15 CHAPTER 13:POWER UP 2 AND RETURN
BRENDAN POV
Opening my eyes, I see I am in a tube with yellow sunlight that filled up my body as I for once feel powerful, no hunger or thirst is felt by me.
"Young Master," Sebas called me as he put on the chicken chop and spaghetti in front of my containment.
"A containment that I and My Master build in case we need to entrapped Kryptonian. Originally, these tubes that contained yellow sunlight is a red sun flare but I " custom" it for your body to, umm, what is the word that human says "
"filled in." Diana continued as she enters with a smile.
"Yes. That is the word I am searching for." Sebas said to me.
"So, you are keeping my lover legacy good." Diana then shows me a newspaper with a headline with my picture with a fallen Superman, Flash, Rival and the Old Flash.
"OVERHAUL STRIKE HEROES AGAIN WITHOUT MERCY!" The article is written makes me chuckle that I indeed did not show any mercy toward them.
"So how long I have been knocked out?" I ask them.
"2 weeks," Sebas replied.
"So, umm, can you tell me what I can do exactly right now?" I ask them.
"The scanner shows right now you are still a human albeit now with Kryptonian Physiology. What you do with your power make your body to be assembled back to become a human who has Superman's power mostly and it seems to be amped up your other abilities. "
"Kryptonite. How will my body react to Kryptonite?" I ask Sebas.
"It will hurt you but not that much. The pain is something you can endure. Though it seems right now, your body should by right now is almost the same standard as Superboy right now since your process of process solar radiation is faster than him. When you have Superman's blood in you, his power, albeit almost not full power seemed to blend in your body which amped your solar radiation. And, I need to change the yellow sun radiation tube again. This is about 15th time I have to change them." Sebas said to me as I grin knowing I now become a lot more powerful than before.
"More power which means you need to train them. Especially your strength right now. If you did not careful control your strength, you will have a hard time to conceal your identity of a normal human. Albeit you already defeated many superheroes and supervillains." Diana said to me making me blink my eyes.
"Oh, man," I mutter as I tap the glass which then breaks easily as I fell to the ground on my face which did not hurt my face or crack it, rather it hurt the wall and crack the floor.
"Point taken," I said to Diana.
"With the Justice League right now is in an uproar with your action past days, I take my leave to take care of you. And I have a lot of free time to teach you how to fight and control your powers." Diana told me with a grin.
"Urghh. Remembering her hit on my body make me shudder even though I know I can goes par with her but without Overhaul and Still Force, I am screwed fighting against her and the other being who Is strong as her.
" Okay. But first, let me filled in my body with yellow sun first for 3 days okay." I tell her.
"Sure," Diana replied.
3 days later, in a wide room, I and Diana are sat opposite to each other as I am flexing my muscles.
Turn out my body right now has become a little big with my height become taller. Previously, I am 168 cm, but right now, I am 171 cm.
"Ready?" Diana asks me as I grin hearing that.
"Ready." Diana appears in front of me as she delivers a right hook that I tried to take on that make me did not crash to the wall rather only fly a few distances backwards.
Of course, this is merely me using my newest Kryptonian's abilities.
So no magical detect, Still Force and of course all my quirks.
My vision then suddenly goes haywire as I see a naked Diana and then her skull which makes me curse knowing my super eyesight decide to go havoc at this moment.
Her movement can be seen clearly by me as I avoid her kick and hit her stomach with a palm thruzt that only send her a few step backwards as I switch my eyes focusing for my gaze to become normal.
"You are having a problem with your eyesight," Diana said to me as then my ears hear the sound of an egg being fried, clock thinking, people chatting with each other and the humming from Sebastian as I fell on my knees as all my sixth sense starts to goes haywire.
"B..an." A female voice called me as I know it belongs to Diana but her voice is like a mosquito.
"Br..dan. H..r....ce."
"Brendan. Hear my voice!" A shout from her making me snap out as she screams all her might on my right ear as my super hearing now has cancelled out the other voices.
"Look at me and focus on my voice. Push away all the other voices and focus only on me." She said to me as I start to take a deep breath as my hearing and sight now has calmed down.
Minutes pass as now, I am now can likely controlling my hearing and eyesight.
"Thanks." I thanks, Diana.
"You are welcome." She told me as she helps me to stand up.
But then she judo flip me as I wince in pain as my back feels a tingle of pain.
"Do not be your guard down," Diana said tom as she winks at me as I move my finger and flick her forehead sending her to move forcefully backward as she grabs her forehead.
