9 chapter 9

Elias was still a little dizzy after the mind travel and he still stumbled back to the room he left his bags and started to search. Elena and the kitten followed Elias while Elija stayed with Eleanor.

"Calm down Elias." Elena said. "You don't look that ready for a fight. You should rest."

"I am fine." Elias said as he searched his gun bag. "I just want to make sure I am armed when I'm attacked. I also want to plan for that Kano guy you mentioned. Of course you shouldn't expect me to kill him just because, but I will at least check out and see if I should deal with him."

"You don't have to worry about that." Elena said. "Special forces are going to take a long time dealing with other problems before they can plan for Kano. We have days for that plan and I assure you they trust me enough to let us go. Besides, they might have other missions for us before that."

"No, fuck that." Elias said. "I want to check on Kano to see if I can be rid of these special forces or will they be my future enemies. I don't want to do more missions for some random military groups."

"All right I get that." Elena said. "I understand not wanting to be tied to any groups but that doesn't mean you should die of exhaustion. Take a moment to rest, you haven't slept for a long time."

"Death is a form of sleep." Elias said.

"Elias! that isn't funny." Elena said.

"I'm not trying to be funny." Elias said. "There are a lot of ways that I can avoid sleeping and death seemed to recharge me completely. I was just a little hungry after death and I ate some junk food and snacks so I'm fine."

"That can't be healthy." Elena said.

While they were talking, Elias managed to get his senses back and found the BFR 45-70 Revolver he was looking for. The gun was a big old west looking revolver. Elias then used his senses to locate bullets for this handgun and are usually used in a rifle. With his senses he managed to find twenty five and he immediately armed the gun with five and then holstered it.

Elias then grabbed new short sword he got from wonder woman with him. He used the sword to cut one of the gun holsters that he stole from the Doomshaper armory in a way that it could hold the sword for a while and he sheathed the sword on his belt.

"Now, I have a question." Elias said. "I just realized that most of you five can teleport. Can any of you do any form of long ranged teleportation?"

"Elija can do that." Elena said. "His doesn't have an inherit teleportation power but he practices magic. He can use magic to teleport to places he had marked with his magic."

"Can he teleport to New York?" Elias asked.

"Probably, we have a house there." Elena answered with a sigh.

"Perfect, I'm going to ask him to teleport us there." Elias said.

Elias grabbed the kitten and started to walk toward where the others were. Elena was a little annoyed but she followed.

Elias walked back to the living room and saw Eleanor had recovered. The others all turned to Elias when he walked in and their eyes darted toward his weapons.

"You getting ready for a battle or something?" Elsa asked.

"Probably." Elias said.

"Who are you fighting?" Elsa asked.

"Some guy named Kano." Elias answered

"The leader of the Black dragons?" Elsa asked and Elias looked over at Elena.

"Yes, that guy." Elena said.

"Wait, isn't there a purple dragons in New York too?" Elias asked.

"There are but we don't care about them." Elena said.

"You want to fuck with the black dragons?!" Elsa asked with an amused look on her face.

"Probably." Elias said. "I'm still confused if these are the punk guys that do petty crimes or the guys that betray even our world for money. Either way they are scumbags and I am happy to… wait hold on, there is also a red dragons which one are those."

"They are the magic cult." Elija said. "They are also scumbags so you don't have to be worried."

"Black dragons are also the betrayers." Eliot said.

"Okay, that is a lot of dragons." Elias said. "Anyways, does any of you knows how we can find this Kano guy."

"I do but I am tiered." Elena said. "That means you get to rest while I also get some sleep."

"I know where they are." Elsa said.

"Are you willing to help me?" Elias asked.

"Sure, I didn't get a good fight for a long time." Elsa said as she cracked her knuckle.

"That isn't happening." Eleanor finally spoke. "There is a reason I forbid you from going to mission for a reason. You aren't going to cheat out of your punishment."

"Oh, come on." Elsa said. "It was one destroyed building and no one got hurt."

"To be fair, I might need her be destructive." Elias said.

"And now I have a new favorite brother." Elsa said with a smile.

"Ouch." Elija said looking hurt.

