Sickness and Search for a Doctor

*Flashback*

A ten years old girl was running down the stairs. She was wearing a simple white, off shoulder dress that comes to her knees. It's cuffs and collar had also a white fur. She had white pom pom earrings that its sophisticated with golds on the opposite end of the pompom along with a golden necklace. Her white hair that golden strands inside them was made milkmaid bun and the bells on her white shoes were ringing with every step of her. When she finally came down to the empty hallway, she moved towards to big door and push the heavy doors with her little body as she smiled to her new shinny nails.

When she get in the room and closed the door, she turned to the big bed in the middle of the room. She start to run over there with a huge smile on her face and her happiness was even reaching to her shinny ocean blue eyes ''Mom!'' she yelled towards to woman, who sleeps in the bed that surrounded with tulles. It was a huge room that worthy for a Queen. The windows, to the big and peaceful terrace that also had a stairs that goes down to the huge and beautiful garden behind the castl, was a little open. The tulles around the bed was waving a little with the wind that comes from outside.

Mari D. Anne was used to be surrounded with the maids and nurses but as the time fly, she want all of them to gone and only be with her children. She gave all of herself to them. Her little daughter however, couldnt let her mother without any thretment and she asked her father to learn some medical skills as to take care of her mother, even if its a little bit and unimportant, she wanted to be there for her mother that she loved so much. Grant D. Luca had an amused face at his little daughter's wish. He loved his wife, as much as a man like him could have, even though that only a couple of numbered person would know this, and when the child Anne called a miracle suddenly came to him with this wish, he gave her all of Anne's old nurses and doctor to teach her, he wanted to see that what his little daugher could do

Little girl come close to her mother as to wake her up and climb the bed. ''Mom, wake up!'' with her big shinny smile. They would supposed to be go outside, to the garden today. Anne would always sing songs and read books under her favorite tree and little Luna always loved to watch and listen to her. She reach out her hand to hold her mothers but the moment she touched her, all of her world stopped. With the coldness she felt, she was also frozen. Her world lost all of its color as she stood there with a blank face and look at her beautiful mother's peaceful sleepy face with a little visible smile on it.

After moments later, a voice start to echo in the castle. A voice that made the little prince to go run as he left everything behind and even the king himself was going towards to the voice with his fastest state as he heard where that voice was coming from.

That day, everyone in the castle was send outside and a silence blanket covered the country as the king closed himself in his room and the children mourn for their mother while holding onto eachother.

At night, rain start to fall from sky heavily just after a voice start to sing a song. (Tenkuu Ni Mau Tori Yo. The song she sing in Nami's island) A song that everyone heard in the silent blanket but no one in the country except two people understand it. Golden haired man and boy knew what this song meant as the little girl sing a song for the first time in her life.

*Flashback End*

It was a couple of hour now that they were sailing away from Little Garden. Nami was gone to their room to rest about almost an hour ago. Luffy was eating something while talking with Usopp about fishing. Sanji was preparing something to drink for Vivi and Carue and some dessert for Luna to regain her energy since Zoro and Luna was trainning with their swords. About a couple of minutes later that Nami gone to their room, Zoro and Luna was start to do some trainning but..

''You're not focusing... Whats wrong?'' Zoro asked with a frown after their swords clashed and pull back. Luna also frown at this. He was right in the end, her mind was full of Nami. She hummed for second as she start to sheathed her katana ''It's Nami. There was something...'' she turned her back with a thoughtful face and look at Vivi ''Vivi, can you look out to the log for a while? I'm going to check something!'' as she throw the eternal pose to her, which she caught it like her life depend on it, it was in a way though...

''Sure!'' Vivi said with a big smile as she look at Luna, who goes to their room with a frowned face, all the while leaving behind a damn confused Zoro, who's still standing there while holding his unsheathed katana.

When Luna get in the room and closed the door, she immediately run towards to Nami to check on her. She remembered that Nami was get sick but she didnt remember what was wrong with her, she didnt pay much of an attention in her previous life. As she put a thermometer in her mouth, she start to look over her body and found something look like a rush on her stomach. As she look at the thermometer she made a frowned face, Nami's temperature was forty degrees and it was just rising. There was no way she could such a high fever unless she's fighting with an infection, so she run towards her bookshelf and start to look over the blue book but she throw it away moments later with a rather frustrated face. She took a key chain with three keys hanging from her sash, that she stuck in it, and took the light brown chest under from her bed that she put besides other two chest.

Inside of the chest was full of notebooks with almost every color. She search for a minute until she find a light blue notebook that a red medical symbol on it and start to turn the pages while traveling her eyes in a very fast pace. She knew they will have to go to look for a doctor and finally take Chopper with them too but if there is even a little chance to make Nami feel less pain, she would use all of her knowledge.

Nami was woke up with heat she felt and little voices she heard and saw Luna looking at the notebook in her hands intensely. There was a big book that thrown away on the floor and one of her chests was open that filled with other notebooks. ''What are you doing?'' She asked, her voice was somehow low and cracked.

''You're sick'' Luna said as she keep read the page she was looking at it with a frown

''It must be because of the climate change. I'll be okay with a good rest'' Nami said as she start to sit, knowing that she was sick too. Luna turned her head with her frowned face ''No you wont, its not about climate change.'' She said bluntly just before look at the notebook again ''We need to find a doctor, immediately.'' This time Nami frowns after hearing this. ''No, we dont have time for that''

Luna turned to her with a face that says 'the hell are you saying?' causing Nami to add ''There's a newspaper on top of my desk...'' Luna walked towards there and took the newspaper. As she was reading it, Nami talked again ''That paper was from three days ago. We have continue to go to the Alabasta. I'll get better just fine on my own even without se-'' before she could continue, Luna throw the newspaper to the floor, much to Nami's shock, and look at Nami dead in the eye

''Look at your stomach''

Nami made a confuse face at this ''My stomach?'' as she look at it she saw something looked like a rush and look at Luna again ''So what? A bug bite me while we were in the Little Garden, its nothing.'' with a shrug while closing her stomach and made an angry face ''Why the hell did you even throw the paper? Listen to me, we ha-''

Luna cut her again as she yell at her ''Its not nothing! It's a bug bite from a prehistoric island and its deadly! You're dying you idiot!''

Nami blinked at this for a moment, her eyes got widen as she stayed silent a couple of minutes but then she yelled back ''I'm not dying! and we can find a doctor in Alabasta if we still need one!'' with her cracked voice.

