112 Baby Brother

Continuation of Silas' POV:

Everest disappeared, leaving me in Rei's bedroom alone with Baby on my shoulder. I smiled and then glanced around, looking for my mate. I found him sitting on the couch watching the TV. I held back a purr and snuck up behind him, wrapping my arms around his neck and kissed his jaw line. "Rei," I mumbled in his ear then nipped at it. He purred lightly.

"What happened today?" He asked and yanked me over the couch. "You got a dragon?" I laughed as I fell down beside him then stole a kiss from him.

"Yes I did," I told him then moved my hoodie down from my head to show him Baby snuggled up to my neck. He looked him over before scooping him up and bringing him to his chest.

"What's his name?" He asked and kissed the top of his head. I smiled at him and curled up in Rei's lap.

"I named him Baby because he's my baby," I told him and purred, kissing Baby's head then Rei's lips. "He loves honey milk~ It's so cute, watching him drink it down... and he gets after your fingers when he gets hungry if there isn't a bottle nearby. He makes the cutest little chirp noises too~"

"He's so little," Rei mumbled and rubbed his head with his finger. "We might loose him if we're not careful."

"We're not going to lose him!" I told him then looked at Baby. "I'm going to keep a close eye on him. He isn't going anywhere...." I purred then went to take Baby back from him. "He's going to be the size of a guinea pig when he's mature."

"We better not give him baths near drains...." He mumbled.

"No... he's going to need to have it in a small bowl for his entire life. We can probably get him something like a bird bath for him to play in. They're shallow," I told him and put Baby back on my shoulder then looked at Rei before I kissed him. "I think I freaked him out while he was hatching though. I touched his leg and he drew back into his egg quickly and took a few more minutes before he got out of it." Rei busted out laughing as he heard it then gave my cheek a kiss.

"Silly," he purred in my ear. "You think a dragon got freaked out by you."

"He's so small though," I told him and purred before I wrapped my arms around his neck and straddled his lap. "Guess what! You're looking at future king of the resistance," I purred to him and gave him a playful look. "I'm taking over as soon as I can. We captured the leader after all, and I'm going to put myself right where I used to be- in charge of them all."

"You're going to rid them of course," he purred. "It won't be too long..." He looked me over. I smirked at him then rubbed his lip with my pointer finger.

"Uh huh... and then you get to have me all to yourself~ Then the kids get a claim," I told him and leaned in, stealing a kiss. He kissed me back and purred.

"You better hurry up. They miss you every day you're away." I nodded and then leaned in towards his neck, exposing my fangs as I scrapped them against him.

"It's almost there," I murmured to him. "We have a problem though.... Lavender- the leader- is a vampire hunter and human... and she was the one that killed Colsin with her twin... and Esther is mated to her."

"What will you do with her?" He asked curiously.

"I promised Sylar revenge for Colsin," I murmured. "He's going to kill her... and Esther is going to be mateless once again as sad as it is.... She would get so hurt if she got to be with her mate though... so maybe this is for the best," I told him and looked him in the eyes as I kept my fangs exposed.

"Well she is a hunter," he said thoughtfully.

"Yes, she is," I whispered. "I don't know. I might send Esther here later for her to recover. She's going to be in a lot of pain...." I shook my head then purred. "Sylar has a sexy butler in his life now," I told him and smirked. "His name is William apparently, and it seems Sylar is head over heels for him." I laughed then leaned in towards Rei's neck. "I'm happy for him~" I bit down and started to drink his blood, a small moan escaping my lips before I marked him. He let out a small moan then purred.

"Sylar has a guy named William? I want to see this." He rubbed my head and purred. "We should make them go on a double date with us." I pulled back from his neck and purred.

"Yeah~ We should.... You know... you could meet William rather easily. He's going to be the next head butler for Sera and Kingsley. Alfred- the current one- is retiring and training William to take his place. Sylar met him there while he was visiting," I told him and caressed his cheek. "My brother is in love with a butler," I purred out and laughed. "This is going to be interesting."

