95 A Date for a Lady

Sera's POV:

Instead of hunting down Kingsley, I found Kara and Dmitri on the way to my room. Kara was only happy to join me in picking out an outfit so Dmitri ended up being forced to come along. "I like this dress," Kara told me as she held out a floral cocktail dress. I giggled as I looked it over. "But you don't have to go with a dress, Sera. You two aren't really going out... you should pick a comfortable everyday outfit... since you're taking him into Kingsley's garden room with all those birds." I purred in amusement at her suggestion. She thinks that that's not an everyday outfit for me? Fancy clothes is my life. Live every day like it's your last.

"I like dresses though," I told her. "They make me feel special. Besides... I want to look my best every day."

"What kind of person is he?" Dmitri asked from the couch with a frown.

"He's a doctor," I told him sweetly and turned to look at Dmitri. He looked towards the dress then nodded.

"I guess that says something about him then. He had enough dedication to go to college that long- surrounded by humans," he told me before he looked towards Kara and purred. "I think she should wear the dress. She's trying to trap herself a mate."

"Yep yep! We're putting her in this. Hurry up Sera and wear this one." Kara held out the dress towards me. "You don't want to be caught zipping it up when he gets here... Do you?" I laughed and took the dress from her before heading towards my bathroom to change in private.

"I hope this goes well for her," I heard Dmitri mumbling to Kara after I shut the door. "Mates aren't always big deals to vampires- they are, but they aren't at the same time...." I tried to ignore that little remark as I changed into the floral cocktail dress and walked into my closet to get the matching heels. When I finished I walked into my bathroom to fix my hair up, putting it in a broach. I walked out to them and purred. He smiled my way and looked me over before he nodded in approval. "You look beautiful," he told me and laughed. "He'll be swept away."

"Swept away? No he'll be tied down!" Kara giggled in determination as she eyed me over.

"Maybe he will be later when she wants kids," he purred and laughed slightly. "I think the butlers said he was here. They took him to Kingsley's tea room."

"I better go then," I sung out and kissed Kara on the cheek. "I hope you have a wonderful night together." I left the room then, leaving them to it. I'm sure they could show themselves out of my room. I walked down to Kingsley's tea room which he had specifically made in a garden room where birds were imported and kept there. Kingsley and Aurelio loved flowers and birds. I walked into the room, having butlers open the doors for me. I glanced around expectantly for him. He was sitting by a window, looking outside with his legs crossed and his hands laced together in his lap. His dark hair was neatly combed back today, showing off his beautiful face. He glanced my way and a kind smile played on his lips as his grey eyes lit up at the sight of me. He stood up rather quickly and bowed.

"Milady Sera," he purred in a greeting to me.

"Milady makes me sound old," I told him and gave a small smile. "I'm glad you showed up." I glanced over at the table sitting dead center of Kingsley's tea room. "How about we take a seat," I purred out in amusement.

"It didn't take me long to get Kingsley!" I heard Aurelio hum out as he walked over with my little nephew. "He was in our room like I said. So! How about we go on a double date! The sun won't be up for a couple of hours. We could go see a movie." Godric looked towards Aurelio and Kingsley and chuckled.

"We could go," he said softly before he looked towards me and walked up, standing beside me. "Would you like to Miss Sera?"

"She'll be up for it," Kingsley purred out in amusement before walking up and shaking Godric's hand. "I already give you my blessing," he whispered into Godric's ear. Godric blushed slightly as he looked towards Kingsley then nodded.

"I'll take note of that," he whispered back then purred a little. "Besides, I'm going to court her first like she deserves."

"I like you already," Kingsley purred out before laughing. "So you thinking about moving to town? I hear we need a good doctor." He wrapped an arm around Godric's shoulders and started to lead him to the door. Aurelio smirked and linked elbows with his other arm. I laughed and trailed after them. I can't believe they stole my date.

"Well... I already have a nice apartment elsewhere... but I guess I could move closer to Sera and perhaps move my work near here as well. It would be easier," Godric hummed out. "I can see about it...." He glanced back at me and then looked at Kingsley.