''We dont even know if Alabasta has a doctor that can cure a damn prehistoric disease! There is still at least one week to go there and you wont survive that long!'' Luna yelled back at Nami

''Its just one week, I'll be fine!'' Nami also yelled again as she keep on her stubborn state. Alabasta was in a bad shape and they needed to get Vivi there as soon as possible like they promised. She was sure that she will be okay.

''You have only five days before you die! We cant even get there in five days without you anyway!'' Luna yelled too as she go towards Nami ''You cant even stand on your on feet, just lay down!'' as she push Nami but she hold Luna's wrist as to want her to let her go and stand.

''We need to get Viv-'' much to Nami's irrittion, Luna cut her again. ''You think Vivi would be happy to go back to her home just a couple of days early while knowing that, that means sacrificing you?!'' Luna asked in outraged. She didnt care about the people she doesnt even know about unlike Nami. She knew they promised to Vivi and wanted to help her too but it was different. They would keep their promise but Nami was coming first in this situation.

''What are you two talking about?'' Vivi asked with a shocked face

''Nami's dying?!'' Luffy, Usopp and Sanji, who had tears also asked as they all were standing on the door and looking at the two of them.

Unknown to them, while they were living their heated argument, everyone on the ship were heard their yellings. Vivi, lending the eternal pose to Zoro, go along with Carue, Luffy, Usopp and Sanji to look whats going on. Usopp was saying that there was no way Luna and Nami would seriously fight as he was trying to make ease worried Vivi along with himself. Luffy and Sanji were also surprised that they were suddenly yelling at each other like this while Zoro's frowning, wondering whats going on as he sit on the railing and look up to the clouds. They were opened the door the moment Luna was yelling that Nami had five days as they saw red faced Nami that sweating a lot with an angry face and Luna that holding some notebook in her hand and looking at Nami with an angry face as well.

Both of them turned to the voices they heard while blinking, since they didnt waiting this, they were too much into their yellings. Luna let go Nami as Nami also let a sigh while sitting on her bed ''I'm not dying, I'm fine'' at the same time that Luna said ''She's dying'' both of them look at each other with an irritated faces while others come inside too. ''Nami-san!'' Vivi start to go towards Nami with a worried face

''Vivi, look at the newspaper..'' Nami said with her voice that come out more like a whisper now. Vivi took the newspaper from the floor and read it with her shocked and fearful face ''Wha-!?'' Luffy, Sanji and Usopp look at her as they asked whats wrong ''That cant be... 300,000 soldiers of the royal armed forces switched sides to join the rebels!? Orginally, the 600 thousand strong royal armed forces could contain the rebels who were only 400,000 strong... but now the situation is completely opposite!'' Vivi said, as she fell on her knees on the floor with newspaper in her hands ''If I can't stop this, then its over for the kingdom of Alabasta..! It will be taken over by Crocodile! Its not good enough to just return alive anymore.. If I cant get back soon enough, then a million of my people will be killing each other for no good reason'' they were all looking at her while she was holding the paper on her face

''There's a million people there!?'' Usopp asked with a shock while Sanji look at her with a worry ''That's quite the burden..''

''With that, the situation in Alabasta has entered its most critical phase...'' Nami said before turning to Vivi ''That was the paper from three days ago. Sorry for not showing it to you until now. I didnt want to worry you any further since we were already sailing as fast as we could.'' Nami then turned to Luffy ''Understand, Lufy?'' she asked, however Luffy turned to Luna, who was watching Nami with a frowned face. She could understand her, yes, but she was still angry at her nonetheless.

''Whats wrong with her?'' Luffy asked with folded arms as he turned to Luna, causing everyone to turn to her too. Luna look at Luffy, there was worry in her eyes while all the anger is gone now ''She is biten by a bug kind called Kestia. It's bite is carrying a deadly bacteria and her temperature is already forty degrees ''

''Deadly?!'' Sanji yelled making all of them panicking at the thought of Nami is really dying

''There should be doctors in Alabasta, right?!'' Usopp asked but before Vivi could say anything ''We wont be reaching to Alabasta before at least a week.'' Luna said before she look at her notebook ''Keastia can inflict fevers of up to 40 °C, causing myocarditis, arteritis and encephalitis that painfully kills victims in five days if its left untreated...'' She had a worry and serious mixed face as she read the opened page

Not understanding anything but Nami will die after five days later because of a disease ''Cant you do anything, Luna?'' Usopp asked with a very worried but hopeful eyes while others also look at her with the same eyes too ''No... '' she let a tired sigh as she felt useless that there was nothing she could do in this situation, they needed a real doctor for this ''I dont know how to make a proper antibiotics for it and even if I knew, we most surely dont have any medical herbs we need anyway'' She then look at Luffy ''We need a doctor, a real one''

''No, that old thermometer's broken. There's no way a person would have a fever of fourty degrees anyway, so I'm sure Luna's wrong. I'll get better on my own even without seeing a doctor. In any case, we'll have to continue to head for Alabasta as planned for now.'' Nami said after she heard everything and tried to get up but Luna stopped her again while pushing her to the bed and make her lay down as she start to scold her

Usopp and Sanji looked conflicted as they knew that Luna wasnt wrong and Nami was putting up a tough in front of them, one look was enough to say that she looks bad. Luffy blankly look at Nami and Luna, he knew that whatever Nami says, if Luna says that she's dying then she was dying. Luna wouldnt say something like this if she wasnt sure of it. Luffy left a sigh as he closed his eyes while still standing with folded arms ''We'll get you to a doctor.'' with a very serious face and voice that makes no room for any opposed idea, making them look at him with a slightly shocked faces for a moment as they were not used to Luffy's this serious side

''Wha..?!'' Nami, as she look at Luffy with shock ''I told you I'm fine, dont listen to her!'' she yelled but Luffy didnt even budge from it

''Nami, I know this is for Vivi's sake and all but you really need t-'' Sanji start to say but was cut off by Nami. After that, this time Usopp start to say ''Nami, I also think you oughta-''

''Shut up!'' Nami yelled with her weakened state causing them to frown with worry

Vivi, who was in her own world and thinking until now ''I have request to ask all of you'' as she look up to them ''I know that its not my place to make such demands since you've already let me on this boat and all but with the emerging crisis in my country, I want to go there as soon as possible. Not even a single moment can be spared anymore! Thats why, I ask for this ship to head for Alabasta at the fastest speed!''

