1 Prologue: Does God exist?

"In the beginning, nothing existed apart from darkness, an expression of nothingness, a property of the overvoid. The thick chaos was tangible and palpable, a realm unfit for even the most adaptable species of life.

Distance was nothing but a fluke, time was non existent. Encompassing it all, was the void, the beginning of all things, and the end of it all.

After what could even be calculated as an eternity, the void shook, as rumblings of thunder and lightning reverberated across the sea of darkness.

"Let there be light!"

A voice, like many waters, resounded, as a ray of light suddenly pierced through the sea of darkness shaking the entire void.

The darkness wrestled against the light, however, wherever that ray of light passed, darkness was vanquished and was no more.

The light materialised into the figure of a tall handsome middle aged man with long dark hair and a white beard. He was dressed in pure white robes that shone with the abstrusities of light itself, as a crown of gold adorned his head.

His face was like the sun, and the gentle and endearing smile on his face seemed to pull all of creation towards himself.

Standing beside him, was a beautiful woman with rainbow coloured hair, wrapped in an apparel that resembled clouds.

Her beauty knew absolutely no limits, and every move she made seemed to radiate majesty and glory. One of her arms was wrapped around the arms of the black haired middle aged man, and every step she took, sent glistening rays of light into the sea of darkness.

Behind them was a mysterious figure, shaped like a woman, however her body seemed to be made up of a swirling mass of chaos and darkness. She had no facial features, but her gaze that rested on the man in white seemed to radiate relief, joy and even a hint of fear.

Letting go of his lover's arm, the white robed man walked to the unending sea of darkness that had gathered at one side with a smile on his face.

*ROOARR!*

The darkness roared, protesting his arrival, however the caring smile on his face spoke volumes, as the darkness calmed down as if sensing no threat from the man.

"My name is Yesh. You do not need to be afraid."

The man stretched out his hand gesturing to the sea of darkness, and as if resonating with his intentions, a large hand stretched out from the sea of darkness and joined together with the hand of the man.

*BOOOM!*

A massive shockwave erupted from the collision, sending waves of dual energies rippling through the canvas of creation.

On that day, light and darkness, concepts on two ends of a spectrum made peace and swore never to cross each other's paths, and rule from two different realms.

The darkness therefore dispersed, becoming an integral part of the canvas, and the very foundation of reality.

"Yesh my dear, it is time."

The rainbow haired woman walked to the white robed man and whispered in his ear which made him smile.

"Khaos, my dear sibling. This world is for us to rule, I, Yesh, Lord of all, reward you with a third of the entire multiverse. You shall live there with your creation, as I promised before."

The man in white patted the shoulder of the faceless woman and tore a hole in reality, gesturing with his hand for her, and with a smile.

"Thank you very much, brother." She bowed solemnly and then embraced him.

"You do not need to thank me, my dear sister, after all we are a family. Do not hesitate to call on me if you need any assistance."

The man in white spoke, as the faceless woman nodded and then entered the hole in reality before it closed behind her.

"Now my dear, let us begin.."

Yesh embraced his lover with a hand, and waved the other. Multitudes of energies exploded out of him with the simplest of gestures, and coalesced into a massive city made out of silver and chrysanthemum, and adorned with gold and emerald.

"I love it. Finally a home for us.." The rainbow haired woman kissed him on his lips, as he embraced her. As the two celestial were locked in a fierce bout of pleasure, energies exploded out of their bodies, mixing together and shaping everything around them.

Three strands of their energies coalesced into three handsome figures.

The first was a handsome man with long golden hair. On his back was six long pure white wings that flapped, sending ripples into the canvas. His dark black eyes rippled with power, and his armour glittered with mettalic sheen, along with the flaming sword in hand.

On his right was another handsome young man, with short golden hair that was far brighter than the previous young man. His body seemed to be carved from the most precious materials. Apart from the rainbow coloured woman, his beauty encompassed everything.

On his back were six pure golden wings that shone with elegant brilliance. Unlike his brother, he was dressed in a simple pure white chiton that shone just like his father.

To the left was another handsome young man with long dark hair. His face was adorned with an endearing smile just like Yesh, and his silver irises gleamed with intelligence.

He was dressed in a black armor and held onto a silver horn in his hand.

As the three of them looked around, they finally caught the attention of the two celestials who looked upon them with love and affection.

"My sons.." Yesh spoke, as his eyes trailed upon his boys like a proud father, while Barbelos, the rainbow haired woman gentle caressed the face of the young man in the white chiton.