"We have plenty of rooms," Kingsley insisted. "I am king after all. I wouldn't mind housing you."

"It would be safer and closer to Sera," Aurelio whispered to Godric. He tensed slightly and hesitated.

"I don't know.... I should have my own place for a bit longer.... I don't want to intrude at all, and I'm set up nicely," he told them.

"You're not intruding, you're already family." Kingsley rubbed his head and laughed. "Aren't you wanting that?"

"Of course I am. I just don't want to rush it," he purred out happily. "I want to do it right."

"Let him do it right," Aurelio sighed out. "It's their relationship after all. It's not like us where we knew we were destined to live together. Hell I practically invaded your castle and never asked you if I could stay."

"You're a good friend though," Kingsley whined. "I wouldn't tell you no.... never." I heard Aurelio let out a purr before he shoved Godric backwards to get to Kingsley and kissed him on the cheek.

"God I love you," Aurelio husked out. Godric laughed a little as he watched them.

"Are you sure you two want to go on a double date?" He teased them.

"We'll be fine," Kingsley assured him and pushed Aurelio backwards. "We've always been fine. Right Aurelio?" I heard him grumble a yes. I laughed and linked arms with Godric.

"At least I got my date back," I whispered to Godric in his ear. He purred and looked towards me.

"Yeah, at least that," he whispered to me softly, giving me a sweet look. "I will move closer to you though. They have a point about me living so far away. I can always find another hospital, and it would be worth it if it was a much shorter drive to see you often. Being so far away isn't a good thing."

"Especially since we're..." I trailed off as I looked him over in admiration. "Mates."

"Especially because of that," he purred to me then gently touched my cheek. "I can't stay where I'm living right now. It's too far away from you. I'll be moved in closer to you before the week is over."

"Really?" I asked and gave him a sweet smile. How thoughtful of him to move within distance in only a week.

"Yeah, of course I will. I'll have to start looking as soon as I get home though," he hummed out thoughtfully and took his hand away from my cheek, keeping his elbow linked with mine. "I'll also have to notify my work... and start applying at new hospitals closer to here."

"As soon as you move to town, we should have a night together." I looked him over and gave a sweet smile. "We could do something fun." He laughed and looked at me.

"Yeah, we'll go on another date," he purred to me. "That's the whole point of me moving closer, isn't it?"

"I know," I laughed out. "I'm making plans ahead of time." I followed Kingsley and Aurelio out to the garage where we took Kingsley's yellow sports car into town to catch a movie at the theatre. Along the way, Aurelio insisted we watch the latest 'in' movie which was a horror movie. Godric seemed to enjoy it when we had watched Aurelio's pick, not shrinking back from the movie even with the scares. By the time we had gotten back to the castle, I could feel the sun coming soon, about to be dawn. He gave my hand a small squeeze as he helped me out of Kingsley's car and smiled at me.

"I enjoyed tonight," he told me softly, giving me a kind smile. "It was one of the best nights I've had in awhile."

"You didn't think running for our lives the first time we met was better?" I asked him with a small laugh. "After all, that was kind of fun."

"It was," he purred and nodded. "That was definitely a lot of fun. Who knew running from crazy vampire hunters would lead you to your destined mate?" He asked me then smiled. "Besides, Ross was a ball of fun, even if he was trying to chase me off."

"I want you to be careful," I told him. "You live near where those hunters were. You might end up dead and then where would I be?" I asked him and frowned. "Promise me to stay safe until you move." He nodded then shut the car door behind me.

"Yeah, I will be careful," he promised me softly. "I don't plan on dying anytime soon."

"Aurelio can take you home," I told him sweetly. After all he brought him here. "In the meantime while you're waiting to move closer to me.... You can be thinking about me." I laughed softly as I pulled him into a hug to make him catch my scent. He tensed before he relaxed and purred, wrapping his arms around me. He leaned in and kissed my forehead gently as he held me close.

"It'd be hard to stop thinking about you," he purred to me as he looked down into my eyes with a smile. "I'd be very unlucky if I managed to get you out of my head."