All four of them were looking at her blank faces but with disappointment clear eyes while Nami's smiling ''Of course! Just like we promised!'' with her weak voice and her eyes that clearly begging to close and rest.

Before any of them can say anything ''But first, we need to find an island with a doctor immediately. We have to see to it that Nami gets better as fast as possible and then head for Alabasta!'' Vivi start then turned to Nami with a smile ''That'll be the only way, we need you for this ship can sail at the fastest speed, right!?''

Luffy smiled ''Right! Cant get any faster than that!''

''You sure? Arent you worried about the lives of million Alabastans, being a princess and all?'' Usopp asked with a cool looking he put on but he was clearly worried about Nami

''Exactly! Thats why we need to get Nami to a doctor as quickly as possible!'' Vivi then look at the floor for a moment with a little smile ''Luna-san was right in the end, I cant risk Nami-san's health just to get home a little early..'' Sanji also smiled while saying that he fallen for Vivi again and of course Luna was always right. Zoro was also listening their talks from opened door with a smirk. Vivi then turned to Nami ''I'm sorry making you worry but please dont overexert yourself and rest Nami!''

Nami made a relaxed smile after she heard Vivi and let herself to the sleep after finally her worries over Vivi's gone ''Sorry.. Vivi..'' as she fall sleep. Luna placed her hand on Nami's forehead, checking her again while Sanji, Usopp and Luffy talking about the foods that might make Nami feel good. Luna then blinked and slowly turned to them ''Wait a minute... If you're all here, who is making sure we stay on course?'' she asked slowly like as to make sure

''Mr Bushido's taking care of it'' Vivi inocently said causing Luna to sigh ''I can understand Vivi, since she doesnt even know about it but,'' she then turned to Luffy, Usopp and Sanji with an angry face ''You left the guy who gets lost even on the straight road to steer the ship?!'' she yelled and pointed to the door ''Go and fix this now, you idiots!'' causing them to run off with a scared faces or happy and hearted eyes in Sanji's case. Luna let a sigh as Vivi said sorry and Luna dismissed it while saying that its okay and not her fault. After minutes later the ship took a sharp turn, causing Luna and Vivi to hold Nami for her not to fall from bed.

''It seems we're back on course'' Vivi said as she straighten up along with Luna ''yeah'' Luna said slowly and lowly before she start to walk outside while Vivi looking at Nami. ''Usopp, can you bring some cold sea water?'' Luna asked once she get out from their room, cutting off the boys that yelling at some cyclone and blaming Zoro for they were almost go in to that. After hearing Luna, Usopp run off to bring some water while others yelling with determination to go and find a doctor.

Ignoring the needle pointing to Alabasta, the ship's now on the lookout for a doctor, for a day now. It was a calm morning. Sanji was shovelling the snow that start at the night and Zoro was on the crowns nest and looking out while Luffy and Usopp also looking around. Luna get out from their room while Vivi and Carue stayed inside to look over to Nami. She was still wearing the same things she was wearing on Little Garden but she had some socks this time with the snowing weather. Her left sock was covering her all leg, it was blue and white vertical striped while her right one was coming just over her knee with just blue color. She was also now wearing a dark blue, loose triangle poncho as she also holding a coat and a scarf in her hands.

''Luffy!'' he turned to look at Luna after she call for him ''Come here and put these on, its cold!'' as she hold up the coat and the scarf. Luffy go towards her with a big smile on his face while saying thanks as he was wearing the coat. ''The water is calm.. We must be getting close to a winter island'' Luna said with a thoughtful face while looking around as she was wrapping the scarf around Luffy's neck. ''Winter island?!'' Luffy's eyes lit up with excitement as he was looking at Luna

''Whats winter island?'' Usopp asked with a confuse just the time Luna finished the wrapping the scarf and turned to him to explain. ''There are four climatic types of islands in the Grand Line, Winter Islands, Summer Islands, Spring Islands, and Autumn Islands. Each of these islands have a climate similar to their namesake seasons. Still there can always be exceptions to this and we can go an islands with an unknown climates any moment too''

''Woow'' Usopp said in awe at the thought of so many different islands while Luffy was still excited about a winter island ''How do you know that we're close to a winter island? Because its snowing?'' Usopp asked after getting over his awe with a tilted head, makes Luna to sigh ''No way its just that..'' she then start to explain, getting into her educator mode again ''The climatic type of an island is reflected upon the sea which surrounds the island itself. So, when sailing through the Grand Line the weather becomes stable, then there is most likely an island in proximity.'' She said as she look around, causing them to look too. Right, the water was calm...

Sanji after saying how smart Luna is with his usual attitude, let a puff from his cigarette ''So is that why the Grand Line has these insane and unpredictable weather patters..? With these different islands one after another the sea between them go crazy..'' with a thoughtful face as he looking at the sky while letting out another smoke

''Hmm, you can say that but, it still doesnt explain half of the shit that happens in this place'' Luna said with a big smile while she go towards Sanji, leaving behind an over excited Luffy and Usopp, who talks about winter islands. ''Hey Sanji, can you cook this? Do we have necessary ingredients?'' Luna asked as she come in front of Sanji and extend the little paper in her hand to him. ''I will cook anything for you, Luna-chan!'' Sanji yelled with his hearted eyes as he took the paper, getting Luffy's attention and causing him to start to come over there with the word of the cook.

''Its for Nami. It wont cure her but it could help her to sleep at more ease at least'' Luna said just before she start to sweat when she saw Sanji, who had tears in his eyes ''Our kind goddess, I will cook it right away!'' while running off to the kitchen with pink aura around him, causing Luna to sigh ''Doesnt he ever get tired of it?'' making Zoro to smirk ''Just ignore it'' as he keep looking out. Luffy had a soft smile before they all start to keep looking out for an island or a doctor in Luffy's case.

