2 Chapter 2: Before.

WARNING: This chapter displays scenes that may make the viewer uncomfortable.

My feet took me as fast as they could take me, stumbling here and there, to find my sister. Somehow, I had known where she would be, it was as if I was connected to her telepathically, because we both knew what each other had felt and thought all of the time. My thoughts at the time consisted of, 'please let her be okay, please'.

Though, of course, that wasn't how it had gone at all.

Elizabeth... Sweet Elizabeth...

I had been drawn to the forest nearby the city of New York, and it was somewhere I had never been, nor even heard of, before. Nobody was there, as I ran through the trees.

"Eliza-" I cried out, being cut off, as I had tripped over. My knee was grazed, along with an excruciating pain in my foot. My vision had always been good in the dark, far better than most my age, and I was considered a night owl. Once I had looked back at what I had tripped over, exactly, I found her.

There she laid.

Dismembered, and covered in scratches.

Her porcelain skin, cracked from the unsightly marks upon her.

Eyes dull and lifeless.

Oh, dear Eliza.. my formerly ethereal sister, how and why had it to be her?

She had always been so lovely to people, to her friends, family... everyone. Yet somehow... she paid the price for her kindness. How could people be so cruel? My blood boiled from the pure rage I had felt, why? The questions running through my mind at the time were full of spite, I felt as though I would find her murderer and skin them alive.

Though, now... Dear Elizabeth Alinsky was no longer missing.

Instead, reported dead, by me. Her own sister.