"I'd have to insist you come live with me if you forgot me so easily," I teased him. "I might let my dear nephew kidnap you with that case."

"I could never forget you. You're very much the girl of my dreams," he told me happily. "I'll have to watch my back though. Your nephew might try to kidnap me anyways."

"He is a little devious," I laughed out. "Watch your back... You might end up tangled." I laid my head down against his shoulder and breathed in his scent. He smelled amazing, his scent drawing me in and making me feel warm and fuzzy inside and safe. He gently kissed the top of my head again and then laughed softly.

"I'll have to take you out again very soon," he told me quietly. "I'll miss you while I'm away, and I'll be wondering what you're up to."

"Maybe you should try calling me," I suggested. We'd probably never hang up on each other. It would be like that movie Elizabethtown.

"I think I want to take you somewhere where we can dance next time," he told me then purred. "I'll definitely call you."

"Dance? Like a ball?" I asked curiously. A ball would be fun. "There's one after Lyle's coronation. Seems like that might be our next time."

"Oh? Well we'll definitely dance there," he told me and laughed before he kissed my cheek. "You do like dancing, right?"

"I love it," I told him quickly. "It's what all ladies do for fun."

"That's great then~ I love dancing too," he told me then purred before he looked towards Aurelio then at me. "I think I better get going though. The sun is getting ready to come up, and the quicker I get home, the better, and I don't think Mr. Aurelio would be too happy if I made him wait longer." I frowned in realization we had to separate. He had to go home before the sun came up and I needed to be in a safe place as well besides the garage.

"You're right," I sighed out. Just as I done so the garage opened and A'slin's red sports car pulled into the garage and cut off. I frowned as I glanced at it. A'slin is still here? I noticed Killian was in the passengers seat. Well it looks like they're real good friends. "That's awful late of them to be out," I muttered motherly. Godric looked towards the car curiously as he watched the two of them getting out.

"Who are they?" He asked me quietly.

"My dads are out here," Killian told A'slin then frowned before he walked up to us. "Hey dads," he said sweetly. Godric raised an eyebrow.

"So they adopted a kid?" He asked curiously.

"Killian- the older boy is their child but A'slin is Silas's eldest." I looked the boys over and noticed something off. Killian had silver streaks in his hair while- as A'slin stepped out his hair was a bright dyed red.

"What did you do to your hair?" I heard Kingsley ask in surprise and anger. "You didn't think to ask?" Killian's eyes widened as he heard his dad, and he looked at him quickly.

"Uhhhm... we thought we would do some streaks, and A'slin wanted to make his hair red," Killian mumbled and fidgeted slightly. "Sorry dad, I didn't think you would get too mad," he whispered.

"Mad? Your hair was so beautiful black. People would kill to have the hair you had! So many people dye their hair to get it that dark- and what were you thinking letting A'slin dye his hair?! His parents might kill him then you then me!" I heard panic rising in his voice.

"It was my rebellious idea," A'slin whined out. Killian looked towards A'slin before he walked up to Kingsley and hugged him.

"It will eventually be completely black again, and A'slin has eternity to get his silver hair back. At least he is a vampire," Killian pointed out then purred, kissing his dad on the cheek. "I won't dye my hair again. Once was enough for me dad."

"It will be enough. I've been reading parenting magazines and guess what? You're grounded and A'slin goes home tomorrow night." Kingsley gave him a hard look then. "It'll teach you." Killian's jaw dropped then.

"Grounded?! Dad!" He growled slightly then before he looked towards A'slin then at his dad. "Fine, you can ground me but you aren't sending him home. I'm an adult and I finally got a friend. You wouldn't send him home- especially when he has been helping you by keeping me from biting people."

"He's just as guilty as you are! I'm calling his father and mother right now." Kingsley pulled out his phone to call them. "They'll have a good part in what to do with him as well. He's younger than you. I expected you both to take care of each other. He helps you not bite around and you make sure he keeps from his rebellious side." Killian frowned before he went for the phone.