"You should take that advice too," I tell her as I leap toward and delivers an axe kick that cracks the ground as she swings a kick toward my face but I hold her leg albeit my right feels a little tinge of pain as I swear by arm muscle almost torn due to the strength of her kick.
I then spin my body very fast as I freed her as her body fly to the wall but she manages to halt on the air and then dives toward me with a kick as I cross my arm.
And she headbutts me making me a bit dizzy as she then swept my leg off the ground with her knee now on my chest.
Her fist now is literally in front of my face as I sigh in defeat seeing I lost to her.
"1 win for me. We will fight again but this time all out. You still did not get comfortable with your current body." Diana said to me in a strict tone as I get up while taking a deep breath.
"Let's start." I dash to her and start to punch her right arm with many punches rain down on her as she kicks me on my stomach and knees my face.
"Fight seriously!" Diana said to me as she delivers many jabs on my face and the one-two punches as I just grit my teeth enduring her hits.
She then decides to punch my right cheek but I then grab her fist as I then uppercut her to the air with me leap over her and kick her on the head back to the ground.
I curl both my fist into one and smash her as she met my smash with a punch that causes us a shockwave that makes both of us move backwards for a little bit.
Launching myself toward her, I deliver many punches that she parties away but I knee her gut and then kick her face as she fell on her knees.
"That is more like it," Diana says as her speed start to increase as I keep slap away her punches and move my body in any directions from getting knee, backhand and sucker punch by the Amazonian Princess as I decide to copy her moves.
I aimed to swipe her leg but she jumps but I use my arm to make me launch toward Diana and punch her face.
A right hook misses her as she punches me straight on my nose as I just endure the pain on my nose and judo flip her with all my strength as her back land on the ground.
I start to hammer her with many punches as I start to increase my pace of punches as they turn blurry but she then manages to block both my fists.
A kick land on my stomach as I take a few steps backwards as Diana start to assault me with many punches but my eyes start to see all her punches albeit my eyes unable to follow the track of her punches which resulted in me getting hit by all her punches as she then knocks me out with a punch on my head to the ground.
"Ruthless as always." A voice that Diana loves to hear the sound as a hologram of the older Overhaul appear behind her as the Princess smiles brightly seeing her lover.
"Hmm. This " me" really need to learn hand to hand combat. I can say the reason he manages to beat Superman, Flash, Rival, Black Adam and another superhuman being because of how he used all his powers smartly.
And due to him has gotten used of applying the Strength Force on his body that makes him able to deliver an injury to the likes of Superboy.
But with his current physiology, he has a hard time to adjust. But he did well. Train him more. What is his age again?" OO(AN: OLDER OVERHAUL) ask Diana.
"14 years old, almost to 15," Diana replied.
"Hmm. His magic, I can see he mostly copied my style of using Black Arts. Not bad if I had to admit."
"You guys are Homo Magi. No doubt you guys are proficient with magic." Diana said.
"Keep eyes on him. I need to kick Sinestro's ass and some Red Lantern who are jerks." Older Overhaul said to Diana as she kisses him even though it is holographic.
"Just do your work. Do not worry, the other women that are so highly attracted to you will not find him." Diana said to him.
"You truly are the Alpha." He said as Diana smiles hearing that.
TIME SKIP
A month passes as Brendan Hunter, the one who is dubbed as Overhaul, right now is in front of a portal with him wearing a black gem ring that opens the portal to his universe.
"I am going to be back after a week staying there," Brendan told Harrison, Jesse, Diana and Sebas.
"Yeah, we know. Make sure keep posted us what you do. " Diana said to me.
"Send my " regard" to Zoom," Harrison said to me.
"Seriously?" I ask him as he smiles hearing that as he put his arm over her daughter's neck.
"Make sure kick some heroes ass," Jesse said to me.
"And please, if you ever get bored of your universe, just return to this one," Sebas told me as I walk through the portal while waving them goodbye.
"So, anyone wants to bet how he dealt with Flash, Zoom and Green Arrow?" Jesse suddenly ask.
"200 dollars he will shame Flash by beating in his own game," Harrison announced.
"Hmm. Ah, I bet 250 dollars he is going to at least snap Oliver's back to remind him to not piss him off." Diana said.
"For me, 300 dollars Zoom will be dead with him will show the corpse of the evil speedster to the whole world," Sebas said.
"Okay. Guess I need to go with Sebas's wager then." Jesse said as they all return to their place.
