55 Chapter 63 Do What You want

Rhio POV's

It felt good to have told someone my burdens but all the things she told me about herself has preoccupied the space in my chest that I hoped would be emptied. My curiosity about her lover has made everything else around me pass in a blur. The long winding road, the big expanse of trees, the few houses in the distance, until everything looked like the familiar sight of the city boarder.

"Hey," she confusedly raised a brow at me, "We passed the chapel already."

I was surprised to have almost taken her to her new house.

I'm not supposed to know about it. "Right. I'll turn the car around."

"It's fine," she said "I live somewhere around here now."

"Tell me where it is. I'll just drive you," I lied.

"I'll walk," she sighed and removed her seatbelt. Her motions where slow and I guessed she didn't really want to go home yet "Thanks."

"You just don't want to see your boyfriend. Just tell him already," I mumbled.

"I told you it's not that easy," she leaned her back against her seat again.

"It's better than you being like that."

"I deserve this," she collected her things and got off.

"Whatever."

Do what you want.