"Don't call them! I want him to stay here! This isn't fair at all! Dad! Please? Just let him stay until the coronation! He can go home after that!" He managed to get the phone and frowned at Kingsley.

"Absolutely not! You're grounded and he's going home. That's my final statement on the matter. Now go help him pack." Killian gave a growl before he looked towards A'slin.

"Come on. We'll get you packed and then I will ask Uncle Lyle if I can stay over till the coronation," he told A'slin then dropped Kingsley's phone back into his hand as he walked up to A'slin and grabbed his hand, leading him towards the door.

"Killian! You're not staying over there while you're grounded. That's the whole point of groundation."

"I will see you at the coronation dad," he purred over his shoulder then gave A'slin a happy look. "So I think we should bring some of my games with us. Call of Duty would be great," he purred, taking him into the castle as he used his free hand to pull out his phone to text Lyle. Godric shook his head then gently kissed the top of mine.

"At least he isn't running away for good," he murmured to me then purred as he brushed some of my hair back behind my ear. "Since how it is getting really early in the day, do you mind if I stay here till the sun sets?" Kingsley gave a pissed look.

"I'm his father. He should be better minded! Killian! Don't back talk me! I'm your father and what I say goes! You're staying home or else I will ground you from the coronation too." He stomped his foot down hard. "How the hell does Silas deal with sixteen kids? I can't handle one." He grabbed Aurelio's hand and yanked him to go after Killian.

"I don't mind if you stay here. We'll get a room fixed up for you," I suggested before pulling him to go find Alfred. He gave me a kind smile.

"Thank you Ms. Sera," he told me softly. "I will do my best to be a wonderful guest."

"I hoped so," I purred out to him. We went inside, finding our way to where Alfred was in the servants kitchen, teaching someone about tea. He stopped explaining the process when he heard me come in.

"Miss Sera," he chimed out. "What can I do for you?"

"Godric needs a room near mine for the day."

"I had one set up actually... just in case it was needed." Clever Alfred.

"Thank you." I looked him over then the other servant. "Is this... him?"

"Yes," Alfred told me. "This is him." The first thing I noticed about him was his hair- a light blue color- that he kept short but not too short with a natural look. He turned to look towards me and smiled broadly, his eyes different colored eyes- one gold and the other hazel- lighting up in delight.

"Good morning mistress~" he said sweetly. "I'm William Ellis." He was really too adorable to just simply be another servant, but there he was, dressed in the black suit uniform of my butlers.

"William..." I tried out his name as I looked him over in approval. He's not what I imagined Alfred to pick though.... He's surprising. "You must be top servant for Alfred to pick you..." I muttered. "I want you to serve me tea when I wake up tomorrow night." I reached out to shake his hand. "That will determine if I approve you myself." He blushed and looked towards my hand before he shook it.

"Y-yes ma'am," he told me nervously and took his hand back, looking towards Alfred. "Sir, it is alright... right?"

"Of course. I will be watching over your shoulder and guiding you with suggestions. I won't let you mess up too badly." Alfred gave a huge smile of amusement. "After all.... I'm still head butler." William smiled at him then.

"Yes sir," he said happily then looked back towards the tea he was learning. "So I should try my best to master this tea before tomorrow night. Okay! I got my goal~" He walked back up to the tea pot with excitement, laughing a little. I smirked as I watched him... I think I like him already.

"Good morning boys," I sung out as I pulled Godric out of the room. He purred to me and let me pull him.

"So that is going to be your new butler soon? He seems nice and cheerful. He'll make the atmosphere for your guests a lot more fun," he told me and then linked arms with me. "I think he was a good choice."

"Alfred picked the best for the role," I purred out in agreement. He knows I love a good act. I took Godric upstairs and towards my room. He looked around the halls curiously as he let me lead him, looking interested in his surroundings then laughed a little as he heard Ross faintly give a mating call.

"Is that Ross?" He asked me curiously, looking towards me. I started to hear Toma respond to him then, the dragons picking up again from their rest.

"I told you they were in season," I purred out. "They're wanting to have hatchlings this season."

