1 Prolog - 7

Seven (7)...

A number that you think is a small number. But imagine if you were seven siblings and you were the only daughter. And worst of all, you are not treated like a princess by your all brother.

The atmosphere that morning looked bright at the Soedarmo family's residence. Every family member was busy preparing for their routine activities.

Putri noticed the movements of her mother, who had been walking past Putri.

For some reason, although many housekeepers stay and can help Mariana, she will always be busy for prepare breakfast.

Mariana's hair is only shoulder-length, with her brown hair color making her look younger.

Putri remembers that at that time, she chose and convinced her mother to choose the hair color.

Mariana still looks beautiful, and Putri is very impressed with her mother. Many do not think that his mother already has seven grown children.

"Aarrghhh..." Putri's voice growled so softly, but it was enough to be heard by the people around her.

"I've told you, didn't you! Let me cut the bread." Mariana's smile was so sweet while holding Putri's hand which was slightly slashed by the bread knife.

"It's not that bad. I already prepared it. Just sit down sweetly! Putri, what time will Andi pick you up?" Look at Mariana to Putri.

"Soon Mom... Well... If Andi is late, it looks like Putri can go with Rian, right?" Putri looked at her brother Rian.

He was busy with piles of paper, and the other hand was busy holding a glass of milk. Rian immediately choked on hearing his sister's request.

Suddenly, Ryan raised his eyebrows.

"No... No... No... I can't, Putri! I already have an appointment with someone else." Rian immediately gulped down his milk,

While putting several piles of paper into his backpack. Looks in a hurry, and Putri replied with a cynical look.

"I'm sure you want to pick up Linda, huh?" Putri explained.

Bambang - her father was reading the newspaper, immediately lowered his newspaper and looked at Rian from behind his thick glasses.

"Who's Linda?" asked Bambang with a serious face.

Rian grinned anxiously, and his face was slightly red.

"Dad, Linda! She's an eleventh grader... Looks like Ka Rian is smitten with her... Ouch!!" Putri screamed instantly because Rian immediately pinched her arm.

"No, Dad! I just want to be with Jeremy! Jeremy's motorbike is broken, he just sent a message to me." Rian immediately takes his bag to go.

Bambang still watched with suspicion and saw Rian, who seemed to be hiding something.

"I go first, Dad," Rian said as he walked away without listening to his father's advice, who might come out with a long lecture.

"So...? What do you want to ask me? One question has a cost, dad." Putri's smile grew wider.

Bambang frowned, knowing what Putri was thinking.

"Ask? No, I don't want to ask anything."

Putri was surprised by her father's attitude, which became soft.

"Dad? Usually, you always find out right away, and you also forbids this and that. How come you don't care now?" Said Putri immediately shifted towards her father's back. Her hand had taken the newspaper that Bambang was holding.

Putri looked at her father was neatly dressed in a white shirt and black coat. Her father's handsome face was visible even though there were some lines of wrinkles on his face.

And that good gene has been passed down to the sons and daughters of the Soedarmo family. Perhaps this is also what made her mother fall in love with her father.

"Dad, you are starting to get weak, hehehe." Putri embraced her father.

"Ouch ... ouch .." Putri was shocked because someone hit her head lightly. She saw the other brother was grinning slyly at her.

"Raja..! It hurts, you know...!" Said Putri, very annoyed,

"Raja? I'm Rafa Putri! You're still wrong!" Raja protest with a smile.

Putri looked closely. "Yes, Rafa! Why did you hit my head?" And not long after, Raja appeared from behind the kitchen door, taking the bread on the table.

Mariana had warned about the bread that was still hot. But Raja did not heed his mother's warning until he threw his bread in his right and left hands alternately.

"Mom, today we are up late. There is an event on campus. The plan is to discuss the activities for the 1st of next month." Said Raja while giving the first bite to the bread.

"Yes, mom. What Raja said is right, but we try not to stay overnight... Ouch..! I mean, we try not coming home at night."

Raja immediately nudged Rafa. Mariana just nodded slowly and said "OK" quickly. While pouring coffee for her husband's cup, which was still empty.

"Mariana... when will Roy come home from his honeymoon?" Bambang asked and started to fold the newspaper. He is putting it in the corner of the table while Raja and Rafa were busy teasing their little sister.

"Hey...! Who are you?" asked Raja with his mischievous smile.

"I'm your sister...!" Said Putri with annoyance.

"Since when do we have a younger sister in this family?" Rafa replied with a wider smile.

Putri could only look at her twin brothers viciously.

"Roy will come home this week, Bam," Mariana answered.

"Roy and Lisa are going back, and the plan is that they will stay in here?" Mariana said while tidying up some of the plates on the dining table.

"Sri..! please tidy up your groceries... Don't forget to wash the fruit and store it in the refrigerator," said Mariana, cutting off the conversation when she saw Sri enter from the back door.

(Sri is a maid who works for the Soedarmo Family)

"Bam, don't forget that before lunch, we have to meet with PT. Surya Industri. After lunch, we also have a meeting with the board of directors." Mariana picked up the white tablet and started swiping at the screen.

"Mmm... I check your schedule for today." Mariana still looks busy with her tablet, without showing any reaction from her husband.

The daughter looked at her mother with great amazement.

Apart from being a housewife, Mariana's role is very important besides her father, being the personal assistant of the owner and president director of the Soedarmo Company, which works in the food and beverage industry.

"I'm glad Roy is back from his honeymoon. Hopefully, all my shopping list has been bought. Shoes, watches, bags..." Putri said cheerfully.

And again, Putri's head was hit with a very thick math book. Putri glanced and saw her brother, who was only one year different from her - Wira.

Putri snorted in annoyance, "Why do all men in this family like to hit my head?! My head can get lumps!"

Wira looked back at Putri and without answering. Turning around, enjoying his bread and his math book, which he was perusing.

Even though Putri felt annoyed, but at least she could feel happy. Because Wira already wants to start interacting with her. After what happened to her one year ago.
