Dream opened his eyes, to surprisingly be hugging George. Dream smiled and hoped for them to stay like this for a while.

"Hey Dream..?"

"Hm?"

"Why do you.." He paused. "Why do you flirt with me as a joke?" He asked as he pulled away from the hug.

Dream looked at him and saw he was staring at his lap, tears falling onto his jeans, leaving temporary small dark spots.

Dream gulped. "You think it's a joke?"

George looked up at him, eyes filled with tears. "Of course I do! When we're recording you're joking, so how would it be any different in real life? And it hurts me so much! Every day I think about you, wishing you weren't joking around. These past few days I can't look at you and not think, 'I really wanna be with him.' I'm sick of it!" Tears were streaming down George's face.

"Wait Geo-"

"I'M NOT DONE!" He took in a shaky deep breath, it seeming as if he was about to pour out every bit of emotion he had.

"Dream, everyday I just want you to love me, like actually. I want to spend time with you and not feel like I'm not a fucking joke. That's all I want. You. Everytime you compliment me or tease me, my heart aches. I wish it were true. You give me butterflies every time you walk in the room! I just can't get over you, especially if you keep making me feel this way! I just can't.." George cupped his head in his hands.

Dream was shocked about how George felt about him. He always thought that he only saw him as a best friend- with benefits...

He sighed. "George, look at me." George lowered his hands, but wouldn't look up. Dream raised his chin with his pointer finger, and thumb. He then cupped his cheeks and slowly brushed his thumb against his cheek, wiping away his tears.

"I want you to know this. I don't flirt with you just as a joke. Sure, I laugh at you sometimes, but I don't mean it just as a game. George, I- I really thought you were just getting uncomfortable with me for a while, and I thought I was hurting you, but now I see why you 'chickened out'."

George let air come out through his nose, as if he lightly giggled, tears still falling [okay yeah ik that made no sense i mean like when you smile and then let out a short laugh, but its through your nose almost like a sigh but not okay im srry anyways]

Dream scooted close and pulled him into a hug, lightly scratching his back.

"George, you don't understand the way I feel about you. Not even I do. I could never bear the fact if you started dating someone other than me." Dream chuckled. "I want to cuddle you and cry with you. I want to warm you when you're cold. I want you to feel like you're the only boy I see in this world. I need you, George. I love you so much, and I wish you didn't feel that you're a joke to me."

A tear slipped from Dream's eye. He could hear George's muffled sniffs as his hands tightly gripped Dream's sweatshirt. They sat like that for a few minutes before George pulled away to wipe his tears.

Suddenly, George glared up at him.

"Woah, wished I wouldn't feel that way? How do you expect me to feel?" George asked, his voice growing hostile.

"I didn't mean it like tha-"

"Oh what did you mean then, Dream? You never cared about me, I'm just your little toy that you think you can play with when you're bored."

He stood up, and stomped towards the door. Dream tried to follow him.

Suddenly, the lights flickered and almost right away burnt out, changing the scene. The natural lighting was faint, but bright enough to make out George's facial expressions.

George smiled. "I hate you Dream, you hurt me. I never actually loved you, I just enjoyed getting the content out of it. You are a monster, and nobody loves you."

Dream stared in shock as he disappeared into the depths of darkness and the voices that taunted him daily slowly surrounded his head.

He started getting flashbacks; beer glasses breaking, screams of agony, crying, the memories fuzzy, but definitely there. He fell to his knees and screamed in pain and agony.

"NO PLEASE!" Dream yelled, being scared wide awake. George was sitting next to him, his eyes widened in concern.

"Are you okay Dream?!" He sat on his bed next to him looking scared and alarmed.

"I-it was nothing, i-it was just a nightmare.." He sighed, taking in deep breaths.

"Will you be okay?"

"I-I think." He stuttered, slightly shaking.

"Well, if you need anything, tell me." He started to leave the room.

"W-wait." George glanced at him. "C-could I maybe sleep w-with y-you? I-it would make me feel b-better."

George looked at him in disbelief, but waited for Dream to get up from the couch and follow him to the bedroom.

Dream climbed on the bed, shaking a bit, while George reluctantly climbed under the covers, snuggling deep into the comforter. Dream pulled him into a short hug.

"Please don't leave me alone, George."

