6 CHAPTER 5: A PATROL

BEN POV

During the night, New York is very peaceful but many people knew many crimes such as robbing, attempting to do rapes to some females and murder people for revenge will happen in many secluded places every night.

But now, with me patrol the city during the night like the certain bat-themed superhero from the damn city that is so gloomy with the crime rate is far higher than New York City.

How can someone is still sane living in that city that has a clown that just leisurely many people in a single night?

Thought of killing that joker linger in my mind? I mean, if he does, Gotham will be at least "more" peaceful right.

I am saying about Joker that evil clown who kill many people in a day.

Nah, let's just call him super insane and psychotic clown that has obsessed with Batman with the caped crusader is the same.

I guess I am just going to follow my seniors in the fanfiction where some of them kill the Joker which will make a lot of people happy hearing his death.

"Where is she? She is late." I grumbled as I am on the top of a library building with me is wearing the hero suit that invented by myself.

Technically, this hero suit is based exactly like Rook's suit but with the armour, colour is dark blue with my mask is like Captain America, the MCU Version with the word "A" is replaced with the symbol of my Omnitrix.

And strapped on my right shoulder is the protocol and the first version of my Proto Tool where I decide to stick with a simpler one first as it looks a lot like Storm Fire from RWBY.

The basic weapon is simple as the bullets are the one who paralyses the stunned the enemies with the blades, are something shape that can stab through a stone, and if you ever put all your strength into it, the chance of you to slash apart a boulder is huge.

Of course, on my waist is a belt that has many gadgets that I build using my aliens.

On my hand right now is a compass lookalike but showed a holographic circle of the New York City with it is now playing the radio frequency of the police.

It makes my job easy to know either the crops needed my help to chase and beat some tougher or smart criminals in the city.

Hearing footsteps behind me, I release a sigh.

"You are late," I said toward her and turn my head to see her, Lilith Clay who is wearing her hero costume which is pretty much a light green jacket with a face mask, a green one that covers her lips and nose.

"Oh Ben, sorry for coming late but you know the deal of me has to trick my guardian to sleep. Still feel guilty using my power to make my guardian feels sleepy you know." She informed me as I groan knowing this girl has decent control and smart use her power but this is the first time she will do patrol as a heroine with me, a man who is trying to become a hero and decide to do what is right.

"Anyway, what's with your suit?" She asks me as I smirk.

"Are you jealous of me who had my hero suit rather than wearing some green hood and mask that you can buy easily in some kind of bundle clothing store hmm?" I ask her and she pinches me making me yelp in pain.

"Ouch. Fine. Sorry but seriously you need to " upgrade" your suit you know. Besides, maybe you should have some defensive weapon in case your power suddenly goes awry." I said to her.

"Do not worry but I am a black belt in both Taekwando and Karate. So enough of prep talking, come on, I am itching to beat some criminals right now." She said to me as I roll my eyes hearing that as I know what to go.

"Ann's Jewellery Store. A robbery is currently happening." I told her.

"The one which is beside the Comic Books store, the one who has that old man that always wears his headphone listening to the classy song right?" She asks me as I nodded my head.

"That is 2.5 kilometres away from here. So see you there." I jump to another building.

"Not fair," Lilith said as she decides to user her power which makes her float as a light green aura surrounded her body as she slowly hovers toward me who is doing some parkour stunts while jumping to many buildings.

"Wish I can record this right now and upload it to Youtube but that will give away my identity." I thought in my head as I see Lilith, who now is on my left as we arrive at the jewellery store as 3 huge men who have the body like the Rock with 2 of them have a machete, a huge one with the middle one who is wearing a tank top and has a beard while the tower 2 are not.

And a scar on his left eyebrows makes me think he is the leader as he is holding an AK-47 who is shooting toward the police while the other 2 are stuffing many bags into the van near them.

The policemen are in a pinch as I see out of 4 cops, 2 have been hit by the assault by the leader's AK-47, while the other 2 are shielding themselves from being hit.

Of course, the leader or badly is some sort of metahuman as I see how his muscles seem to bulge a little bit, especially when both of his legs got bigger and stomp the ground making the police to miss their shots.

No wonder the cops are having a hard time defeating them.

"Okay. On my mark, you will handle the 2 guys. Knock away their huge machetes but he aware. They may have a handgun on their body. I will attract their attention first. After that, I will give a single for you to take action. Do you understand?" I ask Lilith who nod her head.