"You never where the favorite brother." Elsa said.

"Holly shit, you actually think I am a better brother." Eliot said.

"It was between you or Elija." Elsa said. "Between the two of you I preferred the brother that speaks less."

"I don't speak that much." Elija said looking offended.

"Enough." Eleanor said in a tiered voice. "I still can't let Elsa go with you. She has to learn to control her powers."

"I understand but I really need help." Elias said. "I have a lot of problems and she would be a great help with one of them."

"How dangerous are these problems?" Eleanor asked.

"This one is okay but I have bigger problems." Elias said.

"What are the bigger problems?" Eleanor asked.

"Do you remember I said there are ways I can die for good." Elias said.

"Fine." Eleanor said with a sigh.

"Yes." Elsa said as she jumped and Gave Eleanor a hug. "I promise I wouldn't destroy anything unless I have to."

"I also need to get to New York." Elias said looking at Elija. "The last time I tried to do that l lost four fingers and got in special forces debt. Can you teleport me there so I can avoid all of this shit?"

"Sure, but after you are done, I want to do some research on you." Elijas said.

"That really depends on the research." Elias said.

"Don't worry, I just want you to try some spells and take some of your blood." Elija said.

"I can do that." Elias said.

"Good, so I would need to teleport two people?" Elija said.

"Three, I am going too." Eliot said and everyone except Elias looked at him like he had just grew horns.

"I can always use more help." Elias said.

"Did something happen while I went after Elias?" Elena asked looking very confused.

"I am as confused as you." Elija said.

"We all are." Elsa said.

"What, I just want to help for once." Eliot said.

Both Elias and Eleanor knew why Eliot was doing that since they both saw the memory. Elias kept his face neutral like always while Eleanor looked a little sad.

"I think that is a good idea." Eleanor said. "This way you can train your skills and keep a better eye on Elsa."

"Hey, I'm not a baby." Elsa said.

"Of course you aren't." Eleanor said sarcastically.

"Fuck you." Elsa said.

"You should get ready for travel." Eleanor said with a laugh.

Elsa looked a little angry but she didn't have that much time to be angry as she remembered she had a job soon that could include destroying things. Eliot and Elija also left to get their things and get ready.

"This family is full of stubborn assholes." Elena said as she gave Elias a look. "It is really good to see that you managed to act a part of the family this fast."

"Thank you." Elias said.

"I called you a stubborn ass." Elena said.

"I know, thank you." Elias said.

Elena stared at Elias a few moments as if she was deciding on how to kill him. She then shrugged and left. She was too tired to really do much so she left for her room.

"Hey Elias." Eleanor called. "Listen, we both saw somethings in your memories and you seemed to know a lot more about what you saw. Can I ask you some questions about that?"

"I can tell you what I know." Elias said wit a shrug. "That skeleton guy that stole me from the foot clan is a necromancer named Alaric. He sent people to kill me, saying that if I die for the first time, I can get a lot more powerful. Dying made me a little more powerful but he not that much. What my death actually did was put me on a hit list of people that I don't know but Alaric said they can kill me for good."

"What does this guy have against you." Eleanor asked.

"Nothing really." Elias said. "He did mention he wants some people dead. I think he did that so I would be hunted and be forced to hunt my own hunters. I also think I'm not the first person he did this to."

"Okay, I will have people looking for this guy." Eleanor said.

"People?" Elias asked.

"We are a rich family." Eleanor said. "We have some people on our payroll. So yes, I have people that work for us and I will tell them to keep an eye."

"Thankyou." Elias said with a smile. "By the way, what are your powers?"

"You tell me about powers first." Eleanor said. "I remember some of your powers from before but it looks like you have new powers. That resurrection power sounded very powerful."

"Sure, I can tell you." Elias said with a shrug. "I always was physically enhanced and had weak telekinesis, weak energy manipulation. After dying I learned to grow reptile like claws and I can now spit poison and acid."

"That is interesting." Eleanor said looking a little thoughtful. "For my powers, I have some. I have telepathy, teleportation, telekinesis, pyrokinesis and I have powerful healing factor. I am not only the oldest but the most powerful in the family and unfortunately that put me in charge."