"We should go visit Kingsley then~" Rei suggested. "After all.... Our son is there. We'll have to take Hesper and Alfarus with us though..." He frowned. "After all, I'm watching Alfarus." I nodded and laughed.

"We'll go visit. Besides, you need to ask our son if he is planning to be lovers with Killian... but we'll have to be careful. Sylar is protective over William. He doesn't want anyone getting too close to him I think.... He definitely wants no one sinking their fangs into him," I told him then kissed his lips before I purred and slipped off his lap, pulling him to his feet and started to lead him to our bed with a playful look. He smiled and leaned in, giving Baby a kiss.

"Let's go as soon as you get what you want from Lavender and kill her," he decided. I nodded and then sat down on the bed, kicking my shoes off.

"We will. I think at that point- after I declare my leadership- I can take a small break," I told him then gently took Baby off my shoulder and placed him on my pillow before I laid down with my head right next to him. Rei crawled into bed and laid down directly on top of me, snuggling up.

"One- SMALL- break." He looked up into my eyes and smiled before closing his eyes. "I want you to get your job down before Lyle busts his car's window." I laughed and looked at him then kissed the top of his hair.

"I'll have the job done soon enough," I told him then smirked, giving a playful growl as I wrapped my arms around him. "You're lucky our newest son is in bed with us." He laughed softly and kissed my chest. I heard Baby lift his head and travel to the foot of the bed, sniffing the air. I frowned and looked towards Baby, looking past Rei. "Baby, what are you doing?" I asked and picked my head up, watching. He isn't about to leave us, is he? I might have to make him a nest elsewhere if he doesn't like our bed.... He watched the door for a minute before looking down at the floor and jumped off the bed, running for the door. He let out a chirp then. I widened my eyes quickly and shoved Rei off me, going for him. "Baby! Come back here! You're not leaving the bedroom!" He'll get lost! He's too tiny for that! He chirped again before running up to the door and let out another chirp. Rei got off the bed quickly, coming after us.

"Where does he think he's going?" Rei asked and laughed. He let out another- louder- chirp. I frowned and walked up, scooping him up. I bet he senses Hesper or something. I sighed and looked him over. I'm not losing him to my son, am I?

"Baby," I mumbled and rubbed his head then sighed, opening the door as I held onto him tightly so he wouldn't try to escape and stepped into the elevator to go down to Hesper's floor to see if he was wanting my son. I'd need to know for the future.... He let out a chirp and watched the numbers change at the top of the elevator. He ran around my hands and chirped again. Rei had followed after me. "I think he wants Hesper," I muttered and looked at my baby dragon. "Great." I sighed and then got off the elevator as it came to a stop and started for Hesper's bedroom door, watching Baby's reactions. He looked around before getting quiet and nuzzled his way out of my hands before getting on my head and chirped. I frowned and looked up at him then grabbed him. "That's it. I'm getting you more milk to knock you out," I told him and started back for the elevator. "I'm not having you run off from me."

"What's that thing?" I heard Giovanni ask from the elevator as he stepped off. I paused as I looked my son over then smiled.

"It's your new brother," I told him and purred. "This is Baby. He's a dragon that we've adopted." I walked up and kissed Giovanni's cheek. "Want to help me feed him? He's a little excitable right now- might be hungry or might be looking for someone. Either way, the milk will calm him."

"Umm..." He looked Baby over before sighing and nodded. "Yeah, I'll help feed him. I don't have anything better to do and it gives me a chance to be with my parents." I purred to him and then rubbed his head before I led him onto the elevator.

"Baby isn't that bad," I promised him then glanced towards Rei as he got on then remembered he grounded our sons awhile ago. "Rei, sweetie, have you ungrounded them?" I asked him and frowned, petting Baby to quiet him.

"No actually- I've been meaning to talk to you about that!" Rei said quickly. "I forgot to the last time you had your days off and the boys have been bugging me to talk to you about it."