He let go of him, and when Dream looked at him, hardly noticing it, George was smiling.

After a few moments, he sighed.

"I won't, Dweamy."

Dream smiled and close his eyes.

"Goodnight, Gogy."

"Night."

Dream slept better the rest of the night, knowing George was peacefully snoozing right next to him.

โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”

Dream opened his eyes to see a snoring George.. on him? George lay cuddling close to him, his head resting on his abdomen, his legs were probably sprawled out across the bed randomly. The comforter lay above them both, keeping them warm. Dream fought back the urge to laugh.

๐˜๐˜ฆ'๐˜ด ๐˜ด๐˜ฐ ๐˜ฑ๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ..

Then, George stirred, causing Dream to jump a little. George suddenly turned his head, looking him in the eye.

"D-dream?" He said in a morning voice.

"Goodmorning, Gogy." Dream patted his head.

George sat upright, rubbing his eyes and stretching.

"How did you sleep?" Dream smirked. "It must've been well. You were sleeping on me, AGAIN."

He hesitated, gaining back consciousness. "Yes, it was very comfortable, thank you. I enjoy you being my personal pillow every night. I definitely would love you to be just that every night, as long as you're okay with it?" George smirked, as Dream flustered.

Dream lightly pushed him over, causing him to yelp. Dream laughed as he crawled over to George and started tickling him.

"D-dream!" George started giggling. "S-sto-stop!"

Dream wheezed, having to pause. Suddenly, two hands pushed him over. Dream opened his eyes in surprise, just as George pounced on him.

"Oof!"

"That's payback!" George smiled triumphantly.

"You're laying on me again."

George looked confused for a moment, but eventually realized the position they were in, causing him to blush in embarrassment. He quickly got off.

"I hate you." George crossed his arms and pouted.

"Aww, I love you too." Dream smiled at him in a flirtatious, but playful way.

"Hmph!"

There was a comfortable silence that only lasted for a minute.

"Hey, what should we do today?" Dream asked.

"Uhh, why are you asking me?" George laughed. "I've hardly been in Florida!"

Dream rolled his eyes, realizing he had asked a dumb question.

"Pff, whatever. Hmm, we could just walk around in the city?"

George agreed.

โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”

They walked out to Dream's car, Dream wearing a zip up lime green hoodie on top of a plain white shirt with black jeans, and George wearing a blue shirt tucked in his light blue jeans.

Dream and George spent about 3 hours walking around the city, admiring the places and looking through stores. They had so much fun. Then, Dream felt a drop of water. He looked up to see the clouds were turning a light gray, the rain falling more and more by the second. George looked up as well.

"It's raining." George said.

"Woah, I had no idea!" Dream exclaimed sarcastically.

He watched as George rolled his eyes, the rain slowly seeping in their shirts making them shiver.

The rain poured harder, and soon their hair was damp.

"Brr, it's getting kind of cold." George mumbled while rubbing his arms, loud enough for Dream to hear.

"Why didn't you bring a sweatshirt?"

"I-I didn't know it would rain!"

Dream sighed dramatically and unzipped his hoodie, putting it over their heads covering most of their bodies with it. They both slowly walked, laughing together as the rain softly pattered on the sidewalk.

After walking back for a while, they got to their car, getting in quickly. They both sighed in relief as the rain poured down onto the windshield, not being able to touch them.

"Thank gosh, I was about to get drenched!" George said dramatically.

Dream looked at him, his clothes looking drier and not near as touched by the rain as Dream's shirt.

Dream laughed sarcastically. "Oh shut up, you were hogging my hoodie!"

"No I wasn't, you were!" George protested.

Dream looked at his own clothes and back at George's, comparing them.

"My clothes are wayyy more wet." Dream mused. He ruffled his damp hair.

"Yeah well- whatever." George grumbled.

Dream smiled. "Okay, Gogy."

George giggled.

โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”

As they drove home, the rain lightened and soon stopped.

George groaned. "Of course when we go back home the rain lightens!"

Dream laughed. "Just our luck, eh?"

George smiled for a moment. "Sooo, what do we do now?"

"Hmm, we-"

Dream was interrupted as he heard a ringing from his phone. He picked it up and answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hello, this is emergency services. Is this Clay (last name)?"