"What about Elsa, what are her powers?" Elias asked.

"I think I should tell you about her and Eliot." Eleanor said. "Elsa is physically enhanced, healing factor and has the power to change her body like turning her body to steel or turning her arms to swords she can also twenty and there is a chance she will get stronger. Eliot has pyrokinesis, teleportation, healing factor and smoke control. Eliot also has a better knowledge of magic than Elsa."

"What about our parents?" Elias asked.

"Our father is a lot more power than all of us." Eleanor said with a frown on her face. "He isn't a good person. The reason we five stick together is so we can have a fighting chance against him. If it was up to him, we would all be married and had kids by now. Our mother, we don't know much about her but she is probably the same type of asshole."

"Are we going to kill them?" Elias asked.

"I wish we could." Eleanor said. "Again as I said, they are very powerful. Killing them is not going to be easy."

"Can they resurrect themselves?" Elias asked.

"No, your power is unique." Eleanor said.

"Then they only need one bad day to be killed." Elias said.

"I hope so." Eleanor said.

After that the two waited in silence for the others. After some time, the three came back. Elsa had a short sword and a round shield with her. Eliot was wearing two metal gauntlets and had four daggers with him. Elija only had a book and a bag with him.

"Okay, are you guys ready to leave." Elija said. He looked very happy about what he was going to do.

"His smile is worrying me." Elias said.

"Don't worry, he just loves magic." Eliot said.

To Eleanor's annoyance, Elija started to work the spell in the living room. He took some sort of metal dust out of the bag and created a circle while the others started to move the furniture out of the way. Elias, Elsa and Eliot stood in the middle of the circle while Elija started to turn the circle to a sigil while he whispering an incantation. Elias then felt Elija use powerful energy manipulation to finish the spell, almost like Elias but a lot stronger.

When the spell was finished a portal opened on top of their head and slowly came down on them. When the cate completely moved passed them, they found themselves in a different room that they were.

The room they were in was small, like it was some sort of a safehouse. There was a table five chair and a lock box in a corner of the room. The walls, the door and the single window were all covered with runes and Elias could feel energy coming from them.

"Are we there." Elias said.

"Yes, this is the New York safehouse." Elsa said as she looked around.

"Okay, what now?" Eliot asked.

"Now Elsa will tell us where we can find the black dragons and we go and scout the area." Elias answered.

"I can do that." Elsa said. "I think we should find a car or something like that. We are in queens and the black dragons are in Staten island. Traveling in the streets by foot haven't been safe since the mutant uprising."

"Now that sounds like a bullshit." Elias said and started to walk toward the door.

"What?!" Eliot said looking annoyed. "She isn't joking, there isn't much security in this city anymore and people will do anything for a quick buck that includes killing us and taking our shit."

"I want to be attacked by a gang." Elias said. "Mutants aren't that strong but they think they are. When they try to kill us, we kill them back and steal their shit, a lot of times that includes a car."

"That sounds like a horrible plan." Eliot said.

"I actually like it." Elsa said.

"Good, lets go." Elias said and kept walking.

Elsa followed Elias with a happy grin while Eliot looked a little scared. Elias felt Eliot's nervousness and decided to stay close to him. Somehow being closer to the Elias and Elsa made Eliot feel calmer.

The streets of New York were like Gotham. You could see bullet holes everywhere, the roads were mostly destroyed and everything looked dirty. The only difference New York had with Gotham was the fact that there were a lot of humanoid animals or as they are called mutants around.

Elias kept walking toward Goethals bridge the bridge that led to Staten island. He hoped that they would be attacked but them being armed and walking openly without any fear probably scared most people. Seeing no one was going to attack them, Elias decided to steal a car.

Stealing a car was easy. People made a joke in cities like this that a car parked in the streets is for public use and it was almost true as half of these cars were probably stolen and they weren't even locked. Stealing one was just the matter of getting in hotwiring the car and driving away.

In their way, the group saw a couple of gang wars, a riot against the police and a fight between Ninja clans. Elias's range of senses wasn't that long but he could see from time to time that people were jumping from building to building and keeping up with their car.

