13 Chapter 13: coastal search (Edited)

It has been a week since I started my new life as a hero and I had thought taking on the scum of New York would provide me with plenty of exp to level up and for a good two days it did, but as soon as I was past level 10 the rewards turned from 200 per thug to 100 when I asked Tron why.

So trying to find a decent challenge in new York sounds easy right plenty of villains to go around right I mean it's the big apple.

So yeah most of the villains of New York have either been put behind bars or haven't appeared yet like a good chunk of spiderman rogues gallery so no villain fighting for me, but definitely more grinding off the small fries and my name has spread more talks of strange creatures saving people all over Manhattan.

Most believed it was Batman who had moved to New York others thought it was the devil of hell's kitchen expanding out of the district that was until a video of me taking out thugs in my gargoyle form I remember the fight, but the victim had taken the time to watch and the name Nightfury has been given thanks to Spider-mans big mouth and the news as been running with it.

With my name spreading on social media I decided to finally investigate my quest before more monsters decide to show their ugly mugs I was in my Zilla form at the bottom of the sea making my way along the Atlantic.

It was interesting lots of cool fish and old stuff at the bottom of the sea that is fun to use [observe] to find anything valuable I put away mostly old equipment to sell to the system for credits and it counts as investigating so bouns.

As I'm checking another wreckage I feel a familiar pressure on my mind I shake the attempt of control and search my surroundings only to find squads of advanced soldiers making their way around me looking for a leader I find them and he seems familiar.

POV Attuuma

"So this is the creature that my sentry has reported interesting to have a resistant to my command of ocean-dwelling creatures," I had heard many reports of giant creatures awakening in the ocean depth some fitting the description of old myths but you see one.

???: "My lord," I look over to a private and motion for him to speak "we have intelligence from the surface this creature is known as Zilla it has shown to be quite intelligent and has defeated multiple other creatures on the surface," interesting but why are you down here hunting perhaps or something more likely searching from what the reports have said but for what?

As I mused over the multiple questions this Zilla starts to move away and my soldiers look for orders "I want a squad of 6 on it at all times and report where and what it's doing if it becomes agitated back away if it attacks you retreat fully and report its last known location for reinforcements and make sure to stay within our borders if he leaves nothing is to be done understood," I commanded and they all gave a quick bow and yes my lord they were after it.

POV Max Draco (Zilla)

After leaving attuma behind I continued my search for clues but found nothing for an hour so I decided to head back south to Florida where the Searexs appeared after a while the soldiers following me stopped and headed back guess I passed some kind of border or something but I just kept moving south but as one group left another took its place as I noticed ships above and at least one submarine wonder if they're going to call in a superhero or maybe both teams but most likely S.H.I.E.L.D will show up and try some bullshit but until then let's just enjoy the swim while it lasts.

POV Clark Kent

'Alright and that should do it just got to hand this in and I can take my break' I get out from my desk but before I can take a step

Perry: "farmers boy get in here on the double!!"

Clark: "already on my way sir" as I open the door Louis and Jimmy are already here 'what's going on?' I hand over my work "here you go, sir just finished editing," he grabs and sets me to the side not even looking at what I handed him.

Perry: "Not now the story of a lifetime just showed up on the coast and I want all hands on deck and are best ready to print a story," he turned on the TV in his office.

TV: "All citizens on the east coast are to stay doors be ready to evacuate and as a new giant monster has arrived on the west coast some news says that it is Zilla but that is unconfirmed at this ti-

Perry White: "Louis Jimmy the news copters already heating up I want you down there as soon as possible" as he finished his sentence louis was dragging a worried Jimmy out the door with their supplies "Clark I want you fresh when this story hit your desk and be ready as soon as they get back," he said.

I nod and make my way out of the office as I move towards the elevator I speed through and into a closet changed and make my way to the coast.

POV Tony stark

everyone had gathered and as the news played in the background Clint, Natasha, Steve, and Thor were going over all the data and arguing over a first-strike strategy or wait and prepare banner was going over the radiation emitting off of the creature trying to figure out if this was Zilla or a new threat as that was going on I got a notification.

Tony: "Alright Avengers before we leave I'd like to introduce some new hands to help us out with our monster problem," the elevator door opened, and out came to the pair wearing what one would assume to be weird biker suits and helmets "I would like to introduce Hank Pym and Janet van dyne as-" I began only to get interrupted.

Natasha: "Also known as ant-man and the wasp it's good to see you Jane" the two hugged and went into small talk catching up and Clint with hank shook hands.

Tony: "Wait how do you guys know each?" to be fair I had only met hank like four times but he never stuck me as a secret spy guy.

Hank: "Well tell you on the way let's go see about the monster problem," he said and minutes later the quinjet had taken off with me and Thor beside it on both flanks going down the east coast.