"Oh that would be fun," he purred to me. "Little dragons running around.... You'll have to watch your fish."

"I already have to. Toma likes to hoard them. He's a fish eater and I guess it makes since because he has a sea dragon for a mate." I stopped at my bedroom doors and gestured towards the one a little ways down the hall. "That's you and this is me." He looked towards it and nodded before his eyes returned to me and he gave a soft smile.

"Okay," he purred softly then leaned in and kissed my forehead. "Good morning Ms. Sera," he whispered to me as he pulled away then went to walk past me to go to the room. I watched him leaving my side and gave a small pout. Darn it... I'm going to a lonely bed tonight... again. I opened the door but kept my eyes locked on him. He reached his door and opened it then glanced towards me. I could've sworn I saw a light blush on his face as he saw me watching him and he went into the bedroom rather quickly, shutting the door behind him. I giggled before stepping into my room for the day.

"Mistress?" I heard a soft call near me then gently felt someone pulling back the covers slightly from my chest. "Alfred sent me to wake you." I opened my eyes slowly and glanced directly at the clock on my nightstand, seeing it was a little past nine. I looked up at the funny blue haired youngster.

"Sera," I corrected him. He blushed then gave me a nod.

"O-okay, Sera then," he whispered and gave me a huge smile before he stepped back from my bed. "Would you like me to fetch you anything?"

"Yes.... Go down the hall and fetch me that handsome man staying in the room. Tell him it's time to wake up." I purred as I sat up and leaned up against the headboard. "Don't bring him here. Bring him downstairs to the garden outside. You'll instruct him to wait for me there. You'll bring us tea and sandwiches. Before you go... go run me a hot bath." He nodded and smiled.

"Yes ma'am," he said sweetly then walked towards my bathroom and went inside, turning on the water for me. He got it set up for me then left, going out into the hall. William is doing fine so far... except he's nervous and childish. He'll grow used to being my personal hand soon enough. He'll also be trained as this family's lawyer. He's going to be trained to replace Alfred of course. He will be most trusted. If Alfred picked him... then he has to be good at something.... enough to catch Alfred's attention and to train him to take his place.

I watched the door for a few minutes before slipping out of my bed and going into the bathroom. I grabbed a bath bomb and threw it into the tub, watching it fizzle as I undressed my body. I stepped into the tub, falling down into the silk water of gold. The gold flakes stuck onto my skin immediately, making me shine and shimmer. I sunk in completely before coming back to the surface. My bath went well after that. Quite normal. When I stepped out onto the soft awaiting rug, I wrapped myself up in a nearby awaiting robe. I walked into my closet, running my fingers against the clothes as I tried to figure out what I wanted to wear. Finally in decision, I put on some floral pants, a white dress shirt, and slippers to wear around the castle. I wasn't in the mood for shoes. I walked out to my bathroom mirror and blow dried my hair, brushed it out, then brushed my teeth. When I was finished, the gold lingered in my hair and on my body. Ross would be thrilled to see me like this. I let out a comfortable sigh before leaving my sleeping quarters completely and made my way to the garden to meet... Godric.

"SERAAAAAA~!" Ross came streaking up from down the hall and tackled me in his dragon form, about the size of a kitten tonight. He purred and rubbed his head up against my feet. "Where's Aurelio~?"

"I don't know sweetie... Ask Alfred, he might know." I reached down and picked him up. "Would you like to come with me? I'm meeting Godric out in the garden." He purred loudly then jumped from my hands onto my shoulder.

"Uh huh, but don't tell Toma~ He'll find me and we're playing hide and seek. Whoever wins gets fish!"

"Are you sure that's the bed game for your mating season? You two might be mad the other is hiding.... and then I won't get hatchlings."

"Well... it's more like I snuck out of the nest," he purred happily then nuzzled my neck. "Toma is sleeping."

"Oh?" I asked and tsked. He tried to slip a lie past me. I continued my way to my mate. "You're hiding from your mate? Toma won't be happy."

"I'll go back once I find Aurelio~ I want to ask him about the eggie," he said sweetly then laid down on my shoulder, fluttering his wings. "I don't want Toma to stop me from asking."

