"Derick…" 

"Rhio," I looked at him again, "Don't ever neglect Jasmin's safety…or else you'd have to explain to my fists. Take care of her and your baby."

"Leave!" he yelled. 

"Derick," Jasmin smiled a little, "I'm sorry if I messed your life too. I'm sorry if I let you hope until now that I---" 

"No Jasmin. It's okay. Rhio, remember what I told you. Don't ever leave Jasmin. Well, I think this will be the last time we'd see each other…" 

"Der---" 

"Take him away," Rhio yelled again. 

I turned back from them and got in my car. I'd leave the country with the woman I knew will just mess with Jasmin's life. 

It was painful but I felt much better with that pain than with all the hatred I felt before. 

I can now breathe my own fresh air. 

And I'd never let anybody hold me by the neck again.
