15 Shadow God Arts
Leon went closer to the fragment and looked at it carefully. He felt a strange attraction from it, but he did not know whether it was coming from Death Qi or fragment itself.
Is this thing left my Mad God?
Fragment looked harmless, he did not feel any danger from it.
"I should take a look at it," Leon said.
He lifted his hand and grabbed the fragment, suddenly, fragment emitted a light and turned into an orb, finally, disappeared into his palm.
This gave Leon a fright, he wanted to see what secret this fragment contained, but he didn't expect fragment to disappear into thin air.
However, at this time waves of memories started to flood his mind, it overwhelmed him and he felt sharp pain, he had this kind of experiences before.
He gained Death Scripture and Death Facade in a similar process and didn't suffer any pain.
However, the process this time was different, previously he gained memories directly to his soul, but this time he was getting them into his brain, causing him to suffer tremendous pain.
He was extremely distressed, slowly, the pain came to an end, he concentrated his mind and started to look at newly gained memories.
These memories contained a strange cultivation art, its called 'Shadow God Arts' and was created by the Shadow God, it allowed its user to form two cores, one contained Life Qi while other Death Qi, unlike normal cultivation arts, where user can only utilize the power of Life Qi, Shadow God Arts allowed user to combine the power of both Life and Death Qi.
If the user could cultivate this art, he could perfectly fuse these two opposite Qi and unleash the extremely destructive power, that is beyond what Life Qi alone is capable of.
But, the prerequisite was that user must be able to control both Life and Death Qi, although Leon had not seen other powerful cultivation techniques, he knew one thing, that no other cultivation techniques allowed the user to cultivate both Life and Death Qi.
Leon was curious about Shadow God, he wanted to know how Shadow God could use Death Qi.
"According to death, no one other than Death God can control Death Qi, then where is this Shadow God came from and created such powerful art that uses both Life and Death Qi?"
Leon obviously didn't know that Shadow God and he is similar existence, created and curated by the hands of Death God himself. Even death didn't know so how could Leon know.
"Is Shadow God has some relation with Death God?"
Leon kept thinking, yet couldn't come with any reasonable answer. Finally, he decided to give up and focused on Shadow God Arts.
"Not only this Art contains the process of utilization of both opposite qi, but it also tells you how to utilize the elements of darkness, fire, and lightning.
"According to the memories, I only have the fragment of this art, I don't know which realm I can reach using this fragment, as this art does not distinguish itself between realms."
He tilted his head upwards and looked at the ceiling of the tower.
"As for other fragments, I somehow can sense their presence, they are probably on the upper floors."
He felt conflicted, on the one hand, he can use this wonderful art, but he has to collect all fragment, on the other hand, he can find some good cultivation art which only allows him to use Life Qi and might not be as powerful as this one.
If he chooses Shadow God Arts, he might have to face other floor trials and probably Mad God too.
He did not know that Mad God has died and the tower is now owner-less.
"I will decide it later after I leave this place, but how do I leave?" He asked.
"I should go back and ask that Dracul guy."
He then walked to the door from which he came from, now the Mad God was dead, magical power on door lost its effect.
The door opened as soon as he reached the front, then he walked out of the door.
He looked all around, this place was still the same without any change, finally, he summoned Darcul.
"Haa Haaa Haaa! Young man, you succeeded. I don't know how you did it? but you have my gratitude."
Leon was confused, why this Dracul guy was thanking him.
"I don't know why Lord Darcul is thanking me?" he asked.
"You killed Mad God and freed me, of course, I would thank you," Dracul replied with pleasure.
Leon was astonished, he did not kill Mad God and almost died by his hands, when he woke up, Mad God was already gone, he had not expected to hear the news of Mad God's death.
"Although my soul binding with the tower is still intact, I can feel that the will of the tower is gone and the tower is now owner-less. In fact, I can feel a fraction of new will and that will is yours."
Before Leon confirms his suspicion, Dracul replied. This made Leon both happy and at the same time, uncertain. He was happy that the Mad God had died, but how did his will replace the will of Mad God?
'Hm! Hm!'
"Lord Darcul, have I become the new master of this tower?" He coughed then asked.
If he becomes new master, wouldn't it be a lot easier to get other fragments of Shadow Gods Art? But soon all his hopes got crushed.
"You indeed became the master of the first floor, while other floors still remain owner-less," Dracul replied.
"So I am the owner of the first floor, then shouldn't I be able to open the door of the second floor?" Leon asked.
"Unfortunately, the answer is No! Even though you became the master of the first floor, however, it does not contain the doorway to the second floor. The only way to get to the second floor is to find and come from the original portal created by Mad God." Dracul replied.
Leon was disappointed to hear that, but he thought about what kind of trials he would have to face on the other floors, he wanted to know the difficulty of other trials so he could decide whether to practice Shadow God Art or not.
"Lord Dracul, what kind of trail would I face on other floors?" He asked.
"Ha Ha Ha Ha! There will be no trails from now on, these trials depend on the owner's will. If there is no owner then there shall be no trial." Dracul laughed and said.
Leon was brimming with joy, so all he has to do is to find portals, then come and get the fragments.
"How do I leave this place?" Leon asked one final question.
