to kiss his neck. He gasped and blushed, a small moan escaping him as I kissed his neck. His heart started to race in his chest again, and I heard it skip another beat. "Tomorrow night will be more interesting," I promised. "We'll play some games outside." He nodded to me and turned slightly to look up at me.

"Okay," he whispered then kissed my cheek again, almost close to my lips and sort of teasing me, whether he meant it that way or not.

"Who's turn was it for truth or dare?" I asked. He frowned and then looked thoughtful.

"I think it was mine.... Yeah, because you asked if I had been in a relationship before," he told me then smiled. "Truth or dare Lyle?"

"Truth, I think." I looked Milo over.

"Hmm... Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a human?" He asked curiously, tilting his head slightly.

"Sometimes. Being born a vampire.... You'll never experience being human." I shrugged. "If humans wonder what it's like to be a vampire or a bird then it's the same the other way around." He nodded.

"That makes sense," he whispered then smiled. "Your turn."

"Truth or dare?" I asked.

"Dare," he said, that sweet adoring look making it's way back into his eyes.

"I dare you to tell me a secret," I smirked. He nodded and then smiled.

"What kind of secret? One from now or one from when I was human?"

"Either," I purred with interest. He's got some now? He nodded and looked thoughtful.

"Well.... When I lived in a college dormitory to get my degree... I had to go to this party one time and I ended up drunk... then woke up in some guy's bed the next morning," he said innocently, not looking bothered by it. "I thought we did it, and I was freaking out, but it turned out that it was a prank. Nothing happened, thank god," he told me.

"It's a good thing nothing happened," I held back a laugh and shook my head. "I can't believe you went to a college party and got drunk." He smiled.

"It was my first and last time going to a college party. My sister had made me go," he told me. "I didn't like it."

"Did you like getting drunk?"

"No," he mumbled. "I still have a hard time remembering what all happened that night. I'm not even sure how my clothes got off.... It's all a blur to me."

"Your clothes got off?" I asked him. "Are you sure you're a virgin?" I teased him.

"I am... I was still in my boxers, and there wasn't anything on me.... Plus the guy was laughing at me and told me that he filmed me sleep talking... which I watched to make sure he wasn't lying. He didn't touch me at all. I had to put it all on fast forward to watch it all," he told me innocently. "I just ended up in bed with him for a night. Nothing more, but I made him prove it."

"You better not get drunk and sleep in someone else's bed," I purred. "You better stay in mine for now on." He smiled and nodded.

"I don't plan on getting drunk again," he told me sweetly. "Besides, I like sleeping in here...." He smiled and then kissed my cheek. "Don't tell anyone, okay? That's my biggest secret from my human years. Not even my sister knows about it."

"I don't plan on telling your secret to anyone." I gave him an innocent look.

"Alright, truth or dare?" He asked, leaning his head against my shoulder as he watched me.

"Dare." He smirked a little.

"Dare? Are you sure?" He teased me, getting a devilish look in his eyes.

"I'm positive." I smirked.

"I dare you to... do something you've been wanting to do to someone to them that you've held back from doing," he purred to me. "Like maybe get Silas back or something. Your pick on who it is but they have to be close and nearby so that way it doesn't take too long then we have to come straight back here."

"You just want me to go get Silas," I purred and got to my feet with him. "Very well. We've got to go get a pie from the kitchen." I used my powers to rush us to the kitchen and I searched around it. I couldn't find a pie but I found a cake. "Close enough..." I muttered and grabbed it then started to drag Milo with me to search for Silas. He followed me and laughed a little as he watched me. After a few minutes, I found Silas walking down the hall with a book in his hands, headed in the direction of his room from the library. He sighed as he turned the page, skimming it.

"Who cares about ants that much?" He growled softly. "Just because they fought each other on your piles of wood and you sat and watched them fight doesn't mean you need to write about it." I walked up to him and slammed the cake straight into his face, licking a bit off my finger as it got on me.

"Sorry, I was dared." He gasped and dropped the book in his hands, looking at the cake all over him then at me before he exposed his fangs.

"Lyle!" He hissed and went for me. "I'm going to get you! You bastard!" I laughed and stepped back from him.