After for a little while later they look around and talk, they heard Zoro ''Hey!'' getting the attention all three of them as they look up to Zoro, who is covered in snow ''Uhh... Do you guys think a person could stand on top an ocean?'' makes them blink

''The heck are you asking, Zoro?'' Usopp asked with a confuse

Zoro was still looking through with his binoculars ''You know.. How do you explain that?'' causing them to turn and look at what he is looking, only to see a man standing on the water directly in front of them. They were all loking at the man with silence until Usopp break it. ''Thats new...'' with a stunned voice and face. The man was tall with wavy lips and sad expression, wearing a green blue costume. As the ship keep approach towards the man ''Is that even possible, standing on the water?'' Usopp asks with a tilted head

''In other universe where ninjas lived in, can compressed energy to their feet with glowing blue color and they can even run on the water...'' Luna said with a very serious face as she look at the man, causing Zoro and Usopp to sweatdrop at her while Luffy had stars in his eyes

''Thats so cool! Can we go there?'' he asked to Luna with exciment, causing Luna to think for a moment

''Hmm, maybe after you become the Pirate King, we can search for a way..'' making Luffy to become more excited as well as Usopp and Zoro made a weird face. 'An idiot and a weirdo...' Zoro thought as he look at Luffy and Luna while shaking his head. ''But that man is not a ninja and we're not in other universe so, there is three explanation to this that I can think of it...'' Luna keep going. They turned to her, waiting for what is it

''One, we're hallucinating'' causing them to nod a little, might be possible ''Two, we're dead with the cold weather or something else and he is the man, who going to guide us to the heavens..'' making Zoro to swetdrop again while scaring the hell out of Usopp and make Luffy excited again ''Three, there is something under his feet that we dont see..'' she finished with her not gone serious face all the while. They were now all looking at the man with a serious faces as the ship come to stop just in front of the man. They were thinking the three explanation Luna made, they thought the number one could be possible in the end..

At least, until the man talk ''Quite cold today, isnt it?'' he comment, made them stay silent for a bit.

''Y-yeah, in fact, its freezing today..'' Usopp break the silence as he clutched on his blanket more firmly, praying to someone 'not the second one! Please not the second one!' in his mind

''Is that so?'' the man asked and they continue to look at each other while Luffy, Luna and Zoro watch silently.

''So, how ar-'' Usopp finally speak again but he's interruptted by the extremely big thing that coming from underwater where the man was standing. While Luffy was questioning what's that thing, Usopp was yelling ''So it was number three?!'' and Zoro was looking at it while questioning that if it's a ship.

''Its a submarine'' Luna said as she look at the giant metal plates around it, with a star like pattern. As the plates completly lowered themselves a pirate flag was raised from something looked like the main mast. There was a giant hippo wearing a crown as the ships bow and hundreds of men on board. The jolly roger was a skull with a metallic jaw licking its own lips and wearing a big crown.

''Oh crap, a pirate ship?!'' Usopp with a very scared face

''Mahahaha! Surprised!? Has my submersible ambush-ship 'Tin Can King' left you speechless!?'' asked some voice from the ship, sounding very sarcastic, causing Luna to raised an eyebrown. She had seen bigger ships but it was still impressing to see one like this in the paradise. Some of the men jump onboard the Merry and threaten to shot as they hold a gun point at the four of them. Only Usopp was looking scared though. After that, two man also show up with the sad faced man before. One of them was wearing an orange cloak, with a large afro on his head and three small on his beard. The last one was a heavy, overweight man with a light violet hair. He had a cylinder shaped jaw that made of tin plates, wearing a hooded cape along with a tin plate armor. He was just standing there, lookig bored as he chew some sword.

Suddenly, the door of the Merry's kitchen swung open and Sanji dash out. ''Whats going on here?!'' he stopped as he completly get out, taking a look around and slowly lit a cigarette as he take a drag before letting out a puff of smoke ''Well?'' he start slowly ''Whats going on..?''

Luffy look up to him ''We were ambushed.'' as a matter of fact

''Yeah, that's what I figured.. '' Sanji said patiently as he look at the two men pointing a gun at him, then he point them ''From the looks of it..''

''We're in a real hurry, you know'' Luffy said to the mans that pointing guns towards him from where he sit.

''Hmm... That makes five people in total'' The hippo guy start to talk as he hold up the knife with a meat to his mouth ''There cant be only five people on this ship..'' and bite the all knife and start to chew like its nothing ''Well, whatever. Let me ask you something..'' They all gape at him, clearly thinking that this guy was some freak or insane as he's eating the knives like some cracker.

''The hell?!'' Luffy asked with a weird face ''He ate through that knife whole''

''Ack! It hurts just looking at it!'' Usopp said with his face that saying he cant stand watching.

''He is obiovusly a devil fruit user'' Luna said with an unimpressed face.

''We wish to head for Drum Kingdom.'' The guy who eats knife start to ask ''Do you happen to have an eternal pose or even a log pose on you?''

''No'' Luffy said bluntly ''Never heard of that Kingdom before. If you're done asking, hurry up and get off of my ship'' The man just shrug, not looking surprised at all and state that, then he would settle for their treasure and their ship instead. After saying that ''But hold on, I'm feeling a bit peckish..'' his jaw suddenly spread wide enough to take a bite from Merry, much to their shock.

''What the hell is with this dude?!'' Usopp yelled with terrified face as the man pull off a huge chunk of wood and start to swallow

''Hey, dont eat our ship!'' Luffy also yell out. The men that surrounding them all point their guns to him, warning him to stay quiet but of course Luffy take them out, causing all other men to prepare to fire. Luna, Zoro and Sanji take out all the guards with no real effort at all while the weird man was eating the side of the ship the whole time. Luffy came charging over just as the man clamp his mouth down on him, swallowing him whole. Seeing Luffy's arms stretch out far back before his mouth close, Luna, Zoro and Sanji just stand there and start to wait for Luffys arms to come back. Just then, Vivi came out of the room, asking to know what was going on but arrive in time to see Luffy sent the man flying while Luffy was yelling ''Get off of my ship!''

All the men were staring with their jaws open as they watch their majesty become a star in the sky. With a freaking out state, they all climb back onto their ship immediately and went off to try and save him. ''And as for you scum! We'll have our revenge one day!'' wavy lip guys yelled as he point them

''Remember us!'' Afro guy also yell at them as their ship start to go away ''Dont forget it! Please, remember us!'' They were looking at them blankly while still could hear the man ''Pleaaasee!''

''Well'' Sanji start ''That was weird'' they all nod and go back to do what they had been doing before they were interupt. Luna was thinking about that man as she remembering him now when they finally called his name just before they were leaving. 'Wapol, huh..?' she come back from her own mind with Usopp's voice that complaining about the man who eats their ship.

