11 Chapter 11: Monster of manhattan (Edit)

A storm had gathered over Manhattan covering the moon and allowing darkness to envelop all the nooks and crannies that the light of the city couldn't reach allowing the city's vermin to make their move.

???: "Please just take our money and leave us alone," said a man as a group of five partygoers two guys and three girls had made the wrong turn and now found themselves surrounded by a group of eight in the dark of an alleyway.

???"I got an even better idea hand over the money and the guys get to leave but the girls get to party with us the rest of the night," said a thug one of the men went to grab one of the girls when out of the dark a line came down from above and caught his arm before anyone could process what had happened he was lifted into the night sky and disappeared.

???: "SHIT ITS THE BAT"

???: "THE FUCK IS THE BAT DOING IN MANHATTAN"

???: "WERE IS HE I DON'T SEE ANYTHING"

The gang all started to panic the partygoers made their way around the corner and started to record what was happening.

???: "WERE DO YOU THI-"

One of the gang noticed the partygoers and was about to move when he was suddenly caught by the neck by a line of wire, but this time from the opposite side of the alley where he was dragged screaming and silenced in mere seconds none of the gang could do anything.

Then a flash of lightning brightened the darkness for a good second and then the screaming started three of the goons tun past them as fast as they could screaming all the way and the two left pulled out guns and unloaded down the alley until but as suddenly as it started the screaming and shooting stopped.

???: "Wha...what happened," one of the girls asked but no one answered her question.

Looking around the corner they found the remaining thugs all unconscious two hanging from a fire escape and two tied together with their weapons crushed.

???: "Please tell me someone was recording that," one of the guys asked his friend who nodded slowly none of the partygoers noticed the figure above them watch them before turning away.

POV Nightfury

"After taking care of the trash like a true hero I make my way up to a taller building to continue looking for any more thugs harassing civilians," I said leaning over the edge of a building.

[Are you monaloging]

"No I am not....ok maybe just a little bit but come on I was so badass back there how I came from above and took out those-"

[Yes I was there would you like to hear your rewards?]

"Yes please"

[Reward]

8 defeated thugs = 1,600 credits

"Nice so two hundred pre-thug"

Before I could open the shop to spend my new currency I heard the sound of some action making my way over I saw Spider-man taking care of a large group of thugs considering how many were already unconscious I almost decided to leave before the last goon grabbed a hostage so I decided to use a particular skill of my new monster.

POV Spider-man aka Peter Parker

'Sam it's too far away for a webline,' I thought as I measured the distance between me and the hostage.

???: "Now be a good hero an-" the thug began to say but as the thug was making his threats I got distracted by a large figure behind him.

With large bat-like wings and white glowing eyes as soon as I made eye contact with the figure I felt scared so scared I couldn't move and it seemed the thug noticed how quiet I was as he slowly turned around and looked up he let go of the hostage.

She ran behind me while the thug couldn't do anything so terrified he was and before I knew it he fainted right there before the figure and he began to chuckle.

"What have I gotten myself into," I said to myself.

I love being a gargoyle with my skills traversing the city is easy as can be and with my armor flying unnoticed was simple, my gargoyle form was eight feet tall and looked like a skinny Goliath from the show but with smooth granite-like skin with large gray wings and a spiked tail.

After using [stone glare] and watching the thug pee his pants and faint right in front of me I couldn't help but chuckle the I heard Spiderman worrying about what his situation was and might as well inform him.

"You need not worry spiderman I'm no enemy of yours," he let down his defensive stance but I knew he was still wound up like a spring ready for the shoe to drop.

Spider-man: "Ok sorry just instinct didn't notice you until well you know," points towards the unconscious man "And since you know who I am what's your name," he asked.

"Why don't we continue our conversation in a more private area and you can drop the civilian off to the police there almost here," not a second later the sirens of police were heard

Spider-man: "Ok met you up top," he said I nod and I climb the wall a few feet before jumping on the roof to have a meeting with Spider-man.