"You mean you haven't asked mom yet!?" Giovanni asked. "I've been going insane from bor-"

"Oh calm down. It's not the end of the world."

"It is to me," he mumbled. "Mom, can I be ungrounded?"

"I think it's been some time," Rei told me. "What do you think? They've learned their lesson?" I frowned and looked down at Giovanni, studying him. It has been awhile.... I bet they've been going out of their mind.

"Yeah, I think they've learned their lesson," I purred then kissed Giovanni's head. "No more fighting, okay? You can have your instruments back and all your equipment, but if you two start fighting again, you're going to lose it for an entire year."

"Oh, you also need to tell your brother the good news." Rei told him.

"About our new brother right?" Giovanni asked.

"Well, that you're ungrounded," I told him and smirked. "You can tell him about Baby too while you're at it." I smiled then gently placed Baby in Giovanni's hands. "Baby, this is Giovanni, your big brother," I told him and laughed. "Be sweet."

"Okay.... I'll make sure he gets word of Baby," Giovanni said before looking him over and petted him. I smiled and watched them before I heard the elevator ding. I got out and waited for them before I purred and started to walk down the hall towards the kitchen, swaying my hips slightly to tease Rei. Rei laughed as he followed, wrapping his arm around Giovanni's neck and guided him. As we neared the kitchen I could hear Hesper's voice. I frowned and stopped outside the door then looked towards Giovanni before I took Baby back from him and slipped baby into my hoodie pocket, keeping my hand in there with him. Hesper always attracts dragons.... I don't want Baby becoming unattachable from him.... Alfarus would eat him....

"Could I have eel too?" I heard Hesper asking.

"Oh look, Hesper is in the kitchen," Rei purred out as he pushed Giovanni in first. I looked towards Rei then went inside, going towards the refrigerator to get some milk.

"Alright Baby," I purred as I started to heat up the milk then got down some honey to get ready to mix it in. I hope Baby is just looking for food... or wanting to explore. It's probably one of those two things now that I think about it. He's been napping a lot and eating.... He must have a lot of energy in him. I should get him some toys to play with... like a ball for him to pounce on and a small pile of gold for him to play in.

"Hi- Oh my god....." Giovanni said and paused as he looked over Hesper. "Why are you taller than me!? I'm older than you! Mom! Dad! Why's he taller than me? What'd I miss?" I heard Hesper start to giggle and go for him then.

"Giovanni! You didn't come see me when I came home!" Hesper pounced on him quickly. Alfarus was in here as well. A maid was cooking for them, making them sushi. Rei let out a small chuckle as he came in and shut the door. I heard Baby start to chirp in excitement from the commotion and poked his head out to look. Alfarus gave a sharp growl as soon as he heard it and looked directly at my pocket, starting for me. I widened my eyes.

"No! You're not taking Baby!" I hissed at him and exposed my fangs, moving my pockets away from him as I glared him down.

"We adopted a new son," Rei told him calmly. "We named him Baby since he is our baby now." He still growled and marched right up to me, going for my pockets. I smacked his hands and hissed.

"No!" I growled back at him then took Baby out of my pocket and held him close to my chest. "Back off! You'll eat him!" He glared down Baby and narrowed his eyes as he looked him over.

"You got a baby?" Hesper asked and walked up curiously, looking interested and ditched Giovanni. "I wanna see! What kind is he?" Alfarus looked towards Hesper and tensed up but quieted down quickly, watching Hesper curiously. I purred and looked him over then looked towards Hesper, slowly moving my hands so he could see Baby.

"Yeah~ He's your little brother," I told him and stroked Baby's head. I saw Alfarus relaxing as he looked Baby over then looked towards Hesper with a small purr before he wrapped his arms around Hesper's waist and kissed my son's neck. I got the microwave as it went off then mixed honey into it before I pulled a kitten bottle out of my pocket and filled it up and fixed it for Baby to have it. I brought it to his lips and purred, offering him the bottle.

