Chapter 1: Got killed by a trap.

I am dead or more accurately, I am about to be killed by my best friend. Some might wonder, was my best friend truly a friend? Did he have a screw loose? Or did I say something or do something that caused him to kill me?

To those who picked the third option, you are somewhat right but, in my defense, I did nothing wrong. To explain things clearly, my friend has always had a zero-tolerance policy for anything that was not straight.

Since we were little, we were both anime enjoyers, so we bonded quickly. Our favorite anime was Bleach but the difference between us was that I was a manga reader while he was not. Once Bleach anime ended, I continued through the Manga but he did not so he made me promise to never spoil the manga.

When the anime returned, we started watching it separately since I started watching it later than him until I had caught up to the latest episode. Now the reason why he is attempting to stab me with a knife is due to the fact that during the time it took for me to catch up to him, he took a Bleach character as his waifu.

That character was Giselle Gewelle. He posted it online the day before he told me that Giselle was the best Waifu. I laughed so hard that I thought I had broken a rib. He kept bugging me about what was so funny so I asked him to remove the promise of "no spoiler".

His curiosity got the best of him and once the promise was canceled, I told him that Giselle was a guy. His face when he realized that he had posted that a Trap was his and I quote "Waifu for life and all eternity" was priceless. I almost died of laughter, I say almost because the last time I opened my eyes, I saw him with murderous rage in his eyes plunging a knife at me.

Now the reason I said I am about to be killed is because David is now frozen in place and that is the same for my body as well. I would be weirded out if it were not for the transparent blue screen in front of me detailing an offer.

The host can also use the nanites to communicate with a variety of machines and have various results.

This version of the Omnitrix is bonded to its host like the Scarab of Blue Beetle but stronger, it has the same capabilities as a regular Omnitrix and much more.

- Kevin Levin's abilities (From Ben 10): Kevin has the ability to absorb the energy and matter of almost anything through his body at will and utilize it in various ways. If he's not absorbing excessive amounts of matter or biology directly into his body, he becomes wrapped in a coating that leaves his clothes intact.

Kevin's strongest intelligence is his street smarts, he is very wise and knowledgeable in the ways of the world, both on Earth and in other parts of the galaxy. Kevin also possesses a vast scientific and technological knowledge of alien paraphernalia.

-"The Grand Spark", also known as Anodite and Eliatrope's spark (From Ben 10 & Wakfu): You have the potential to awaken all the abilities of an Anodite. You also have the potential to awaken all the abilities of an Eliatrope, on the level of the first six Eliatrope. Upon awakening them, it will cause [Redacted].

- Viltrumite Physiology: Viltrumites have incredibly tough skin and muscles, their internal organs are a bit more durable but essentially are subject to regeneration rather than being strong. Viltrumites are capable of being eviscerated, having their skulls crushed, and suffering limbs being torn off.

Once they heal up, they are stronger than they were before a grievous injury. Viltrumite also possesses super strength, speed, stamina, and much more. You will be part Viltrumite and you will gain all of their powers once you awaken your power though there is a high chance you will be a late bloomer, a very late bloomer.

- "Grand Thinker" ( Rick Sanchez and Azmuth's genius Intellect and knowledge (From Rick and Morty & Ben 10): Even by the standards of the super-intelligent Galvan, Azmuth's mental prowess is considered worlds apart from the rest of his race. He is well-regarded as the smartest being in the universe (or at least 3 to 5 galaxies). His genius, particularly his ability to always plan for every scenario and contingency, caused him to be awarded the title of "First Thinker" by his peers.

Rick has the knowledge to pretty much build everything out of anything, this might be an exaggeration of his intellect, but he knows enough to complement his intelligence with Azmuth's. He has many feats that can prove his intellect such as creating a microverse.

Rick put a spatially tessellated void inside a modified temporal field until a planet developed intelligent life. This then became the Microverse. Rick gave the aliens in the Microverse another invention, known as the Gooblebox, which is a machine that generates electricity that powers everything in their society.

The machine is activated by their work. Unbeknownst to them, the electricity that powers their society, also powers the giant battery they're inside of, which gives Rick's ship infinite power so that he'll never need to pay money, do work, or run out of battery life ever again. The fact that he managed to transport electricity from the Microverse straight to his own Universe just further proves his level of intellect.

