I walked towards her and stroked her tummy.

"Our baby's kinder to me today," she said.

"Of course," I kissed her cheek, "his daddy cooked for him although he wasn't good at it…and I'll still cook for you for weeks until our baby tires of eating my dish….and realize that his daddy is a bad chef."

"Are you trying to tell me something?" she laughed.

"It's challenging but I'm happy to do it. I'm going now."

"Can I come with you?"

"No," we started to walk to the porch, "You'd get bored and besides, you'd hate me if I ignore your childish knacks. I'm always busy when I'm at the office. And one more thing…you have a session with your OB today."

"Okay. But I'll expect you'd fulfill your promise."

She escorted me to the main door.

"Be a good girl…" I turned to her again, "Take care…both of you."

"Take care too."

"Bye…" I got her surprised when I kissed her lips. She's always like that.