"Michael. You shall be my herald. Bearing endless power, your flaming sword shall bring justice and judgement to all of creation."

Yesh pointed to the young man with long golden hair who was dressed in armor with the flaming sword.

"Yes father." Michael responded with a bow.

"Samael. My beautiful boy. Your presence shall illuminate all of creation, spreading joy and happiness." Barbelos looked at the handsome young man in the chiton and spoke.

"You shall shape the endless power within Michael's body and pave the way for creation to begin.."

Yesh blessed Samael as well, as he bowed gently and nodded, like a gentleman.

"Thank you father and mother.." His voice pleasant to the ear.

"As for you, Gabriel, my little hornblower. I want you to use your intelligence to assist your brothers. You shall proclaim the mandate of the heavens to all of creation. I bless you my boy. Distance shall never prove to be a barrier for you.."

Yesh blessed the young man with the horn as he smiled and nodded towards his father.

"Thank you father." Gabriel nodded.

"Now my children. Use your gifts and begin all of creation. Your mother and I shall await your return in the celestial city."

Yesh hugged his wife and disappeared with her, leaving his three sons standing along in the nothingness.

"We must hurry and accomplish the task given to us. Father and mother await our return."

Michael spoke with a smile and headed out.

"And who made you the leader?" Samael complained, and looked at Gabriel who merely shrugged and smiled towards his brother.

"Concerning our task, I might have an idea." Gabriel spoke as the other two brothers looked at him.

"Let's hear it." Michael nodded, as both of them listened to their brother.

After some time, Michael nodded deeply and stretched out his hand, summoning a deep and mighty power from within his body. Samael nodded and stretched out his hand, devouring the power that Michael brought forth, as Gabriel blew his horn.

"It begins…"

*BOOOOMMM!"

A massive explosion occurred, one that even the darkness had never experienced before in its endless lifespan.

An explosion that birthed the very fundamental forces of creation, electromagnetism, strong and weak nuclear forces of attraction and repulsion and gravitational forces. As the very first particles formed, these forces began to act, forming the entire multiverse as we know it.

From giant planets to blazing bodies of heat and light that illuminated the entire multiverse, everything was formed by just three brothers."

"DC comics' story of creation seems a bit better than that of Marvel's, don't you think so?"

Three students seated in a class discussed amongst themselves, after one of them finished a comic in his hand and then yawned.

"I believe in the existence of the Big Bang and all that, but I don't believe that there's a or are Gods or celestial beings that control all of these from some celestial realm."

One of them, a tall handsome youngster, with short dark hair dressed in his uniform spoke in a thick British accent as his friends shook their heads.

"It might not have happened the way DC narrates it, but it's foolish to not believe that there is a greater power that controls everything. I mean look around you, Alan, everything screams the presence of a God like being or a godlike force of energy at work, that is not susceptible to the naked eye."

Beside him, his friend, a skinny young boy with a freckled face wearing glasses spoke with a smile, as he gazed at the setting sun, the beautiful sky and the plants.

"I don't believe it. Unless you have evidence to back your claims, don't get me started on your religious stuff." The proud young boy, Alan spoke with a sneer and picked up his school bag.

"See you guys tomorrow." He waved towards the others and proceeded to walk out of the class with a bored expression.

'Tsk. A God in the world? If there was truly a God in the world, then why do bad things happen to good people?! Where was this God when my mother needed him the most?!'

Walking along a pavement, Alan screamed in his heart and raised his head towards the sky.

Back then, he and his mother were devout worshippers. He had never seen anyone as committed to serving an invisible non existent supreme being like mother.

She believed with all of her heart that God existed, and could answer all prayers. Even when she was shot to death in an alleyway, taking a bullet that was meant for him, she didn't stop believing.

As the light of life slowly left her eyes, her last words to him were;

"Don't stop believing, Alan. Love and serve him with all of your heart."

As her eyes closed, he cried and begged this God to save his mother, no one responded and she passed away, leaving him all alone in this world.

Wiping the tears from his eyes, he stopped to cross the road, seemingly unaware of his surroundings.

Walking absentmindedly across the street, he failed to notice a speeding sports car heading toward him in a rush, above speed limit.

*BANG!*

As the nerve wracking pain struck his body, he lay in a pool of his own blood, as tears dropped from his eyes. The last thing he could swear to have seen was his mother, smiling to him from above. As he reached out his hand to hold her, the light of life slowly vanished from his eyes, as he let out his last breath and closed his eyes forever.