"Okay. I understand." She replied as I hop to the ground and leap in front of the cops as without greeting the villains, I throw 6 smoke pellets directly hitting the leader face as he winces as smoke now has clouded his vision and make him uncomfortable with him may inhale the smoke that is in front of him.

Deciding to make use of my tool, Storm Fire, I rush toward the Leaded who is coughing as I stab his right feet making him scream in pain as I shot a stunning bullet that hit his chest as he seems to be in a trance as he takes a step backwards.

Taking this chance to make him fell backwards, I quickly swipe his leg as his body fell to the ground.

"Now!" I said as my voice now has been slightly modulated due to a chip on my attire.

Of course, I give this to Lilith too. Did not want some genius people to discover our identity by using our voices, the real one.

Lilith descends near the 2 cronies who I expected to throw their machete toward her and take out a handgun from their waist but, I quickly throw kunai on the handgun, jamming them as Lilith already freeze the machete on the air and blast them back hitting the cronies, on their head with the handle of the machetes.

Sensing movement from behind me, I see the leader glares at me.

"Who the fuck are you two supposed to be? Some kind of wannabe vigilantes like Batman and Green Arrow?" He asks us.

"No. We are the heroes." Lilith replied and float trash bin and throw it toward the Leader who smacks it away and point his gun toward Lilith but I am faster as I slice apart his gun, as he tries to kick me but I take a step backwards and shot my stunned bullet to his forehead but he avoided it and swing his right fist toward me but I avoid with me deliver a roundhouse kick to his head staggering him as Lilith then kick his face sending him a fee step backwards.

"You go up and I go below," I tell Lilith.

"Copy that." I dash toward the Leader who just gets up but sadly is greeted by my elbow that hit his nose, almost breaking it.

After all, I did decide to do this hero "stuff" in a nice and good way first. But then again, with rapists, leaving them in broken bones are the last thing I will do toward them.

I duck as Lilith use my shoulder and jump over me and delivers a dropkick on his head that makes him bite his tongue as he moans in pain due to that.

Lilith then makes a push motion that makes the leader have his body get push backwards hitting the police car as I run past her with ne jump as my feet has a green aura that makes me able to move faster as I got a push wish as punching his head a little hard, knocking him out.

I am on top of the cop cars 4 of them are staring at me in disbelief.

"You cops, are the real heroes," I said the sentence from a certain rip-off, Superman namely, Homelander.

"Ciao." I bid them goodbye as Lilith use her power to make us both float on a building 5 blocks away from that place as a police truck arrives.

"Not bad for our first patrol," Lilith commented as I grin hearing that.

"So, want to go for another round of defeating some criminals?" I ask her as she nods her head.

"But this time, I am going hero." I turn on my Omnitrix, as I select an alien as I pressed down the watch as orange fur surrounded me.

"ROARR(Wildmutt!)" I roar as Lilith is surprised seeing my current form.

"Umm. Ben, are you still there?" She asks me but I just nod my head.

"So what does this current form does?" She asks me another question as I just growl while sniffing in the air as my vision now makes me see many things that I am unable to see from human perspectives.

What I am seeing right now is a 3D mapping around me as coupled with my enhance smell, hearing, my senses that take the form of sonar and radar, allowing me to perceive my environment completely.

Besides, in this form, I also can see something invisible.

"I notice you are unable to talk in this form," Lilith said to me as I nod my head, signifying my answer as a "Yes" for her question.

I keep sniffing as then the smell of blood can be smelt across the road, behind the toy store in front of me.

*GRR* I growl as Lilith open her mouth.

"What's wrong?" She asks me as I look at her and tilt my head, hoping her to understand me.

"There?" She points her head toward the direction that I want as we both go there as I buried my claws into my wall and pull myself up on a building with Lilith make user of her power to levitate herself following my movement.

On top of the building, I move slowly reaching the edge of the building and then look below only to see a man who is holding his stomach with 2 men, one who is wearing a cap and the other is a bald person is rummaging through his wallet and briefcase.

I bark and then jump toward the bad headed person with Lilith drop to the man face, delivering her sole on his face as the man on the cap try to push me away but I open my mouth making him scared seeing my sharp teeth with me keep growling, threatening to bite his nose off.

Lilith already levitates a trash bin and throw directly towards the man head and then shot a decent rock, the same size as a baseball on his chest making the man fell on the floor.

