Chapter 1: Drenched In Sweat

It was night time when in New York of America something happened.

In a dark room where a man in his early twenties was sleeping soundly.

He was sleeping so soundly as it looked like he wouldn't even bat an eyelid when the world would collapse.

However, if one would watch him closely, he/she would notice that he was sweating.

There was sweat on his face. He was also shivering a bit.

He suddenly opened his eyes and looked at his sweat filled hands.

He looked at his right and left and when he saw he was in his room, he sighed in relief.

He got off the bed to walk to the bathroom to take a bath. So, that could remove his sweat.

He knew he smelled really bad right now. As he was walking to the bathroom to wash off his sweat and get rid of the smell that covered his body, his head starter hurting.

"Ugh!" He clutched his head at this pain. He was used to pain but this was something else.

It really hurt now.

But he was sure of one thing, he was getting stronger. His soul was getting stronger.

Sensing that his power increased with every second of pain, he didn't do anything to stop his pain.

He just kept enduring pain for the sake of power.

As the saying goes, "No pain, no gain!"

He kept enduring pain until it was unbearable but as it was starting to feel like his head will explode due to pain, the pain subsided in a second.

He released his head after the headache subsided.

He then started walking toward the bathroom.

He walked with steady steps.

He entered the bathroom and took off his clothes that were now wet with sweat.

"Hahh, all my clothes are wet." Levi spoke as he looked at his now sweat drenched clothes.

He put them in the empty bucket just outside the shower.

He entered the shower and turned on the shower.

He took bath with calm and peace.

The normal temperature of the water gave him a good feeling. Like he was in spring enjoying the cool breeze.

"Bathing feels good." He spoke with a smile and ran his hand on the hair and neck.

As he put his hand on his neck, he saw a bite on his right side of neck.

He put his finger on this bite to confirm it.

He frowned at it. He never remembered that he was bitten.

He went outside the shower and stopped in front of the mirror of bathroom.

He saw his reflection in the mirror. He saw his wet black hair with voilet eyes. His hair now covered a part of his face but it couldn't stop his beauty from showing itself.

He bent his neck a bit and saw a bite on his neck.

There were two dots on his neck.

"What the actual shit....."

Vampire? No, he didn't feel like it.

Is this....?

However, before he could think anything more, the world spun and he felt like he was throw.

He stumbled on his foot. He felt difficulty in even standing.

He vision changed from voilet color to normal.

This happened for a good five minutes. At the end, he was good on his feet again.

He again looked at his reflection and saw that he still had voilet eyes but this time, his eyes shone. He didn't know what it was.

As he was seeing his reflection in the mirror, he saw that the mirror disappeared and he could see beyond the wall.

He closed his eyes and opened it again. He looked at the mirror and now, it was normal.

"What t-?" He could not even full his sentence when he felt sleepy.

He felt like he hadn't slept for a while week.

Yawn!

He yawned and exited the bathroom.

He walked slowly and soon reached his bed.

"I don't know what is happening but I will know soon. I hope so....." He laid on the bed and entered the world of dreams.
