23-year-old Yo-Han losses his father in a fire, unable to come to terms with his death, Yo-Han turns to alcohol. One night after leaving a bar, he was driving back home when he had a car crash and died insistingly. When he arrives in the afterlife he gets reincarnated into a Death Angel. Meanwhile along with Yo-Hans father, also a woman dies, trying to save his father but end up losing her life along with him. The woman leaves behind her 17-year-old daughter, Min-Young. Min-Young ends up in a foster home as her mother was her only family. 3 years later on her 20th birthday, Min-Young was on her way home when she was nearly hit by a car. she was fated to die that night by a drunk driver but in a twist of fate, Yo-Han who was the chosen Death Angel to escort her soul to the afterlife accidentally ends up saving her instead. Yo-Han gets summoned by the Gods to answer for his mistake and as punishment has all his powers stripped from him and gets turned to a human. The only way for him to get his powers back is to be the one who escorts Min-Young soul to the afterlife when her fate comes around the second time, so Yo-Han has no choice but to come to terms of becoming human again and trying to be with Min-Young where ever she is. Having to be around Min-Young all the time, Yo-Han realises he has another problem, instead of wanting Min-young fate to come around soon, he has found himself wishing for her to live instead. what could this possibly mean?
