"Ughh...." I say as I woke up.

When my vision cleared, I found myself inside a cafeteria. A school cafeteria as it seemed. And as for me, I was wearing a school uniform, which was quite dirty to begin with.

But.. How? I thought I died in that accident. When my potato gaming setup blew up because I forcefully booted up a heavy game. I remember the flame burning on my skin, and the feeling of my life leaving my body.

And now I am here. I don't know how...

I saw a game - like window appear in front of me. And it had my name and age on it. Although I was confused, i decided to follow along and pressed the continue button.

However when I clicked it, the window disappeared. And I found myself standing along and staring randomly at a wall.

Remembering the situation, I decided to look around the place. It was... Empty. The whole school was empty. The classrooms, the hallways, the bathrooms. Not only empty, it looked like the crowd in these places rushed out in panic, considering the broken doors and thrown around stuff.

I left the school and started walking outside. But still, I could not find a single human. Not even an animal. It was just me.

Then suddenly, a helicopter flew above me. I shouted so that they notice me, but alas. That was in vain, as the helicopter zapped away in speed.

Shocking. In a place like this, a helicopter hurries before me. I could just sit and think about why this place feels so wrong, but rather than wasting my time pondering the present, I just continued my search for someone in this distress.

Walking around, I found many things and nothing at the same time. There were abandoned, messy houses. Stores with items, but no one to look for it. I grabbed a packet of chips to keep myself from hunger during the search.

The streets were empty too. There were some vehicles. Few were usable, but the majority were either broken or burned.

And the dark atmosphere with the chilly wind just added to the scene. The leaves of the trees were waving with the wind, and the windows were making noise by shutting and opening itself. Making all this look like a horror movie.

Just when I was about to panic, I found a person at the entrance of a forest. From the clothes, he looked like a male. He was wandering around, maybe looking for someone just like I was. Although he was walking abnormally, I ignored it out of the surprise to actually find someone. I thought I was gonna spend the whole time alone.

"Hey!" I shouted to him.

He stopped, then looked at me. Slowly, he started walking towards me.

I was relieved! Finally, after roaming aimlessly for like an hour, I found someone.

But then... That guy started sprinting. He was running as fast as he could. For as happy I was to find someone, I was rather a bit worried whether this person might be safe to accompany.

As he reached nearer, I noticed something was off.

Wait... That's not a man... He had his face absent from jaw below and his skin was tinted with green. There was blood stain on his torn clothes. His left arm was missing. And he wasn't running in a humane manner. No... That's not a human....

That's a zombie!