"You should try Kingsley's room," I suggested. "Or the study. They're usually in either or- his little bird watching room. He'll definitely be there drinking tea."

"I'm going to see Godric first!" He laughed then gave a small growl. "He left the car that night."

"Fair point," I laughed out as I came across the outside garden. I walked up to the set table and sat down in front of an awaiting Godric.

"Did you sleep well?" I asked. He looked towards me and smiled.

"I did. Thank you," he purred to me and leaned slightly forward. "How was your sleep?" William set down two teacups in front of us that were filled with steaming hot tea that smelled delicious. He smiled at me sweetly before he walked over to a nearby table and picked up a butter knife, cutting the crusts off the sandwiches he had over there waiting for us and then cut them into triangles.

"Long and lonely," I told him. "Two L's." I leaned cross the table and took Ross off my shoulder, sitting him down in the middle. "Ross wanted to see you." Godric looked towards him in delight then yelped as Ross tackled him quickly then cackled, puffing smoke at Godric as he crawled on top of his head.

"H-hey there Ross," he said and laughed a little, waving the smoke away from his face with a cough. I leaned back against the chair then, watching with interest.

"What time will you be needing to leave?" I asked. "By the way, you should probably tell Ross your big plan about moving into town," I winked.

"What plan?" Ross asked quickly, looking down into Godric's face.

"Oh, well I am moving closer within the week. I want to be closer to Ms. Sera," he told Ross happily.

"You'll visit?" Ross kept back a small purr then looked delighted as Godric nodded. "Good! You can join my hoard~ You'll be one of my treasures~" I laughed as I picked up the cup of tea in front of me. I blew on it before taking a sip. Ross seems to like Godric... even after all that fighting to not bring him along with us and away from those huntresses. "Move in," Ross told him with a slight growl then nipped at Godric's hair.

"I'm not moving in just yet! I want to court Ms. Sera properly," Godric told him then pulled him off the top of his head. Ross purred and rubbed his head against Godric's hands, relaxing quickly in his grip.

"If Godric wants to make it appear like he's strong and independent then let him," I told Ross. "I like that about him. He's not ready to depend on this castle. He will be moving in eventually though." I purred as I sat the tea down. "You can move as slow or as fast as you like dear. In the end we're still mates." Godric smiled towards me and gave me a loving purr before he rubbed Ross's head.

"I know," he told me then yelped as Ross accidentally scrapped his horns against Godric's skin. "Those are a lot sharper than I thought they were," Godric mumbled.

"William," I called.

"Hm?" He was by my side in seconds, looking down at me with a smile. "Yes ma'am?"

"I'm not that old... am I?" I asked him. He blushed then.

"No, you're not that old," he told me quickly. "It's just me being respectful of you."

"As head butler, you won't need to feel a reason to not call me by my first name. Sera. Got it sweetie? I want us on friendly basis. You're going to spend most of your life waiting on me. Least I can do is let you call me by my name. You're not a low servant anymore." He watched me and seemed to take that in before he nodded and gave me a sweet smile.

"I'll remember that Sera," he told me happily. "Is there anything you wanted?"

"You're slow at cutting," I teased him. He blushed then looked towards the sandwiches.

"Am I really that slow with it?"

"Are you done?" I asked him.

"I have one more to finish," he told me then looked back to me, biting his bottom lip.

"Slow," I teased and patted his chest. "Go finish it."

"Of course Sera," he told me sweetly and laughed a little, going over to the table and quickly finished it up. He brought the plate over and sat it down in the middle of the table, glancing his work over and nodded in satisfaction when he saw that they were all cut perfectly and were stacked neatly into a pyramid. I looked the tiny sandwiches over before grabbing one to eat. Okay, this young buck might be a keeper. He watched me curiously and bit his bottom lip as he watched me eat it then smiled broadly when I felt a smile come to my lips from the taste. He laughed and then looked towards Ross.

"Would you like some sushi?" He asked Ross kindly.

