Prologue

Manila, Philippines

8/20/2050

"Dina, are you ready?"

"Yeah.."

That was my last talk with Alex, my husband, before he perished at the hands of the Great End, an unknown figure shrouded in black smoke who is about to destroy the planet. My husband and I attempted but failed terribly to avert the Great End. As I glanced at him, he was lying on the ground with a hole in his chest.

"Dina!" Someone yelled at Dina's back.

Dina looked at her back to see who just yelled at her. After taking a look at her back, she couldn't see the guy who yelled at her properly. Dina's eyes are blurry because of the tears in her eyes, so she rubs them with her hands, and after that, she saw a girl holding a sword who was looking at her with a worried face.

"Is that you Tia?" Dina asked to the girl.

"Yes, Dina it's me.." The girl responded as she quickly approached Dina.

"Tia.. Didn't i say to you to stay on the evacuation center.. Why you come here.. It's dangerous.." Dina slowly said.

"I'm here to help you Dina.." Tia replied.

"No.. Tia, It's impossible to win a fight with the Great End, this is it Tia, the end of the humanity.." Dina said to Tia.

"...No Dina, it's still not the end! We still can win this if we all unite together. That's why i bring all of them here." Tia said to Dina, trying to give Dina a hope.

"...Who?" Dina quickly asked.

"Them." Tia replied as she pointed at the people on her back.

There are a large number of people standing on her back; all are wearing their respective guild uniforms, holding a weapon, and ready to fight the Great End. After Dina saw them standing there with determination roaring in their eyes, her hope quickly came back.

"With this amount of people who wanted to beat the Great End, maybe we can actually win this fight." She mumbled to herself.

When Dina's determination finally came back, she nodded at Tia, grabbed the sword with a crescent hilt on the ground, and put it on the scabbard on her waist. She then took a look at her husband, Alex, and said, "I will take revenge for you, Alex." After that, Dina looked at the horizon where the Great End was standing, who was waiting for Dina's next move.

"Follow my lead!" Dina yelled at everyone.

She then ran toward the Great End, who was watching the people who approached him, who were filled with determination in their eyes. The Great End just stared at them coldly until it raised its arm and pointed it at the people in the vicinity. It then clenched its hand, summoning a black hole in front of the people.

Some got eaten by the black hole the Great End summoned, but the warriors didn't stop; they continued running toward the Great End's position. And when they finally got closer to him, they all attacked him simultaneously, attacking him with swords and magic. But after all of that, nothing has worked.

After all of their attacks, the Great End was still standing; they were all tired; they gave all of their strength on every attack they did, and because of that, everyone thought it was enough to bring him down, but the Great End didn't even feel anything because it felt nothing.

The Great End then lifted its arm in the sky, creating a sword out of the smoke around its body, and struck the ground, producing a strong earthquake and forcing the buildings around them to collapse. The large debris was falling on the people, so they all retreated back for safety.

But the Great End chased them, striking them down one by one using its sword. As they retreated, Dina decided to fight the Great End, who were chasing them down, allowing her comrades to fall back to safety. Dina attacked the Great End while evading the falling debris around them as they fought.

As Dina kept striking the Great End, her anger increased with every strike. She wanted revenge for her husband, so she kept attacking the Great End endlessly until the debris stopped falling. And when the debris stopped falling to the ground, Dina's allies all appeared out of nowhere to assist Dina in her fight.

They all jumped at the Great End to immobilize it, allowing Dina to strike it without the Great End blocking her attack. And when that happened, Dina quickly stabbed the Great End in the heart, but she didn't hit the Great End because the Great End was in the air, hovering above them. It then pointed at Dina and her allies position and fired a powerful beam of light right on their heads, killing them all in just one shot. The said beam of light then went through the ground and pierced through the planet.

"Where am i?" Dina asked to herself after seeing the area around her was just all pure white when she open her eyes.

"Oh right.. I must be dead now, then this must be heaven.." She said to herself after remembering what happened back on Manila.

Dina stares at the ground, and after a while, tears fall down like rain. Dina is crying. Why is this all happening?" She asked herself. Dina doesn't want to accept this broken reality. She asked herself again and again, "How did this all happen?"" she continued to ask herself. Her crying stopped when suddenly a woman appeared.

"Who are you?" Dina asked the mysterious woman.

The mysterious woman open its mouth and slowly said, "I... Am... Krona.. the guardian.. of.. time.."

"And why are you here? Do you need something from me?" Dina quickly asked to the mysterious woman.

"The King... want me... to pick and send a.. human.... back on when it all began.... and your that human... that i want to send back..." The woman slowly responded.

"Back to when it all began?" Dina asked.

"Back... to... when the Great End was still a kid... back to when the... Great.. End... can still.... be killed.... so do... you.... wanna.. go back.... in.... time?" The mysterious woman asked to Dina.

"You.... must...quickly....answer...the question!...while... the...King... was currently.. holding off... the Great End!!" The mysterious woman exclaimed.

Without hesitation, Dina answered.

"Yes."
