Last Surprise

Monika and Natsuki found a spot where they could bury Hanako's body and have a short funeral session. Yandere was freeing Sayori from the net that she was captured in. Monika began. speaking first. "Hanako, even though we've barely interacted, I truly do think that you are a great person, and I knew that you were close with practically everyone you've met, and your relationship with Natsuki is something special, and even more your relationship with Ayano. God have mercy on your soul, little one". Sayori decided to go next. "Listen, Hanako, what you did to me was not good, but at the same time, I understood where you were coming from, you didn't wanna lose your friend. And even though Ayano said that she wasn't, I think she wants you to accept her apology earlier for what she said. But it was too late, but I think once she joins you in the afterlife, I know you'll accept her apology. And I also wanna thank you for taking me to that party, even though it was a setup, it was nice hanging out with you, and it was nice meeting MC, and now I got myself a mind at work. I'm going a bit offtopic here, but you get what I'm saying, I like you, Hanako, and I know we can stop this demon once and for all, we're doing this for you, my friend". Natsuki and Yandere had nothing to say, but decided to have a one-on-one conversation. "But-", Sayori said before Monika cut her off. "Let them reconcile, they need this". she said. "Ayano, if it weren't for her, I wouldn't be standing here right, but best believe that I would trade my life for hers". Natsuki began crying. "Look at where we are, look at where we started, the fact that we're alive is a miracle. We never got along, never even once and because of this rivalry of ours, it took her life, and might've as well taken ours. We need to put our differences aside, it's for the sake of everyone here, and most importantly Hanako, she would've done the same if I was where she was". Yandere took a deep breath, then went and hugged Natsuki. "I forgive you, Natsuki, and I actually mean it this time". The two finally made amends and became allies. Monika decided to say something too, but Yandere knew what she was going to say. "No need to talk, Monika, I apologize for starting all this, and don't apologize for slapping me, I kinda deserved it". Monika just smiled. "Now all we need to do is to stop Furina and save Yuri, Sayori said. "But how can we stop an entity who's mentally insane and is much more powerful than us?, asked Yandere. "I have a plan, and don't want everyone to intervene", Natsuki said. "I will try to stop Furina myself, and potentially save Yuri". "Are you crazy?!, that's a suicide mission!", shouted Monika. "Don't worry, if I don't come back, make sure to tell my story. and Sayori, make sure to take care of Monika for me. So Natsuki left and went to the woods. "All we can do is pray", finished Sayori while looking at Monika and Yandere. Yuri heard Natsuki's footsteps becoming louder and louder. "Oh, they're back, yes woohool", exclaimed Furina. But she was shocked to see only Natsuki there. "Natsuki, where's everyone else, why are you here by yourself?", Yuri asked. "Yuri, I want you to be honest with me, are you gonna stay with this demon, or try to live a peaceful life?". "Don't be silly, Tinky Winky here would never betray me ever, right?". "Actually, Furina I'm sorry to say, but you are going too far, I'm gonna leave and-". Furina put Yuri's knife to her throat. "No one betrays me and expects to get away with it, now you're gonna stay here and let me do what I need to do, I'm not trapped in here with you, you're trapped in here with me". "Enough Furina!, I want to make a compromise with you", Natsuki said harshly. "This better be good, because I'm gonna destroy this world one way or another, let's hear it", Furina said while devising a plan of her own. "Let's have a fight, just me and you. If I win, you leave us and this planet alone, if I lose, then break this world, at least I'll godown with a legacy". Furina agreed, while her eyes were changing from left to right simultaneously. "Here's what we're gonna do, little Doki, I'm taking you to my home planet so I can show you how I really fight, tell Yuri to summon me when you're ready". So Furina teleported back to her homeworld. "Natsuki, I hope you know what you're doing, and I'm sorry for everything I've done to you, when this is all over, can you promise me that we'll form a real friendship?". Natsuki just smiled and shook Yuri's hand. "See you on the other side, Yuri", said the determined Doki. So Yuri summoned Furina for her and Natsuki to fight. "Well, we're gonna party like it's 1999!", Furina said before taking Natsuki to her home planet, while Yuri went back and told everyone about what was happening. Finally, Natsuki arrived at Furina's homeworld. "Welcome to the world of Fontaine, where All the World's a Stage, where you can do whatever you feel (as long as it's ok with the council). "Anyways, we're in the battlefield now, I have my trusty sword, what's your weapon?". "I don't have one, all I can do is throw punches and kicks. "So a