1 Revenge of the Nerd

Carson was what you would a battle junkie. He lived with his father alone since his mother ran off when he was a child to follow a man much more successful than his father who had just been fired. Years later and he was still unemployed but now he was also an alcoholic. Carson wandered through life just taking it all in. Being bullied day in and day out. He would head off to school and be bullied there only to head home to face his father's drunk incoherent yelling and beatings. But one day Carson had taken it all and had lashed out at his bullies at school. That day was the day that Carson would remember forever. His fist curled perfectly to give his chief bully a fat kid named Jeremy the perfect uppercut to send him sprawling onto the ground. He made quick work of the other kids that were there as well. Those quick seconds of what was Carson's first fight changed his life. He would never forget the feeling of adrenaline pumping through his body as he moved as if he was born to do so his heart beating perfectly in tune with his lungs to give him the fuel he needed and his body in perfect sync with his mind. It gave him the feeling as if he was a god. Everything in that space was his to control and he used it to his utmost advantage to absolutely wipe the floor with those kids. He would soon go on to pick fights with anybody and everybody eager to taste that feeling of victory as he destroyed his opponents. As he grew so did his opponents. It started with middle school bullies to high school bullies to Gangbangers to any martial school that gained renown. Carson devoured them all whole and didn't even spit out their bones. Every fight he got into only made him stronger. He was a sponge soaking in all their knowledge. Every martial art he fought against only made him stronger after he learnt their techniques. It was only when he reached the age of 16 that Carson realized that what made some of the greatest warriors in history weren't their martial skills but it was their skill on the battlefield.

Their ability to read a battlefield as if paper to create tactics and strategies to take down thousands at a time. So he started to read The Art of War followed by The Prince followed by The 33 Strategies of War and so on and so forth. Just as with martial arts Carson proved a quick study in the art of war and political machinations. It was as if Carson was preparing himself for life besides his own. War and Martial Arts were the only things that Carson could ever truly get into it filled him with joy to read about these great battles of history to hear about the great duels of the past. But it had always filled Carson with sorrow that he wasn't born in a time where he could become a great warrior and a great general. For he was born in the 21st century and there were no more great wars for him to fight. If only he was given a chance he was sure that he could become someone great. Great enough to rival Napoleon, Alexander The Great, Ghengis Khan and Qin Shi Huang or even greater.

It was during one of those times that Carson was lamenting his cruel fate that he died. He was simply walking down the street thinking about how great a warlord he could become if he was born in ancient times when a black sedan had smashed into him and flattened him into a pancake. For all Carson's Martial Skill he couldn't fight against a speeding car. As Carson was dying he saw who was driving. It was a chubby little kid named Josh that Carson had beat up a couple days ago. He was bragging and taunting right to Carsons face that his father was some big companys CEO and that he had enough money to ruin his life if Carson didn't become his follower so Carson gave him a couple punches to teach him a lesson. Little did Carson know that this little fucker would be driven so insane by that beating he would steal someone's car and fucking drive it into him. If Carson had known about this he would have beaten him up even more just for wasting his fucking time and waiting a couple days later to come and hit him. What a waste of fucking space was the only thought racing through Carson's mind as his heart stopped.