That must hurt as I then bite the man shirt and throw it to the wall, then us my paw to palm thrust his chest very hard cracking the wall, which will break his sternum, at least as I then smack his face away.

I turn my head only to see the poor man who is holding his bleeding stomach as I see, he is in a very critical condition.

"I can pull the knife off," Lilith said but I shake him as I tap my Omnitrix as my orange fur has turn into blue and black skin with my face now is a bit like Wolverine's hero mask.

"Fasttrack!" I announced as I pick the bleeding man and look at Lilith.

"You stay here, wait for the cops come to arrest them. Meet me at the place where we first met." I said to her as she nods her head, with me already dashing toward the nearest hospital.

"Okay. Turn right." I head to my right and then sees the local hospital with me barging, and at the same time, slowing myself since this form is quite hard when it comes to stopping.

"Attention ladies and gentlemen!" I said a bit loud to gain all the hospital occupant ants.

"We got an injured person here." I continued as a doctor with a nurse take away the customer with me then turn my body back to run out from this place.

Sound of the camera can be heard along with. flashing as I squint my eyes a little bit with me make my move to get out of here.

"What an eventful night we have last night," Lilith said to me as I just keep quiet as I am looking at an article from the online news, published by the New York News.

"ALIEN HERO, TO THE RESCUE AGAIN!"

"NEW HEROINE EMERGES."

"THE RISE OF DUO OF HERO AND HEROINE IN NEW YORK."

"What a lucky day for my first patrol," Lilith commented seeing the news making me roll my eyes as I know right now, we have gained the attention of Justice League and other worldwide known villains.

"From now on, we need to cover our tracks more careful. After all, some secret organisations may track and threat us to work under them." I tell her as she nods her head until someone bumps into Lilith with me only sees a purple hood and a crystal mark on the forehead of a familiar teenage girl.

"S-sorry." The girl in a purple hood mutters to Lilith who just smiles.

"Nah. It's alright. I have not seen you before? Are you a transfer student?" Lilith asks her.

"Yes, I am from Detroit." She replied as I just keep quiet, knowing, she possibilities the most dangerous person I have met so far since his father is the interdimensional demonic being dedicated to dominating the entire universe.

He is kind of like the Dormammu from the Marvel Universe universe if you are confused.

"Want me to show where the teacher lounge?" Lilith asks her Raven meekly nodded her head.

Both girls walk away leaving me who just release a sigh as I enter my classroom, and just lay my head on my desk.

Closing my eyes, I am about to take a short nap but with the arrival of my Homeroom teacher, Mrs Mary, who has Raven beside her with Lilith already take her place.

"Okay, class. Today, we have a new student who joins our classroom today." She announces as she nudges for Raven to introduce herself toward us.

"My name is R-Rachel Roth. Nice to meet you guys." She introduced herself.

Of course, she stutters when she introduced herself but I ignore that knowing how very dangerous this girl is since if she ever goes rogue, this school can say goodbye to the ground when it gets blown off due to this girl outrage.

"Hmm. Okay, I am at least know, I can take her down if she ever loses control herself. But the problems the aftermath. Some minion of Trigon may come to this planet to take Raven away or Trigon, himself will do himself to bring Raven with him to his place.

Which spells trouble but I am going to let the future me handle that.

One problem at a time, since I now need to worry about the current problem which is the name of my hero name and the possibility some strong villain invade this city, or maybe if some cult tries to kidnap Raven, like the live-action of the Titans.

" Okay. I from now on need to widen my network and may need some "eyes" that can inform me what is currently happening around me and this city.

I also need to keep an eye on Raven, which is to figure if she already knows how to use her powers, knows her connection to Trigon and is she still lives with her mother.

Looks like I need to tail her from far, or I can just ask Lilith to do it since she is friendly toward her.

Meanwhile, I need to "upgrade" my hero suit and weapon. Hmm. My mask too since I need to build white lense that covers my eyes and act a bit like Iron Man's control panel, the holographic and futuristic one.

Then, vehicles, that is almost done and need only some equipment and then, I will have my ride that is cooler than Batmobile.

But still, I need it to be able to go much faster than any vehicle, survive any kind of environment and the most important are powerful weapons that need to be installed in the vehicles for it to take down enemies.

With many ideas and imagination that I intend to try by using my alien transformation, I cannot wait to go back to my living place to execute my plans on my vehicle.