"I want to feed him!" Hesper yelled and reached for the bottle.

"I thought I was!" Giovanni yelled and walked up to us. "Bud out Hesper, you get enough attention." Rei gave an amused look as he watched us. Baby looked the bottle over before biting the nipple hard and broke it open, making the milk spill all over us. I chuckled then looked him over. I wonder if he can eat meat yet.... I looked towards the maid then walked up, stealing a small piece of fish from her then held the shred of it up to his nose as an offering.

"Wanna try it?" I asked him sweetly. "It's fish~ Dragons like fish." He looked it over and licked it to death. I purred then pulled it back before I slipped my finger up against his lips and rubbed his teeth, wanting to see how developed they were. He might not be able to have it yet.... He moved backwards and gave me a funny look before turning around and looking around the room. I laughed and gave him back the fish, putting a little in his mouth this time to see if he'd get the idea on his own. "Stay with mommy," I purred to him then chirped at him. He swallowed it whole quickly before hacking it back up. I heard my boys let out disgusted sounds. I wrinkled up my nose. "No more fish for you until you're older," I told him quickly and wiped my hand off once he finished hacking it up. I sighed and then kissed his head to comfort him then chirped softly to him out of curiosity. I heard Rei laughing softly. Baby looked up at me curiously before he chirped.

"Mom, you just ignored me," Giovanni whined.

"Me too, but that's okay." Hesper said. "I have my mate." I tensed then looked at the two. Oops... Wait a minute... did Hesper just throw some shade at me? I frowned then walked up.

"You don't need a mate at your age," I told him then pulled him away from Alfarus, earning a growl from him. I slipped Baby onto my shoulder and petted his head then looked down at my sons before I purred and kissed them both on the head. "Do you want me to read to you both?" I asked them sweetly then gave them a smile. "Or we could play with Baby some and wear all three of you out~"

"What? I'm fourteen. I don't need a bedtime story but Hesper might," Giovanni teased.

"Well-" Hesper blushed. "Alfarus doesn't give me bed time stories..." He trailed. I looked the two of them over then purred.

"How about this.... Giovanni, would you play the piano for me and your brothers?" I purred, looking towards him. Baby should get a kick out of the piano. He'll get wore out racing across the piano top.... He probably just has too much energy right now and that's why he ran off the bed.

"Only if you tell Hesper a story," Giovanni purred. "Like one from your past- How about one about Uncle Lyle?" He asked curiously.

"Uncle Lyle!" Hesper yelled quickly, looking excited. "I want a story about Uncle Lyle." I heard Baby chirp along to their excitement then. I laughed and shook my head.

"Alright, let's go to the music room, and I'll tell you all a story on the way. I'm sure your father will get some amusement out of this," I told them then looked towards Rei with a purr. "Should I tell them one that's recent or one that was when I was younger and got along with him? I doubt they want a story from the time Lyle and I weren't getting along. That's for when they're older...."

"Oh oh oh! Could you-" Hesper ran up to the maid then. "Bring me my sushi when it's done? I will be in the Music room."

"Of course," the maid chimed out.

"Thanks!" He ran up to Giovanni and yanked him out of the kitchen quickly. Rei laughed and pulled me after them.

"How about an untold story from your younger days?" He asked, curious himself. I looked at him thoughtfully and then looked towards my children.

"An untold story about Lyle and me huh?" Have I told them about Lyle's birthday gift I made him? No... maybe I should tell them another story. I rubbed Baby's head as I looked at them thoughtfully. I purred then as I thought about something not a whole lot of people knew. The Rosario family- every single member of my small bunch of siblings- knew how to fence. Our father loved swords and taught us all to fence to get us into sword fighting.... "Well... there is something I've never told you," I purred softly and looked towards Rei. "Every single one of my siblings can fence, including me... and Lyle and I were the first to be trained...."
