1 Black Dreams
ALONE,
FEAR,
PAIN,
ABANDONED.
Is this how they feel, when we "visit" them?
The wounds hurt again. Not as much as that word but they still hurt. Gods, it feels like someone put a red hot iron to my back. No. Not to my back, the pain was there from a whip and a knife. The burning was coming from my mouth. I opened my eyes, not out of curiosity, but out of pain. I saw a blonde femine figure, she had black eyes with green hearts for pupils, and yellow triangles all over her skin, not in a weird way but they seemed to eccentutate her already voulumus curves. if you could ignore those she was beautiful, she wore a skin-tight black silk dress. She spoke,
"while you were asleep I sewed your mouth shut again. Dont bother cutting it again with those nails of yours."
She used her equily long and sharp black claws to geasture at my red ones,
"You wont be able to once im done with you, Daughter."
I attemped to scream.
She shouted
"ZAL! Tighten the chains on your sister and hold her head back!"
she pulled a red hot iron from its bed of coals, testing its weight in her claw.
" Del, Del?"
my monstrous brother was.. shaking me?
"DEALER?!"
I woke up. Naked. the person shaking me was in fact not Zal, but my husband Orian, his black hair and wolf ears made him look like a devil in the dim light, an extraordinarly handsome devil mind you, with red percing eyes that...
"Oh gods."
He was worried, his eyes were worried.
"it was that dream again wasnt it?"
I nodded. grasping at my chest with my red claw-like fingers, two crosscuting scars no breast, I was me, male married and, covered in scars.
my love spoke again rubbing my spine,
"I know what this nightmare is like for you Del.., I just think we should tell your sis-"
"No."
I cut him off.
" C'mon babe, she already knows what happed in that dungeon. why not just tell her about this?"
"I just, want to keep her safe, she has enough worries without adding me to her list."
"But your already on her list of worries, your'e her twin."
I sigh he makes a convincing point.
There's a knock on the door.
"Papa, Daddy?"
It was Star. we both sat up immediately and look down at our nakedness.
"Del could you?"
thats all Orian had to say. I snap my fingers and Orian is suddinly wearing pink pajama bottems with yellow ducks, and I a red and black plad button up.
"Pink? Really?"
he frowns,
" And why do you have a shirt and I dont?"
I shrug and say inocently,
"I just like seeing your abs."
I smile innocently, he justs walks over to the bedroom door and opens it giving me a look that says, "I'll kill you later." writen all over it.
I chuckled, he could try.
Orian opened the door, in walked Star. The 8 year old had hair so lightly colord that it was almost white, it had a blondish hue to it giving her yellow highlights. Stars bright blue eyes had tears in them and she had her ears and tail facing downwards.
"I had a nightmare.."
her voice was shaking.
"I c-cant remember what it was about."
I get out of bed and walk over to Star. Being 7,1 and skinny as hell makes it so I have to sit down next to her in order to put my hand on her shoulder in a non-threating manner.
"Can you remember anything from your nightmare?"
I hope she cant, I hope its just a normal nightmare, a horrifying figment of her imagination. I glance at Orian, he seems to be thinking the same thing.
"All I can remember is a demon named Zal."
My X shaped pupils begin to dilate, Zal was in her dream, Not mine but hers. Star had never met Zal before and nobody talks about him or the others unless in hushed tones. She has no clue who he is, hell! She hasnt even seen a photo, so how did he appear in her dreams?
I sigh as I flex my claws into a calming manner and run my fingers through her hair, I hesitate for a moment and begin to speak,
"It's just a nightmare don't worry too much hon' why don't you sleep with us tonight?"
I wait for her to answer.
She nervously stuttered for a moment, and said in response,
"Okay."
I pick her up and place her in between Orian and I, and slowly we drift off to sleep.