brawler, I see?, I can work with that". So Furina gestured to Natsuki to go first. Natsuki threw a good few punches, but Furina blocked every single one. "This only takes two percent of my power, Furina chuckled as she kicked Natsuki all the way to the other side of the battlefield, making her hit a wall. "You know Natsuki, you know you can't beat me, so why even try, it is because you don't want your planet to fall and lose your friends, not like you had none to begin with". "You really think your words affect me, I'm fighting for what you did to Hanako". Natsuki kept throwing more punches, but Furina didn't even budge. "That's it, I had enough", said Furina. Then she picked Natsuki by the throw, threw her in the sky, and slammed her body on the ground. Natsuki had bruises all over her body, but still tried to fight. Furina grabbed Natsuki's hand, then punched her in the face. Natsuki's nose was bleeding, but she still got up and kept trying. "If you get up one more time, I will kill you, no hesitation", Furina said. Natsuki didn't care for what Furina said, as she got up and started choking Furina. "I've been worse in bed, young one, now you'll wish you were dead. So Furina grabbed her sword and made a slight cut in Natsuki's chest. "Pathetic, you keep trying, but you keep getting hurt, why are you still trying if you know you can't physically beat me?!". "Because here's where we're different, Furina, you're powerful here but not on Earth", said Natsuki. "Where did you hear that, who told you that?", Furina said nervously. "Oh, just a hypothesis I made, and based on your response, it was right". Furina didn't say anything, she just teleported herself and Natsuki back to Earth. "Ok, Natsuki. here's your chance, try to kill me, come on", she pestered. So Natsuki took Furina's sword, and went straight to stab her in the chest, but she teleported right before she had the chance. "Wait, no, no no no no", Natsuki said. "This is what happens when you try to fuck with demons, now it was fun while it lasted, bye bye tsunde-". But then, Yuri took her knife and stabbed Furina clean through her chest. Furina just laughed, "Well, it's been a great time being with all you guys for these past few days, but I'm afraid this show came to an end, thank you everyone, you've been a great audience". Furina's body then disintegrated, leaving nothing but her hat and sword behind. "You ok. Natsuki?", asked Yuri, "Yeah, I'm alright, just a few bruises here and there, that's all". "And Yuri, thank you for what you did, I think you redeemed yourself just now". "Really, all I did was just stab her, but I guess I saved the world or some shit". Natsuki smiled at Yuri, "Come on, friend, let's go tell everyone what we've done, this could be your new start". So Natsuki told everyone what her and Yuri did to Furina, everyone was cheering for the two Sayori came and whispered something into Natsuki's ear, "Hanako would be proud". Natsuki looked at Sayori, and just smiled at her while letting out some tears. A month passed since Furina's downfall, Yuri was reassigned back into the literature club, Natsuki and Ayano talked more than they usually do, and best of all, her and Yuri formed a strong friendship with each other. Natsuki talked to Sayori for a while, "By the way, you never told us about your first date with MC, how did it go?". Sayori blushed, "it was awkward, we basically just talked about random stuff, and we'll we're officially a couple now". "That's nice to hear, though I think it's odd that he picked you over someone like Yuri". "Natsuki!", said Sayori embarrassingly. "Come on, I mean no disrespect to you, Sayori, but if anyone in here would be dating someone, it'll probably be either Monika or Yuri, just saying". "Alright everyone, settle I have an announcement to make, said Monika. "If you're not aware, it's been a month since the incident with Furina, and to celebrate this journey that all of us have been through, I have two surprises to share with you all". Everyone tried to guess what Monika was going to say, but they eventually just gave up and listened. "The first surprise is the big one, as of starting today, I'm no longer gonna be president of the literature club anymore. Everyone's eyes widened. "Monika, you've been the president for years, you can't retire, no one else runs this club better than you", said Sayori. "Actually, Sayori, that's where you're wrong, because starting today, you're gonna be the president now!". Natsuki and Yuri clapped and cheered for her. "You really think I can do this. Monika?", she asked shyly. "I know so, now make me and everyone proud". And Monika left saying her goodbyes. "So, Ms. President, (feels weird saying that), who's the vice president now?". "Oh, don't get mad or anything, but I actually elected Yuri, so come up here, vice president!". "Sorry Natsuki, this is something I wanted for a long time", Yuri said. "Don't worry about it, my friend, you deserve it after all", Natsuki said before the other girls went straight into doing their work. Then she looked up at the sky and said, "Hope you're smiling up there with us, Hanako".