-"Arcane Gift", Dubs' skills, Gowther's innate magical power, and Merlin's abilities (From Seven Deadly Sins): Merlin's power of Infinity is a unique and incredibly powerful ability that allows her to keep her spells active until she herself chooses to dispel them. That said, it is very likely that any magical effect she incites will live on, even after Merlin herself dies, should she fail to undo it at that point.

No matter how powerful the spell, Merlin only needs to cast it once for her power to take effect. This alone was sought by the rulers of the two most powerful factions but she also possesses vast knowledge of magic and spells.

As a master craftsman, Dubs is capable of creating weapons of incredible power, such as the Sacred Treasures wielded by the Seven Deadly Sins. He even managed to forge the Coffin of Eternal Darkness, a powerful ritual relic that was used to seal away most of the Demon Clan. He needed the magic of the four clans to forge it but the fact that he knows and is skilled enough to forge such a thing shows the level of his abilities as a craftsman.

Invasion is a power described as a "long-range type" that affects the mind and spirit. It gives the user the ability to manipulate memories and the soul. Dreyfus commented that it may be the most dangerous of all the powers possessed by the Seven Deadly Sins due to its ability to manipulate memories and affect the spirit. You could turn a lifetime's worth of friendship into an unending brutal and deadly hatred.

Arkham Asylum is located on the outskirts of Gotham City and is where those of Batman's foes considered to be legally insane are incarcerated while other foes are incarcerated at Blackgate Penitentiary. Although it has had numerous administrators, its current head is Jeremiah Arkham.

The Asylum does not have a good record, at least with regard to the high-profile cases; most of the staff and guards are corrupt and escapes are frequent, on at least one occasion, an obsessive-compulsive multiple murderer was signed out of Arkham into the care of an incontinent, alcoholic vagrant, on the grounds that he or she "looked like a responsible citizen", and those who are 'cured' and released tend to re-offend.

Furthermore, several staff members, including at least one director, have ended up as residents, notably Dr. Jeremiah Arkham, Dr. Achilles Milo, and even the founder Dr. Amadeus Arkham and, in some incarnations, Doctors Hugo Strange and Charles Nigaff.

Arkham has an escape rate of nearly a hundred percent. This is majorly due to Warden Quincy U. Sharp, the embodiment of everything wrong with Gotham. This man is supposed to be the chief warden inside Arkham Asylum, and according to him, he considers criminals a "cancer".

But in truth, he only bolsters the criminals and sometimes even aids their escape. He frequently accepts bribes (or, if it's the Joker, blackmail) from inmates, and occasionally diverts Asylum funding to his governorship campaigns, leaving the Asylum decrepit and ripe for prisoner escape.

He was even discovered to be murdering patients (real patients, not the criminal masterminds like Two-Face). And as if that wasn't bad enough, he was in league with some of the more dangerous rogues. He kept them from capture so that he wouldn't have to bear the burden of them being set loose and tarnishing his campaign for governor.

If a deal furthered his own ends, he was never averse to it- even if that deal meant setting millions of psychotic murderers loose. Now, Quincy might not be the only problem with Arkham, but he was definitely a major one.

He represents Gotham's political ethic to a tee meaning set only by their own goals often linked to monetary gains, and will do anything- even subvert the law- to reach them… In the cafeteria of the Asylum, a teenager could be seen eating alone.

He is a light-skinned handsome tall boy with wavy, dark hair, brown eyes, and a mole under his left eye and looked to be fifteen or sixteen years old. Other than the regular Arkham Asylum inmate suit and an inhibitor collar, he wears thick glasses that generally obscure his eyes and hide his distinctive mole.

The other inmates seemed to be curiously observing him. This was due to the boy's appearance, he looked like a normal boy who should be in school and would shit his pants if any of them approached him. The reason as to why they were curious was that the boy was in Arkham which meant one thing.

He had a screw loose or two. Normally, even if a kid was crazy, they would send him or her to a different asylum but the boy was admitted to Arkham which was the Cream de la Crazy, every inmate there was either a crazy adult, a mass murderer, a sociopath or a psychopath who avoided the death penalty by pleading insanity.

The inhibitor collar already told everyone that he was a metahuman. Now normally, a low-level inmate would have already gone there and tried to establish dominance but none of the low-level inmates had done so due to the boy's cellmate mysteriously disappearing on the very same night the boy arrived.

The high-level inmates like Joker and Two-Face, did not approach the boy as they were mostly curious about him but did not care enough to move. Spending time in Arkham was boring so they looked for anything that could kill some time.