Elsa pointed Elias toward the location of the black dragon's hideout. The hideout was a giant warehouse turned to a fight club. There were four guards armed with submachine guns and combat daggers. Not wanting to be spotted, Elias parked far away from the warehouse.

"Okay, what's the plan." Eliot asked.

"I want you guys on the warehouses roof." Elias said. "I want you two to go to the roof and wait for loud sound of chaos or a loud gunshot sound."

"What will you do?" Elsa asked.

"Before I answer that, do you know any allies of the black dragons?" Elias asked.

"There used to be Quan chi." Elsa said. "A bald and very pale sorcerer but news is he is dead. Other than that guy, I really don't know."

"Quan chi? That is good to know." Elias said. "Also, can you tell me how Kano looks like?"

"Half of his face is metal." Elsa said. "His face was damaged in a fight so he has metal face. The metal side of his face has a glowing cybernetic eye that can shoot laser."

"Sounds easy to find." Elias said.

"Okay, will you tell us the plan now?" Elsa said.

"I am going to walk in." Elias said as he handed wonder woman's sword to Elsa.

"I'm sorry what?" Eliot said in shock.

"Hey, can I keep the sword when they kill you?" Elsa asked with a smile.

"Elsa! What is wrong with you." Eliot said angrily.

"What? He never dies." Elsa said.

"Don't worry I have a perfect plan." Elias said and got out of the car.

Elias started to run toward the front guard. Elias didn't run that fast to scare the guards, he was running like he really needed to take a shit.

"Dude, is there a restroom in the club." Elias said sounding really distressed. "I really need to take a shit. I really don't want another brown pants."

"Another?" One of the guards said with a laugh.

"No, you can't." Another guard said.

"Come on man, I have diarrhea." Elias said.

"Come on let the kid in." The previous guard said. "I think all of us felt the pain of a diarrhea while we are outside."

"Fine." The guard said. "There is a small hallway that was made after we took over. Going inside, keep an eye on tour right."

"Thanks man." Elias said and ran inside.

Elias entered and went actually went for the restroom because he actually needed to. He finished his job and started to walk inside toward the fighting ring.

As he got to the main area, he saw a giant cage where two men were fighting to death. There were many men and woman around the cage and cheering for the two. Elias really looked out of place as people seem to mostly wear punk clothing or some people that were confident with their body wore as little as they could.

There was a throne like place that a middle aged guy was sitting on. The guy was had short black hair and beard that was slowly turning gray. His right check, forehead and eye was replaced by metal and his right eye glowed red. The man wore only a camo pants and combat boots and eight daggers were on his belts and boots. He wore no shir, leaving his muscular body open. This was probably Kano.

Elias started to walk toward Kano but he was stopped after a couple of steps by a woman. The woman had short black hair black eyes and light skin. She wore a very skimpy purple outfit and she was a sexy woman. She had a couple of kunai on her belt.

"Going somewhere sweety." The woman said mockingly. "Aren't you a little too young for this place?"

Elias felt the woman was holding her Kunais and was ready to attack. Elias didn't feel anyone looking at them so he looked at the woman's eyes as he grew his new claws. He then with a quick movement slashed the woman's throat. The slash was so quick that it took the woman a few moments to realize she was dead and by that Elias was walking pass her. Elias made sure to keep all blood off of his body with telekinesis and changed his hands back as he walked.

Elias walked toward Kano and as he approached a guy stopped him. The guy's body seemed to be made of stone. From time to time, Elias could see molten gold being seen from the cracks under his skin. He wore some sort of mask that seemed to be more breathing than hiding his face.

"I need to talk to Kano." Elias said while holding his hands up. "I was hired by Quan chi to inform him about an assassin. The special forces wanted him dead so much that they hired some fucking mutant assassin to kill him."

"Quan chi is dead." The rock guy said.

"He is a sorcerer, he probably faked his death." Elias said.

The guy wanted to say something but Kano stopped him and spoke. "Easy Tremor. Let him speak."

The Tremor glared at Elias and then let Elias get closer to Kano. Kano grabbed one of his daggers and Elias felt his laser eye heating up a little as Elias approached. Kano looked Elias up and down and seemed to be interested in the gun Elias was carrying.