After a little while later, Sanji came out from kitchen, saying that the soup Luna wanted from him was ready and start to bring it to Nami along with Luna. Vivi was still outside as Luna start to help Nami to drink the soup ''Wow, it smells so delicious, Sanji'' Luna start to talk when soup's smell came to her ''It didnt smell this good when I cook it,'' with a little pout before she smile big ''You're really a good cook!''

Nami was weakly saying not to cause Sanji to a heart attack as she drink the soup with Luna's help. She was thinking it was delicious too though. Sanji had hearts in his eyes with the praise he got and was saying that he was sure Luna's cook was also perfect. ''By the way, where did you learn about this soup, Luna-chan? Its first time I heard of it'' with the excitement that learning a new recipe, specially for the sick people

''I would do it for my mom when I was little.. '' with a soft smile, she didnt say where she learn it though since she knew it from her previous life. Sanji made a soft smile too after hearing this, from what he heard her mother was also sick so Luna must've learn it for her somehow, he thought and didnt asked more.

After Luna finished the soup she gave the now empty bowl to Sanji ''Alright, now go back to rest'' with a smile she said to Nami as she put the wet cloth on her forehead. Sanji took the bowl and start to go towards to kitchen with a happy smile on his face, not wanting to interrupt sleeping Nami and leaving Luna to look over her

''Hey, Luffy!'' Sanji yelled from kitchen, getting Luffy's attention, who's playing with snow along with Usopp ''Its your turn to watch over Nami, take this with you while you're going'' as Sanji hold a plate of food full of meat and a dessert besides it. Luffy made a big smile as he stretch his hands to the food while saying okay but he get kicked by Sanji, who sees the stupid smile on his face ''Its not for you, rubber brain! I made it specially for Luna!'' He let a puff from his cigarette with a slightly worried face ''She almost didnt even eat anything since yesterday''

''She didnt?'' Luffy asked with a blank face while getting up, he knew Luna was the second one who eats a lot ''She's not sick too, right?'' as he asked with a worried face

''No, she's probably just worried too much for Nami'' Sanji said with a sad smile causing Luffy to frown but he came back quickly and smiled big ''Alright, I will take it to her'' as he took the plate and start to go to the room while Sanji was yelling after him that not to take even a little bite or no food for him and start to go towards to kitchen again to prepare the dinner for everyone.

''Lu-'' Luffy was about to call for her as he opened the door but he closed his mouth and slowly closed the door after seeing that Luna was sleeping. She was loosely sitting on the chair just besides Nami's bed, her head was fell behind as her face was facing with the railing. There was a piece of cloth hanging from her hand while both of her arms were hanging from her both sides. Luffy let a short sigh while placing the plate on the desk and go towards Luna. He knew that she was worried and get tired. It was mostly Luna who take care of Nami from the start since she knew these things more than any of them

He took the piece of cloth from her hands and put it on Nami's forehead after wetted it again. Then, he carefully wrap his arms around Luna's shoulders and back off her knees as he hold her up and start to carry her to her bed that was surrounded of white and shades of blue. After he gently lay down Luna to her bed and cover her with a blanket, his hand unconsciously go towards to her face as he saw her frowning face. He slowly push the strands that fall on her face from her free hair before he softly trace the outline of her face with his fingers. Seeing that her frown start to dissapear and she slightly lean into the touch with a much relaxed and peaceful face, made him smile a little but a moment later, his face turned to blank as he start to blink a couple of times and straighten up while averting his gazes from Luna with a slight frown and deep eyes that one couldnt understand what he was even thinking about. With one last glance to Luna, he start to go towards Nami's side and sit on the chair as he stayed in silence with the same face until someone else come in too

*Flashback*

'Love' thought the ten years old girl, who dressed up full of black clothes and also a black transparent veil on her head that normally covering her face completly but her face was now open clear as she stand in front of the throne. She thought about the past for a moment. She was asked to her mother why she was even with a man like her father. Mari D. Anne was just smiled softly as she said 'When it comes to love, sometimes there is just no reason.' she wouldnt understand at all and her mother just patted her head while saying 'I'm sure one day you too will understand what I mean'

Of course she knew what love is, living her second life and all but she never fall in love before and she thought that her mother was wrong for the first time about this. She thought she will never understand as her eyes traveled on her father. He was wearing fully black too. Unlike his usual style that worty for a king, he was wearing basic clothes now. His shirt's, that golden engravings on his collar, buttons were half open, showing his well toned muscles. His golden hair that covering his forehead was messy. His black cloak that had same engravings with his shirt and the eye symbol on its back, was loose on him. His face was looking tired as he glancing down at her while loosely sitting on his throne.

She knew he loved her mother, even though it was in his insane way but she was questioned that it was even really okay that kind of love as they were there and made this talk right at the moment, just after her mothers funeral. ''So, did you decide your name?'' He asked with a little smile on his face. She mentally sweatdrop at this while her face remain neutral in front of him. He was just finished his talking less then a minute ago, how could she even decide. Right, she would believed he really loved her like a normal person if he wasnt sending her away right now, like he was waiting for this moment to come. He wanted her to go, on the day of her mother's funeral ''De Luna'' she answered with her empty voice as she keep looking up at him.

He had an amuse in his eyes as he asked ''Didnt you just only add a letter in your name?''

''Does it matter? No one even know any Luna from here anyway'' with a tilted head that making clear she didnt undersand, causing him to laugh with amazement.

Until now, for ten years, she was learning about their family and their knowledge. So he thought that now its time for her to go, to underworld. All alone without anything. 'start from nothing and become everything' this was what he wanted for her now. No one in this world knew that there is a girl named Grant D. Luna except the people in the castle and her father's most trusted men, and they would never utter a word about her to anyone. Luna in the end, was supposed to be a shadow, a perfect weapon and shield for her other half, Leo. So, she will have to go outside now, learn and make a name for herself from nothing.

''Good, good'' as he start to calm down from his laugh. ''De Luna it is then. You're going tomorrow morning, so be ready!'' he said with his smile that he always put on his face

She turned her ocean blue eyes to see the white and beautiful huge tree, in the middle of the beautiful and big garden behind the castle. Every time her mother was good enough to get outside, she would always came here. She always loved the see her mother here, specially when its winter. When everywhere was covered with a white blanket, her mother would look like an angel with her pure white hair and sky blue eyes. She was like one with snow, so why now there was no snow but this irritating rain instead. The sky was covered dark clouds and the rain was heavy. She was just standing there, under the heavy rain and looking up to the tree with an empty eyes that a ten years old child shouldnt have. Her black dress was soaked and start to get heavy on her, her hair that comes to her mid back was sticking to her face.