"You're good kid," I told him when I finished the sandwich. "I'm impressed. Keep up the good work." He looked towards me with a cute blush then nodded.

"I will try my best," he told me sweetly then glanced towards Ross as he heard him purr.

"Is this the butler that will replace Alfred?" Ross asked, looking the kid over as he inspected him.

"Introduce yourself," I suggested to William. He glanced at me then nodded, looking towards the dragon with interest.

"I'm William Ellis, and I'm being trained by Alfred," he told Ross who purred a little louder.

"I like him," Ross told me, looking my way before he jumped down onto the table and walked up to William then gave a playful growl. "His hair is blue. It's pretty like sapphires and the ocean!"

"Alfred did pick a good replacement," I mumbled. He might live up to Alfred's standards. Maybe surpass if he keeps his cheerfulness.

"I approve," Ross purred then jumped up onto William's shoulder, making him laugh in delight. He looked towards Ross excitedly and gently held out a hand to Ross, watching as Ross smelled his hand then started to rub his head against it with a loud purr. "I'm keeping him if you don't~"

"You're not keeping my butler in training," I tsked out. "He's supposed to be my Alfred replacement." Ross purred then nipped at William's fingers, making him yelp. He went past William's hand towards his neck then made a small noise of delight.

"His ear is pierced!" Ross snuggled up to William's neck, making him blush and tense up a bit.

"Not many boys do that," I laughed out as I noticed. Maybe he's gay. It was just one ear with a simple piercing holding a small black stud in his earlobe. William bit his bottom lip and lightly touched it then looked at me.

"It's alright that I keep it, right?" He asked me softly. "I had it done last year... but no one ever told me I couldn't with the uniform."

"You can wear it," I told him and laughed. "It'll stand out around dragons though."

"Is that a good thing... or a bad thing?" He asked me curiously, gently rubbing Ross's head as Ross was trying to snuggle closer to his neck.

"Both," I told him and looked towards Godric. "So, what time will we need to find Aurelio so he can take you home?"

"Probably in an hour," he told me and smiled at me. "My home is pretty far away." Ross sat up on William's shoulder before he nipped at his ear, making him yelp and tense up.

"O-ow," William whined then went to take Ross off his shoulder.

"That's fine. Aurelio is great at his fine arts of wizardry."

"Oh?" Godric asked me and raised his eyebrow. William managed to set Ross down without him leaping back onto his shoulder and backed up from the table, rubbing his ear before he looked towards me and stood by my side, watching Ross.

"You know that," I teased Godric. "Ross I hope you're behaving." Ross purred and looked towards me before he started to come towards my hands but stopped, looking towards the door as he tilted his head. He gave a quick, loving call to check if Toma was up. I laughed as I watched him then heard Toma call back for him. He let out a sweet purr and started to go to the edge of the table, looking love sick as he let out another call. Godric laughed a little as he watched him with interest.

"Bye Ross," I laughed out as I heard Toma let out a louder call. Ross jumped off the table quickly and landed on the ground with a thud before he went racing towards the castle, letting out another call to Toma. I laughed as I heard their mating calls erupting.

"There they go again," I laughed out. I wonder how the servants feel about all this. Poor humans. William laughed a little as he watched Ross running off.

"It's sweet," he whispered under his breath, a small smile forming on his face. "I bet they're really happy together."

"More happy then you could ever imagine," I whispered. "Love does that to you." I glanced straight towards Godric. Godric was watching me with a happy look but blushed as I looked towards him, a small purr coming from him. I laughed a little as I picked up a slice from the plate and fed it to him. He ate it and kissed my hand after he swallowed it, his purr becoming louder. I smiled as I watched. "Did you enjoy that?" I asked as I drew my hand back. He looked into my eyes and nodded.

"Yes, I did actually," he told me then leaned across the table and gently kissed my cheek. How romantic. I tilted my head and caught his lips with mine quickly. He tensed a little before he relaxed and gently cupped my cheek, pulling me a little closer as he kissed me on the lips and pulled back slightly, looking me in the eyes as his breath hit my lips. I looked deep into his before licking my lips slightly.

"So you did."
