22 Female dormitory

The plan was rather idiot, divide the group of new students into two teams, and they need to steal one of the stamps of the girl's dormitory. If they manage to steal at least one, no matter the team that did it, they will pass the test.

One of the team is led by Liam, which was not the most capable right now, but it was the only one who encouraged this idiocy so the two delinquents decided for him to lead the first team.

But for my misfortune, I was in the second team, led by Aaron Marques, just like Iske he was a minor villain, no, not even that, he was just a guy who used to bother Liam and his friends a lot, but got better later on.

But right now he's an asshole, and I'm on his team, and I can tell that he doesn't like Iske very much, although the reason is unknown for me, in the novel he also had some fights with Iske, all of them because of silly reasons.

After explaining the plan to us, they sent us to the girl's dormitory. Reaching there we saw an immense castle, something much more normal and much more luxurious than the male's dormitory.

How's that fair?

Hiding behind some bushes our team observes the place, and then Aaron said, "We are entering in, use Hide"

As he said that, everyone used the technique called Hide, as the name suggests is a technique that enables an Ascender to completely hide their mana, and become almost invisible to other Ascenders.

Although for low rank Ascenders, you can't use Hide and other techniques or magic at the same time, unless you stop using Hide.

Before I could use Hide, Aaron stopped me and said, "You can use your Innate magic and escape from there, right?"

Knowing where this would lead, I answered, "Yeah, why?"

He faked a smile and answered, "Then we will create a distraction and you steal the stamp, how about it?"

In the novel it's said that Iske was caught in the girl's dormitory on the first day, and I guess I know the reason for it, this guy Aaron he will leave me there, and I'll get caught. 

Although going according to the novel right now will be better for me I guess, I won't suffer much from getting caught, just some supplementary classes and some labeling me as a pervert, but nothing too much. Although changing that I don't think it will change much in the plot.

In moments like this I remember about those time travel movies that everything goes incredibly wrong if you change a single thing, well whatever it happens, let's just go with the flow.

Although it makes me wonder, how was Iske caught? His magic is very useful for this kind of situation, he could leave easily.

"Fine by me" I answered.

Aaron smiled with malice and then he gave me a small dagger and said, "Mark it"

I looked at him with an even expression, then took the dagger and used my magic in it, marking the dagger.

"Good" then he gestured for the rest of the team who went to infiltrate the girl's dormitory.

After a few minutes, chaos started, an alarm sounded and then Aaron took the opportunity and threw the dagger through one of the windows, without breaking the glass.

That's his innate magic, he can make things go through surfaces and other things, a very overpowered thing, he usually uses it to go through defenses, which basically negates any shield or armor his enemy is using.

He looked at me and said, "Your turn"

I didn't answered him and said, "Exchange"

I switched places with the dagger and ended up inside the dormitory, I immediately used Hide and started wandering through the place searching for those stamps, and fortunately I found it easily. All the stamps were on a board in the main hall, fortunately for me there wasn't anyone there.

The girls must be dealing with Liam and Aaron's team, I took the opportunity and grabbed one of the stamps and when I was about to leave the place, a girl saw me, she shouted and then I started sensing many presences coming to the main hall.

I immediately deactivated Hide and sprinted away as I tried using exchange once again, but it was not working, and I knew exactly why.

My mark vanished… Aaron, he probably erased my mark, so that's what happened, as I couldn't escape the place easily I started running through the big numbers of corridors turning every corner I could find, it was so many different corners that I was starting to get dizzy.

And it was bound to happen, since I didn't know where I was running towards, I reached a dead end corridor, I could feel the girl's presence in the distance almost reaching me. I'm about to get caught.

Well, at least the plot will go the same, I'll be called a pervert for some time, but it won't matter much I guess. Although it will be very embarrassing.

Dear author, couldn't you have chosen any other character for me?

Suddenly my thoughts were interrupted when a door on my side was opened and a girl appeared from it.

"God, who turned on this damn alarm?" she asked, but stopped on her tracks once she saw me.

I looked at her, and without a doubt, she was one of the most beautiful people I've ever met. Her long, snow-white hair had a few black highlights, complementing her fair complexion. Her eyes resembled the blue sky.

As she saw me she smiled and said, "It seems we have a pervert here"