She was came here the moment she left her father's side. If she would be a normal ten years old girl, she would break until now. Right, just yesterday, she found her mother death in her bed. She was visiting her like usual but this time, she wasnt wake up.

Her mother would always call her 'My little miracle' She was born dead but suddenly she started to breath and cry. She used to questioned this all the time. Was it her will that make her come back to life or was it just her that took over the body? Was she really Grant D. Luna? Was she really supposed to be alive? Was Grant D. Luna really needed to be alive? Why was she here ,with a knowledge of future, in a family with the knowledge of past and present? It didnt matter in the end though, she give in that she is now Grant D. Luna. But now with her mothers death, she felt like she lost all of herself. The dream she had was gone along with her hope. She didnt even know if she could survive out there, all alone with her little body so, what dream..

''What's that face?!'' She turned to the voice to see her other half, who had an angry face. Grant D. Leo was a boy who looks much more like their father. He had a golden eyes along with a golden hair that covers his forehead, just like Luca. And like Luna but unlike her, Leo had white strands inside his hair. He was wearing all black too but his attitude was more like a little prince, like how he's suppose to be.

''What face?'' she asked as she look at him with a confuse. Wasnt it normal for her to be sad? Their mother was just died. It was always Luna that took care of her. While Leo was busy with his things as a prince and came only when he had time, Luna was the one who goes to their sick mother's side and stay with her. Until now she only learned the knowledge along with Leo and three years ago she was started to learn how to fight alone. They didnt know about her, so when her father's right hand man throw her to the training ground, they made her live a real life experience more then to train her. She survived all of them because she had a dream and a mother and a brother she wanted to be with, so she always get up to her feet back.

''You look like you give up everything! I heard what father wanted from you'' Leo said with a frowned face as he keep getting closer to his sister.

She let a tired sigh ''So what? Isnt it normal to make a face like this then?''

''Dont give up!'' as he finally come close to her and stand just in front of her ''You wanted to see, right? Then I'll come with you!''

She blink at this ''Wha..? Leo, what are you even tal-''

''I will come with you to make sure you'll see it!'' With a determined face as he cut her words ''Once we become seventeen, lets run away, just before we become heirs.'' He then hold up his right hand, extending his pinky finger to her ''Lets see the world ourselves, freely. Run away from everything, just two of us. Lets promise to do it one day!'' He had a big and shinny smile that dazzled Luna for a moment. He always like a sun to her. A bright light in her darkest times along with her mother and now he was forcing her to not to give up, giving her a big hope like its nothing. She wondered if he even noticed this.

She hold his pinky finger too after looked at his with a blank face for a while. She had a big and shinny smile too as she said ''Okay, its a promise!'' she looked like a really ten years old child at that moment as she look at their tangled little fingers

Leo looked at her face with his softened eyes. He would always tell her that he is not her sun and she's not a moon. He always knew deep down but this was the moment he accepted the first time that she was the one who's more like a sun to him. With the inocent and bright smile on her face, he felt like sunrised even under this dark and heavy weather. He knew that Luna was started to empty herself from any emotion to protect herself with everything she saw until now. She was kind, inocent and bright but she would only show it to the ones she loved or liked and there was only two until now. One was himself and other was their mother.

The time he spent with his father and the things he saw until now made Luna his treasure, a inocent part of him that will be there for him no matter what. He suddenly felt like carrying the world itself with his little body. Now because of their father, his precious sister will have to survive in their dark world, all alone. She would never lose her brightness with everything she saw until now but she wasnt alone those times. He swear to himself at that moment, that he will protect his other half, her brightness and kindness no matter what, with a full of determined eyes.

If only he knew that, he would be the very reason she will lose everything he wanted to protect about her...

*Flashback End*

It has been three days now that Nami's was sick. They didnt want to risk to travel at night without Nami so it was taking time to reach to the island. Luffy, Luna and Zoro was currently watching over Nami as today seemed to be worst than usual. They knew they only had two days left now, so they were all tense but confident that they will find her a doctor soon.

''Island dead ahead!''

Three of them look up at the voice of Sanji calling and Luffy and Luna grinned widely ''Island?'' he call back and turned to Nami ''Nami, did you hear that! Its an island! Now we can get you all better!'' eagerly as his legs were shaking

''I'm sure Nami would love a winter island. Snow...'' Luna also said dreamly

''Just go outside and look'' Zoro said with a sweatdrop as he lean his back on the wall with a folded arms, causing both Luna and Luffy to jump out to the deck. Luffy's eyes were widen at the sight in front of him while Luna had shinny eyes. It was an island snow covered it like a blanket with several tall mountains that looked like tall cylinders covered with ice and snow, almost like a drum. The tops of them were completly flat and they towered over everything on the island, casting a shadow across the landscape.

Luffy smiled brightly at the sight and run to the Merry's head ''Its so white!''

''Luffy! Let me just say now that we cant afford to go on an adventure this time. Once we get a doctor to treat Nami, we're leaving right away.'' Sanji start to say then turned to Luna with heart eyes ''Isnt that right, Luna-chan?!'' Luna however was looking at the snow with shinny eyes too

''Snow...'' with a happy and dreamy smile ''I always loved snow, its beautiful...'' Seeing this, Sanji go in his own pink world as he start to say ''Yes..beautiful..'' while looking at Luna

Usopp was also in his own negative world too as he was dramatically start to talk ''Hold on a moment...Is that island gonna be safe? If there's snow, couldnt there be snow monsters or someting?!'' to them but sounded more like to himself since no one really doesnt listening to him anyway ''There might not even be any humans living on it! Oh no! My cant-enter-that-island disease is acting up again!''

Luffy was also in his own world as he keep murmuring ''Snow is fun..I like snow 'cause its white.''

As they start to get closer ''Wow.. Just what are those mountains!'' Sanji said as he look up to mountains while Luffy happily looking at the snow. Usopp was looking at Luffy and Luna with unbelieveble eyes however ''Arent you two cold wearing only these?''

Vivi also add after Usopp ''Its -10 degrees. Cold enough for a bear to begin hibernating'' Luffy and Luna turned to them and blink a second as if they are progressing and then Luffy yell out ''Its cold!'' he was shivering where he sat, wrapping his arms tightly around himself while Luna made a shocked face and start to go inside. They were so excited about snow and island that they forget to take their coat...