Suddenly, after the boy finished eating the negative three-star food of the Asylum, he stood on top of the cafeteria table and spoke. This had been different from his usual routine that he did for the past two days.

"I'm getting out of this place and I'm willing to bring others with me for a simple and easy price."

This caught the attention of everyone that was in the cafeteria. This was not the first time someone had said that they were going to escape Arkham or had a genius plan to escape Arkham. Normally the inmates would laugh at this but before they could, Joker stood up and spoke.

"Oh? And is that price exactly? I'm kinda low on Cash right now but I have a joke that is guaranteed to kill ya. HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The boy was not frightened by the clown's laughter and spoke with confidence.

"I just want those that escape with me to thank Batman, next time they see him for blowing up MY CAR!"

He smiled at that last part but everyone could clearly see that he was livid.

"That's it? You are going to free us just to piss off Batman?"

Joker asked bewildered.

"Yeah, that's it, you can do whatever you want as long as you do that, you could even hunt down the tooth fairy for all I care. Now do we have ourselves a deal or not?"

The boy answered back.

"HAHAHAHA! Kid! You have a screwed loose and I love it! You got yourself a deal!"

The Joker said as if he was speaking for every inmate and before any other inmates could refute his worst, the boy took out a small remote with two buttons and pressed one of the buttons. As soon as he did that, everyone metahuman's inhibitor collar was turned off and the power went out inside the building.

"You guys are coming or what?"

The boy said as he touched his inhibitor collar before his whole body transformed into the same material as the inhibitor collar. The boy crushed the inhibitor collar after his whole body had become the same metal as the inhibitor collar, which was a very durable metal.

Once his crushed inhibitor collar fell to the ground, the inmates regained their senses and went on a rampage. They knew that the guards would first be busy with the inmates that have powers escaping so even those with no superhuman power had the chance to escape.

Guards came into the cafeteria with guns and were ready to shoot but their weapons flew out of their hands and went straight towards the small remote the boy and launched into the air after pressing the second button.

The inmates became even more motivated once they saw the guards without their weapons. That day, most of the dangerous inmates escaped the Asylum, especially those in Batman's rogue gallery, like Joker, Poison Ivy, Two-Face, Mr. Freeze, Killer Croc, Solomon Grundy, etc…

Some of the inmates were caught while spray painting "Thanks Batman for blowing up the boy's car!"

This is what would have happened if the Joker humored the boy a bit longer but he just looked around and saw the inmates waiting for his next action. Joker proceeded to laugh at the boy.

"HAHAHA! You can keep a straight face I'll give you that kid, but there is no way you have a plan out of here, you're just another lame newbie who thinks he has what it takes to rally everyone and cause a riot."

"HAHAHA! The kid seriously thought someone was going to join him!"

"That's pathetic!"

The low-level inmates started laughing with the Joker, while those in Batman's gallery of rogues just kept to themselves. They had seen this happen so many times that they knew what was about to happen or at least thought they knew.

In this kind of situation, inmates in the boy's place either lost their cool and attacked Joker or sat down in humiliation. Most of the gallery of rogues were hoping for the former as that would at least give them a show before Joker killed the boy.

"*Sigh* Fine, have it your way but don't come nagging after me once you escape for the nth time that I didn't offer you guys a way out during my escape. [Shunkan Idō]"

*SNAP*

*THUD*

As soon as he muttered the words that meant teleportation while snapping his fingers, the boy disappeared in front of the whole Cafeteria leaving his inhibitor collar in the air for a moment before it fell to the ground. This shocked everyone, even the guards who had just stood there waiting for the Joker to humiliate the boy.

"D-Did he really just vanish from thin air?"

"H-H-He wasn't lying!"

"SHIT! THAT FUCKER LEFT WITHOUT US!"

"Well, he did offer us a way out, I was thinking of humoring him and seeing where it went… AND THANKS TO YOU ASSHOLES, I MISSED MY TICKET OUT OF HERE!"

There was a short silence after the boy left before the inmates slowly regained their sense from the shock, they had just experienced. As they regained their senses, regret came along as they realized they had missed the golden opportunity to escape.

Frustration built up and they needed a way to vent it, some tried to blame the boy for leaving without them but one of the inmates pointed out the illogicality of those claims and then used it to target another inmate as what that inmate wanted was to punch someone verbally since cursing someone was not enough.

This started a massive fight in the cafeteria where the inmates who had once ridiculed the boy claimed that they were secretly planning on humoring him and thus missed the chance to escape due to the other inmates who were laughing at the boy with them.