"You'll have to catch me first," I teased, backing my fledgling up behind me. He snarled at me.

"I don't have to catch you," he hissed. "I can just snatch that little toy of yours from you." He grabbed Milo's arm before I could get away with him then tugged Milo to him, making my fledgling yelp.

"Don't bring my fledgling into this," I hissed and tackled Silas quickly, making him let my fledgling go. Silas growled and quickly sunk his fangs into my neck deeply. I heard Milo gasp and he quickly got between us, pushing Silas away before he could do anything else to me. Silas stumbled back and then licked his lips, glaring Milo down then looked at me as my fledgling trembled slightly, gripping my hand in his as he stood in front of me protectively. I wrapped my arms around Milo quickly and looked towards Silas.

"It was just a little fun Silas," I said softly, feeling my neck healing up. Silas sighed and then wiped at his face, getting the cake off it then started to walk off.

"Whatever, I'm going to go take a shower and get this off me," he muttered, stalking off. Milo relaxed as Silas disappeared around a corner then looked up at me before he purred and jumped up into my arms before I could react and wrapped his arms around my neck and leaned his head against my chest. I laughed and started back for my room with him.

"He took that calmer then usual," I whispered.

"Maybe it's because I was there," Milo mumbled and then sighed softly. "Your turn Lyle...."

"Truth or dare?" I asked and started to drag him to my bedroom.

"Dare," he purred sweetly to me as he snuggled up to me in my arms.

"I dare you to-"

"We're home!" I heard Sylar yell down the hall. Milo glanced over my shoulder as he heard them and looked out of the bedroom door before I could shut it.

"They're back," he whispered then looked up at me. "Do you want to keep playing or go see them?"

"Let's go see them," I suggested. He nodded and then jumped out of my arms, getting to the floor then walked past me out of the room before I could, running off down the hall. I laughed and chased after him to make sure he wouldn't get out of my sight. He found them easily then tackled Everest into a hug, making my brother stagger back before he got his footing again. He laughed and rubbed Milo's head.

"Hey cutie," he purred then kissed Milo's cheek. "How are you- Lyle," he said, his tone quickly turning firm. "What is this?" He asked, looking up at me before he wrapped an arm around Milo's waist, holding him to him as he ran his fingers over the love bite on Milo's neck. Milo blushed and shied away from Everest's touch on his neck.

"We were playing a game," I said innocently. "No harm done."

"That looks like more than a game..." Sylar mumbled. Everest studied me for a few minutes before he picked Milo up.

"Yeah, no. Milo isn't allowed to sleep in your room anymore. You'll pollute his innocent mind. He's sleeping in my room from now on," he told me and started to walk off with him, going into his room then shut the door and locked it. I heard Milo protesting on the other side of it, panicking. I frowned and walked up towards the door and jiggled the handle.

"THAT'S MY FLEDGLING! GET YOUR OWN!" I yelled.

"HELL NO! You're not going to do dirty things to his innocent self!" Everest called out to me. "Here you go Milo. You can use this pillow." I heard Milo whine as the bed moved, Everest probably getting in it with my fledgling as he was more than likely making him stay.

"MILO!" I yelled and started to panic.

"Lyle," I heard him whimper my name through the walls even though it was muffled.

"Shhh, come here Milo," I heard Everest say soothingly then heard some shuffling around in there. "Is that better?"

"EVEREST THAT'S MY FLEDGLING! I'M YOUR KING! GIVE HIM BACK!" I fumed with anger. It got quiet on the other side except for Milo whining, and it didn't sound like Everest was planning on giving him back like I ordered. Esther sighed and walked off, going into her room to avoid being out here with us. I whined and kicked the door. "MILO!" I yelled. I heard Everest yelp suddenly and the smell of his blood reached me.

"Ouch! What was that for?" I heard Everest complain.

"MILO COME TO ME!" I ordered.

"Don't you dare- OUCH!" Everest yelped and then I heard the sound of struggling.

"GOOD BOY, COME TO ME!"

"Milo! He's going to do dirty things to you! Don't get up out of the-" I heard a thud then and Everest groaned before I could hear Milo's light footsteps racing over to the door before he tripped right by it.