''Could you be any slower!'' Sanji and Usopp were yelling at Luffy.

The small ship continue onwards, deeper into the island. So far, they didnt seen anyone else but as they went forward the forms of people could be make out watching them from safety of the trees or behind boulders. Everyone was on the deck except Luna, since she was preparing Nami for the cold weather. Soon, Vivi spot what seems to be a meltwater waterfall to dock their ship as Zoro call to them all ''So, who's going to go look for a doctor?'' with folded arms ''Actually, I guess we should start by seeing if there are even any people..''

Luffy, who's now wearing a warm coat ''I'll go!'' as a matter of fact

''Me too!'' Sanji exclaimed as he raised his punch high with determination to find a doctor for Nami

''Yes, go forth my comrades!'' Usopp was yelling from background with folded arms too, Just then they heared loud voice

''Stop right there, pirates!''

At the voice, their heads jerk up to see that they had been surrounded on all side on the cliffs by several dozen of people. Though they look like ordinary citizens, they were all armed and looked ready to fight. ''Uhh.. Judging from the mood, this doesnt look so good..'' Usopp said as he fearfully looked at them. Suddenly, a man step forward. He was large and rather imposing man with black hair and sligh goatee. He was dressed in a long white fur lined green tunic and armor plates on his arms with an extra large spade in a sheath hanging on his back. By the way that people were gathered around him, it was clear that he was the leader.

''I'll only say this once'' the man start ''Your kind is not welcomed here. Leave this island at once.''

Luffy's eyes widen at this ''Wait! We've come here for a doctor!''

Vivi also add besides Luffy pleadingly ''We have a sick person on board!''

''Those lies wont work on us, pirate-scum!'' some of the men shout

''This is our island!'' another yelled, holding up his gun ''We wont let no stinking pirates run amok on it!''

The crew were looking at them slight surprise but they need a doctor so they couldnt go away ''Whoo.. Talk about a bad first impression..'' Sanji said as he let a puff from his cigarette with a frown

''Dont talk back at us!'' One of the man, who hears Sanji's talk as he shout at his leg, causing Sanji to growl while preparing to fight. Vivi move to stop him from acting recklessly but in the end that same man lost his mind with seeing angry Sanji and fired his gun again in her direction.

''Vivi!'' They yelled in warning with the horror filled faces as they couldnt do anything to stop the bullet in time and start to take a fight position against the citizens, causing them to tense more as they were all pointing their guns. Suddenly, taking them all by surprise, another gun fired to the side and the two bullets deflect each other without harming to no one. They all turned swiftly to the door of girls room to see Luna, holding up an ordinary pistol that they had in their ship just in case, and start to walk towards them with a neutral face while looking around ''Firing at a vulnerable girl.. and you call yourselves man, cowards'' Luna said as she look at the man who fire the gun. They were all now pointing their gun at her with a tense air as Luffy, Usopp and Vivi yelled her name in surprise.

Luna's eyes turned to the man that clearly looked like the leader of them after she looked every one of them ''Are you the leader of them?'' She asked as the man looked at her with intense, narrowed eyes but didnt say anything, causing Luna to let a sigh and throw the pistol in her hands before she hold up her arms, like saying she is surrendering. ''I can promise you we are not here to cause any trouble, we only need a doctor.'' She said calmly as she look at the man in the eye, taking aback the citizens for a moment but they were still pointing their guns at her.

The crew were also taken aback, they didnt waiting Luna to throw the gun and surrender like this since they were almost shoting Vivi. ''Luna..?'' Luffy asked with a lowly voice while looking at her with a slight surprise, getting over his anger that comes from Vivi almost got shot

''Look at them Luffy, they are just normal, scared citizens. Clearly something must have happened to them with pirates so they are scaring.'' She didnt remembered what happened to these people or what happened here at this moment but it was clearly an act of the people who's scared. She then add with a lowly voice that only Luffy could hear as she glance at him ''Think of them as wounded animals and calm down'' then turned to look at the people again ''Whats important right now is Nami's health, you all have to calm down.''

Vivi also nod at this after she get over her shock ''Thats right! This isnt a problem you can solve by fighting.'' Vivi said as she look at Luffy ''You're failing to carry out your duties as ship captain, Luffy. Recklessly fighting isnt always going to solve everything.'' Luffy was calmed down with what Luna said but he look at Vivi with a rather blank face. This words also caused Luna to frown a moment and look at her seriously

''And you think you're doing good, Vivi?'' as she turned to her. Vivi also looked at Luna with a surprised face ''What did you think you can solve while throwing yourself between two group? What did you think would happen if you got shot? If this is also how you think you're going to solve your country's problem, you're in for a rude awakening, princess.'' Luna finished and after she look at Vivi momently she turned to the man, who is the leader, leaving behind a shocked Vivi. It wasnt that Luna look at her like how she looked with her emotionless eyes but she was looking so serious and like looking down to a child who knows nothing. Others were also surprised but Luna was right. If Vivi got shot that moment it would only make them more angry, specially Sanji.

''Do you think we would believe a pirate's words?'' The man asked again as he keep looking at Luna with his intense eyes.

''If you dont believe our words..'' she slowly said and then turned to Sanji, who watches her worriedly ''Sanji,'' causing every men to tense up ''Bring our patient here'' making Sanji more worried ''Is it really okay, Luna-chan? These men..'' as he looked around, clearly thinking that something might happen to Nami

Luna turned her gaze to the man and look at him a moment ''Its okay, bring her here. If they dont believe the words of pirates, they should have to believe in their eyes then.'' as she turned to Luffy, who nods to Sanji after looking at Luna and the man for a moment. After Sanji start to get in and bring Nami, the air get more tense. Every one of them were pointing their guns like waiting he would come up with something to destroy them, all the while Luna stand there with her surrendering posture. She was wearing her basic white loose, log sleeves, laced t-shirt that its sleeves were unfolded now. Her sash was still around her waist along with her denim short, socks and light brown folded boots that just over her ankles. She was still wearing the same dark blue, loose triangle poncho but there was also some large, pure white cape coat with furs its edges and insides, that comes to just under her knees on her now. Her hair was also free but braided like always and there was a light blue scarf around her neck.

