1 Chapter 1

Shit I thought as I had the worst headache I had in life all his life, as I looked around I realized I wasn't anywhere I knew, but I didn't find it strange, no what more strange is to be alive since I was supposed to be dead. Since I can remember I had to fight for what I had, I was born as the only child of a couple that since I can remember my father was a drunkard, from which my mother and I fled when I turned 5 years old we went to a home for women which the owner gave her a job and a house which she bought with what she worked, my childhood despite the shortages was happy because I did not have to worry about anything. My life was happy until my mother was diagnosed with stage 2 cancer at the age of 15. At that time she had just graduated as a teacher and when she received the news and told me. I was stunned and shocked, I didn't know what to do, I just hugged her and told her everything was going to be okay. At that moment I knew I had to do something, I talked to my school and they let me go free, since I was going to work and take care of my mother who was angry to know that I was going to work, I was able to get a part-time job that paid me, it was in a car and motorcycle store. With the money I earned I paid a nurse to be with my mother while I was gone.

The first year was hard because of the chemotherapy and I could not sleep that year practically because although I had the nurse she was not there when I was at home because I preferred to take care of her. It was a hard year but at the end of the year my mother was in remission which I was very happy about and we celebrated, this did not last long as the doctor had told us that the cancer was likely to come back which we knew. But we had a whole year to enjoy and I went along with her.

At the end of the year she was told that the cancer had metastasized and she only had a year to live, at that time I did not cry but when we got home and I saw that my mother was asleep, I went out and cried I could not believe it after all she had been through how could this happen to her, it was as if something was broken.

That year I knew I had to earn money, more than what I earned in the garage, I improved the car that the owner of the garage gave me and I took it to a competition where we bet money, it was the first time I won money in a competition which made me very excited. I remember that every Saturday I told my mother that I was going to work and I competed in those races. The money I got was a lot, I would bet it again when 2 months passed I was able to save up to not work for a year, she had 10 months left to live I told her I didn't need to work as I had enough money to stay with her until the end of the year she cried and told me to go back to school which I did in a forced way. She wanted to see me receive which I did, moving up courses due to an exam I took.

Every day I studied because I wanted to see her graduate, because she told me it was a dream she had, she wanted to see that I had a future. So I did, I graduated from school and she was very happy and that was one of the happiest moments of her life.

In the last month she could not get out of bed and they moved her to a hospital where I visited her.

April 2021. General Hospital, oncology ward.

I remember when she died, those last moments, that last visit, thinking that I could do something more, that I could do something more for her and not being able to do it, feeling useless.

"Leon we knew she was going to die, we knew it was my last moment, I'm glad to see the person you've become and to know you have a future. You are a very intelligent person and I know this may hurt you a lot, knowing that I am not going to be there for you, you finished high school and you did it carrying your work and me, I know you don't consider me a burden, but I want you to know that this is not going to be the end for you, I want you to keep going forward to do everything you set your mind to and want to do, don't forget who you are and whatever you do I want you to know that your mother will always love you and will be looking out for you. Don't regret doing something but don't do it, everything has a solution except death in my case haha cough cough cough go ahead and I love you my son"-Mother.

In the hospital room was Leon's mother saying her last words to him with a smile barely holding the visa until she said her last "I love you" to her son.

"Mom, mother, mom I love you, I will live with no regrets, don't worry" -Leon.

As Leon cried by the bed where his mother's body lay he said goodbye to her in tears as he realized he was alone in this world with no one by his side.

Pov 3 person

Half a year was what it took Lion to move on, he spent half a year at home watching anime, comics, novels, movies and watching fanfictions on websites, only winning illegal races on weekends and being locked up at home again. After half a year he came out of his depression, some may think it was too much or too little, but everyone who has ever lost someone close to them knows that a loss is forever and this is something you never forget, you only get over it if you put your mind to it. He started by taking courses of many things he wanted to learn in his life, he learned many things, he took tattoo courses, computer courses, he went to martial arts schools, he had many relationships with women but he never got attached or did not think they were ideal for him.

He did everything he wanted until he was 23 and you could say he had more experience than many people twice his age, he was proud that he was finally living the way his mother wanted, you could say he lived the way his mother would be proud of him.

Pov Lion.

I was in the busiest bar in town,while watching the bar for my next date I approached a girl who looked like a trooper,we talked for a while until some idiots approached who looks like they know her,saying if I bothered her or whatever,they looked jealous,the idiot pushed me with which I told him if I did it again I would beat him up and he told me to go to hell.

"You think you're so smart but you know there are 5 of us and you're just one"-idiot 1

"You know since I can remember I've seen a lot of guys like you who think they are important because they have a couple of men by their side, but you know you are nothing without your groupies haha"-Lion

"who do you think you are son of a bitch come here"-idiot2

He yells in my face as the idiot next to him approaches me.

There are many things I can tolerate but not insulting my mother. At that moment I observed him approaching me when he was in my range I hit him in the face while kicking the idiot2, in the balls if life taught me anything is that she is a bitch and she will hit you where it hurts the most and I learned from her. Before I could react idiot3 hit me in the head and I reacted by giving him a right hook while idiot4 and 5 grabbed my arms idiot1 came over to hit me.

When he heard me he got angry and tried to hit me, I reacted by doing something I always wanted to do, a spartan kick in his chest taking advantage of them grabbing my arms. I think I heard something break. I headbutted the idiot5 while the idiot4 hit me with a bottle, my head started to bleed, the fight went on for a while. I was already sore and with my head bleeding my lip cut and a few bruises on my body, I think I would be sore tomorrow, but the idiots were on the floor and with that I walked out to the bar while waving to the security guy who was an acquaintance who just smiled as I told him no one was to get involved. I walked up to the bar and ordered a drink, at which point a man said.

"good fight"

"yes I know, I don't do it often but one should know how much one can insult another person"-lion

"there were five of them and you were only one, wouldn't it be better not to fight? .by the way my name is Clive Owen"-Clive Owen

"My name is Lion, you know once when I was a kid I had a problem with a person and I was picked up at my house by a bunch of his friends to beat me up by myself, you know what my mother did? She went outside and told them that she was going to go out and fight them one on one haha.

I smiled as I remembered when my mom made me fight many one on one.

"Wow you have a good mom"-Owen.

I was impressed by the way the mother reacted as this made no one bother the person in question again as who would want to fight someone who fights many in succession no matter how many they lose.

"Yes I had a good mother, that's why I won't stop fighting if someone insults her, no matter how many people besides me, and you know a person once said "there is no situation with no way out" haha"-Lion.

As he recalled Star Trek and the Kobayashi Maru.

"You know I'm a special forces commander, the idiots you beat up are part of this one and I wanted to know if you wanted to join the army, maybe in 5 years you can join the special forces."-Owen

I was thinking about Commander Owen's words as there were few things that interested me at the moment.

"You know I will and don't think I will join in 5 years I will and in 2 years I will be part of the special forces and in 3 years I will be leading the best team there can be haha"-Lion.

"HAHAHAHA I'll take your word for it future soldier, I hope to see you be the best haha!"

Owen while laughing took a long drink.