"Milo!" I yelled and struggled to open the door. I heard him gasp and then the door clicked, unlocking and opening as I messed with the handle. Everest was tangled up in the blanket on the floor, looking like he had been shoved out of the bed and Milo was sitting up on the floor near the door, getting to his feet. I snatched Milo out of the room quickly and shut the door. "Don't ever let someone take you away from me again," I begged. He looked up at me and then started to cry, pressing himself up against me as he buried his face into my chest.

"Lyle!" He whimpered and then gripped my shirt. He quickly moved his face into the crook of his neck and worked his way up into my arms, making me carry him. I laughed and started to carry him back to my bedroom.

"It's okay, I've got you." I purred to him. Everest's door opened and he was coming after us quickly, looking worried. Milo yelped as he saw him and quickly hid against me, trembling. I started to run then, getting to my bedroom before he could catch us and locked the door behind me. When I turned around though, Everest was sitting on my bed with his legs crossed, glaring me down.

"Lyle, you're not sleeping with Milo," he told me firmly then got to his feet. "You're obviously doing things to your fledgling."

"Don't you dare take my fledgling from me," I hissed and exposed my fangs towards him. He narrowed his eyes and walked up, gently touching Milo's back and looked up at me.

"Lyle, you're going too far with spoiling him," he whispered, looking slightly worried. "You practically made love to his neck! He's already so wrapped around your finger and like a puppy that he'd do anything for you that you could easily take advantage of him. I don't want you doing that to him. He's too innocent!" Milo shrunk against me and gripped my shirt tightly, clinging to me.

"He's my fledgling..." I mumbled and kissed Milo's cheek.

"So? You're still taking advantage of him," he told me and frowned. "You know what it means when you do that to someone's neck." Milo glanced at Everest then exposed his fangs defensively when he went to take him from me, biting my brother's hand and making him yelp.

"Don't take him from me. I'm your king, respect me." I exposed my fangs and tightened my grip on Milo. Everest frowned as he massaged his injured hand then narrowed his eyes.

"You better not be taking advantage of him," he whispered to me. Milo laid his head against my chest and purred, nuzzling his head against me. "You know what happens to fledglings. They love being around their makers especially in their younger years."

"I'm not taking advantage of him. You're just jealous you don't have a fledgling like Milo." I purred and kissed Milo on the top of his head. Everest frowned and watched us for a few minutes before he sighed.

"Don't take advantage of him," he warned me then disappeared, leaving us alone finally. Milo kissed my cheek as he left and purred, curling his fingers into my hair as he wrapped his arms around my neck.

"I'm not taking advantage of you..." I muttered and brought him over to our bed then laid him down on it and crawled in with him. He was quickly in his favorite spot right against me, his head on my chest as he wrapped his arms around me.

"You're not," he agreed with me softly as he clung to me. I rubbed his head and laughed softly.

"My brother was so mad," I mumbled. He nodded and then looked up into my eyes.

"I don't ever want to be separated from you again," he told me quickly. "Never." He sniffled as he still looked a little freaked out about having been taken from me and he pulled me closer to him.

"You won't be," I whispered and kissed the top of his head. He relaxed slightly and then crawled on top of me, curling up on my chest before he closed his eyes and laid on me. I rubbed his head and looked him over. "Silas will probably find some cruel way to get me back though... so we better stay alert." He nodded and then opened his eyes, looking at me before he blushed then kissed my cheek.

"We won't let him get you," he mumbled to me before he pulled the blankets around us closer.

"Oh yeah?" I asked. "How are you sure it's a we?" I teased him.

"Because you promised me we wouldn't be separated again," he told me sweetly before he smiled. "You're my maker too...." He purred and then leaned in towards my neck, kissing it before he started to give me a love bite.

"Then we'll both be watching our back for Silas and preventing him from getting me back." I smiled as I looked my fledgling over. "Let's get some rest?" I suggested. He pulled away from my neck and then laid his head on my chest.

"Mkay," he whispered softly. "Sleep sounds nice...." I closed my eyes, feeling sleep take me over quicker than I could imagine.