A couple of minutes later Sanji come outside while carrying Nami like some princess. Luna was already dress up Nami for their coming to a winter island so he was quick to bring her to the deck. The citizens were all looking at Nami now. It was clear that the girl was in pain with her red and sweating face even in this weather and wasnt faking it. They knew they didnt lie now but they were still didnt trust them. Luna look at the leader ''She's only two days left now. We dont have any time left to search for an another island so,'' as she start to bring down her arms ''If you dont want us to come in to the country thats fine but at least bring us a doctor'' she then closed her eyes and just slightly bowed her head ''This island is our last hope for our friend.'' If there was anything Vivi said right to her, it was, this situation couldnt solved with a fight. They were just inocent people, who is scared. If they would harm any of them, even they couldnt do anything to them, there was no guarantee to doctor will help them afterwards. Even if that doctors are Chopper and Kureha. She knew Chopper would but as all she remembers he was still scaring from humans right now and it would only scare him more.

Everyone look back and forth between Luna and Nami, not sure what they will do. The crew also looked worried, knowing that Luna was right. They didnt have any time left for to find another island. This island was really their last hope.

As the silence went on, the leader start to look at Luffy, who is the captain as Luffy also look at him back with hard eyes. Then with a last glance to Nami and Luna, who's still slightly bowing her head with closed eyes in silence, he left a sigh as he also closed his eyes and tighten his fist for a moment.

And he do the thing that makes them taken aback again. He slowly lowered himself and bowed his head more deeply ''We only ask for a doctor. Please help us to save our friend.'' the citizens gape at him in shock for a few seconds and everyone wait in tense silence before leader start to talk ''We'll lead you to our town.'' as they all turn to look at him ''Follow me'' They all sigh and smiled in relief as Luna go towards to Nami to check on her, she was burning up and shivering. While they were all trying to make Nami to comfortable, Sanji took her on his back and Luna asked Usopp to bring some blanket to cover Nami more.

And just the man turned his back, he looked at them as he warn them that there is only one doctor and she is a witch, shocking them momently but they were still happy that there was a doctor at least...

After walking a little at the border of a forest, they arrived at the village and the man who they learn was called Dalton lead them to his house. There was a roaring fire going in the fireplace while they were all gathered around the bed Nami was laying.

''A temperature of 42 degree and five day disease?!'' Dalton whisper in disbelief as to how can a human could hold on with such a temperature all five days. He thought it must be really painful way to die

''Its been already three days and her fever's been rising steadily since then and we dont know how to treat it'' Vivi said with a worry clear face

''It doesnt matter if this doctor's a witch or whatever as long as she can cure Nami! So just where the hell is she, we dont have time?!'' Sanji asked eagerly as he look at Dalton

''From the window you should be able to see mountains.'' Causing Sanji to go and look ''Those mountains arecalled the drum rockies. Perhaps you can see a castle at the top of the tallest mountain in the middle?'' Sanji nodded along with Vivi when they saw the barely visible form on top of the mountain.

''Presently, its a castle with no king..'' Dalton add as they were still looking at it

''So what about that castle?'' Vivi asked as she turned to him

''Doctor Kureha, the lone doctor in this entire country whom the people call a witch, lives in that very castle situated on the mountaintop'' Daton informed them as he cause a slight shock

''Of all the places she could be, she just has to be there.'' Sanji start with irritation as he stare to the castle from window ''Well, we better go call her right away then! This is an emergency'' as he harsly bite his cigarette

''As much as I'd like to, there is no way to contract her'' Dalton said causing Sanji to turn towards him fastly ''What?!'' with a shock fulled face ''And she calls herself a doctor!? Whats with this woman!?''

''Her skills as a doctor are undeniable but she's a bit of a kook and almost 140 years old at that too'' with folded arms Dalton explain shocking Sanji again ''Other than that..Ah, thats right. She happens to like pickled plums'' Dalton add, causing them to sweatdrop for a moment as they thought 'who cares?!'

''Then what do the people of this country do when they're sick or injured?!'' Vivi asked to Daton

''Well, she comes down from the mountain whenever she feels like it, finds patients to treat and afterwards she takes anything she wants from their homes as payment.'' Dalton explain again with patient

''That's one mean old hag.'' Usopp said as he drink his tea

''She seems like an interesting person.'' Luna add after him as she also drink her tea

''She is basically a pirate!'' Luffy declared after take a gulp from his tea too since the three of them were sitting side by side and calmly drinking tea until now.

''How does this old granny even get down from the mountains?'' Vivi asked worriedly causing Dalton to seriously explain again ''According to certain eyewitnesses, she supposedly rides down on a sleigh on moon light nights. Thats why the people call her a witch. Others have reportedly seen a most bizarre creature travelling along with her'' Dalton said, causing Usopp to scream in fear while Luna thinking that it must be Chopper as she couldnt wait to see him. ''Yes, although she's this country's only doctor, she also someone who I'd prefer to have little to do with. In any case, I'm afraid the only thing you can do is wait until she comes down..'' Dalton said

''That cant be..'' Vivi start to murmur in dissapointment

''What in the world.. How the hell is it possible for there to be only one doctor in an entire country?!'' Sanji also said with frustration just as Luffy go and start to slap Nami's cheeks a little ''Hey, Nami! Can you hear me?'' he said as he keep slap her causing Sanji, Usopp and Vivi to yell at him while Luna still drinked her tea calmly.

Nami slowly opened her eyes and blink sleeply ''Ah, you're up!'' Luffy said getting Nami's attention as her eyes focused on Luffy ''Listen, we cant get a doctor unless we go up a mountain, so we'll be hiking up'' Luffy said bluntly as others start to yell at him that Nami cant do that even though Luffy said he will be carrying her. While they were keeping their heated arguments, Nami suddenly get their attention as she start to talk with her weak voice and smile on her face ''I'll leave it to you then, captain'' while holding up her hand making Luffy to high five ''Great! Just leave it to me!'' with his big smile

''Oh lord, like two wasnt enough now our navigator get crazy too!'' Usopp declared dramatically while Vivi asked Nami if she's sure in worry.

''Alright, I'll be coming along too!'' Sanji declared with determination while Usopp start to warn Luffy ''Letting Nami fall even once could mean the end for her! Got it?!'' shocking Luffy as he asked he cant do it even once...

Luna was trying to tie Nami tightly around Luffy as Nami was on his back while Vivi was saying she will stay behind since she would drag them down and Usopp was agreeing with her and decided to stay behind too.