"Nice revolver." Kano said as he laid back in the weird metal throne. "Are you exaggerating for something with that big gun."

"I love to stay here and banter for an hour but I need to get paid." Elias said.

"I respect that. Now talk." Kano said.

"Quan chi is alive." Elias said while keeping his hands up. "He is alive and he still pays well. He paid me to come and inform you that there is a mutant assassin looking to kill you. He is a big cat with long ass claws. He really loves to slit throats."

"Really now" Kano said as he pulled out one of his daggers and started to play with it. "And why should I believe some random kid that came here out of nowhere."

"You don't have to." Elias said. "I just have to tell you, take a video of you saying you heard what I said and I will leave."

"That's it?" Kano asked.

"Yeah." Elias answered.

"And what if…" Kano was about to say but he was cut off when he heard a shout from afar. "Someone killed Tasia."

"What?" Kano said angrily and stood up.

"Was it a throat slash." Elias shouted.

That caused Kano to give Elias a look and tried to walk toward the body. Elias started to grow his claws, teeth and both glands. He kept his up and used telekinesis to unholster his gun and bring it to his hand. the guards around didn't realize when Elias was ready to attack.

First Elias aimed the gun at Kano and shot him once in the neck. The shot was powerful enough that kano dropped to his knees. Elias then turned to Tremor and spit acid at his face while he shot Kano again. The acid burned Tremor's face while the second bullet destroyed most of kano's neck. Elias turned to the other guards and emptied his poison gland toward their faces while shooting Kano for the third time. The gun was powerful enough that kano's neck came off.

The guards turned toward Elias and were ready to rush him when suddenly there was a loud crashing sound and from above, Elias with a metal skin crashed on top of people's head. She was dual wielding the swords and had her shield tied to her back. She immediately started to slash people.

There was also a portal that opened up near Elias and Eliot jumped out. Eliot started to create fire balls and shot every one that had gun. He also created arms of smoke and used them to grabbed his daggers and slash people around him.

Tremor was still recovering from the acid attack so Elias ignored him started to refile his glands while shooting and slashing his way toward the other two. After two shots Elias was out so he holstered his revolver kept slashing with one arm while using his strengthened telekinesis and energy manipulation to create energy bullets around his the claws of the other arm and shot the moment any of the bullets were ready.

In a few moments these three monsters were together and were slowly moving toward he exit. It was amazing how easy it was to kill people. Fighting these people in an open battle would have been a disaster but a simple shit trick and he was there killing their leader.

"Child of the purgatory." the loud voice of the angel of purgatory. "Molek a hunter of your kind is here. He can destroy your soul. You should run, now!"

The moment the angel said that, Elias felt a powerful wave of powerful energy started to come toward them. The wave was powerful big enough that it covered the whole warehouse and it was powerful enough that anyone that was hit had their flesh ripped off and only skeletons were left.

"Eliot! Get behind Elsa." Elia said as he jumped in between the wave and Elsa.

Elias felt Eliot get behind Elsa. Elsa also managed to spot the wave coming toward them, she dropped her swords and brought her shied in front of her. She tried to grab Elias but Elias stood a little too far away and she didn't want to leave Eliot unprotected so she stayed.

Elias shut down all of his senses and put all of his focus on energy manipulation. He unleashed his power toward the wave of energy and tried to cut a hole in the wave by sending them to each of his sides away from himself and his siblings behind him.

The power reached Elias and Elias sent them away. The power felt bone crushingly powerful but Elias held his ground and sent the power away. His power faltered at the end of the wave and some of the energy hit Elias. Elias was thrown backward and Elsa managed to catch her.

Elias returned his senses and first checked and felt that both Elsa and Eliot were okay. Then he realized part of his cheeks and his chest were badly damaged in a way that skin and flesh was ripped off.

Elias then saw a mummified corps wearing a bright white armor and holding claymore was walking toward him. The creature's eyes glowing purple orbs of energy and it's skin was completely grey.

"Child of purgatory. I am your end." The creature said.

"Well, shit."