BRENDAN POV
"Hmm. Behind the Jitters huh?" I mutter as I walk while place my backpack into my storage ring, which located beside my universe portal ring.
"Maybe I should grab a coffee? Or not?" I see aa man who just enters the Jitter from the back door.
"Vandal Savage." I thought in my head as my half right my body now is envelop by Black Mist as a huge black mist appears in front of me as it leads me into the second floor of the jitter.
"Oh, that is so romantic." I thought in my head as Cisco and Kendra, back away as Vandal takes out his ancient dagger.
He throws them toward them but I make my appearance as I land in between them and use my black mist to make them appear behind Vandal but the immortal skillfully catches them back.
"O-overhaul," Cisco said in a fearful tone.
"Get away from this place," I tell him without even bother to look at him as Cisco pull Kendra away as both of them get out from Jitters as Vandal look at me.
"You, are young but that gaze of yours, intrigued me." Vandal said to me.
I did not reply as I shot many icicles toward him but he avoided and in a second he covers both of our distance.
I hold his right hand which now try to stab my knee as the other hand meanwhile has gone through my blast mist as a kick hit his stomach.
Combos of punches landed on his body as he fell on his knees as I deliver a left hook on the face that sends him to crash through the wall.
My right hand now is coated with blue fire as I blast it toward him creating an explosion that surely at least, injured him.
But for them again, this guy is immortal so I will let him live for now.
Stepping out from the destroyed Jitters, I am greeted by the sight of Flash, Cisco and Kendra as the speedster seems to be aware of me.
Of course, he should, after all,l, I defeated Zoom easily, not him and stab his knee and Oliver's Queen right shoulder deeply.
That should give him a scar that he remembers.
"Brendan." He calls out my name as I look at him.
"Well, well look who it is. Isn't it a beautiful reunion between us Flash?" I ask him but he did not reply.
"How a farewell gift? Enjoy your place offline for 3 days and how your knee goes? How long does it take for it to be healed? I make sure I did not stab you that deeply." I tell him as he just clenches his fist.
"Look. I did not want to fight you. But you must need to give up this way of your current life. You are just a teenager. Have a new life." Oh man, is he about to use Talk No Jutsu like Naruto does?
"Yeah. No. Nope. I enjoy myself living his way. Doing what I want and deliver justice. Besides, I already defeated Zoom which you fail so. So, where is my medal, I mean the Central City gives you one right? Wait a minute. Is it supposed a key?"
"Sorry, Brendan but I must take you in." The foolish scarlet speedster runs toward me with all his might making me realise how idiot he is.
"Change your tactic dude." I step the ground like a pillar of rock rises as it hit the Flash on his stomach as he got send to the air.
A blast of ice hit his body sending him to crash on a car as his suit now is covered in ice.
"Flash!" Cisco calls out his name as I smile seeing this.
"I thought you are supposed to be a hero Brendan," Cisco said to me.
"Of course I am one. You guys are the one who thought that I am not one. Open your eyes Cisco, soon, you will realise my way of handling the villains will be effective in this forsaken world. Ciao." I disappear using my black mist as Cisco stood there while looking at the Flash who is now freezing his body.
Taking our his phone, he calls for Joe West, the only man who can help him right now.
"Sup Cisco? You want advice from me for your date?" Joe asks Cisco.
"No. I need you to pick me, my date and a freezing Barry here." He said to Joe who gasps hearing that.
"Is it Snart who did that to Barry?" Joe asks him.
"No. Not Snart." Cisco replied.
"Then who?" Joe asks Cisco.
"Overhaul," Cisco replied.
"My God. He is here. He is in Central City?" Joe ask.
"Yes,e. It's a long story but just pick us up right now." Cisco said to Joe.
"Be there in a minute," Joe told him.
STAR LABS POV
"Are you saying Overhaul did this to Barry again?" Iris West ask Cisco.
"Yes, Iris. Overhaul, or should I say Brendan did this to Barry." Cisco said as Barry right now is drinking a hot chocolate drink.
"Great. Now he is here. Should we call for back up? I mean Oliver and his team?" Caitlin ask.
"Yeah, that is a good idea," Cisco said as she proceeds to call Felicity.
"It's been about a month since he has disappeared. But he seems to be not losing his touch." Joe said.
"Why the police never issue a capture on Overhaul?" Iris asks her father.
"As much as I have to say this, this city owes him a thank for defeating the evil speedster and with many people who seemed to favour his action toward the criminals, we cannot arrest him. It will cause many people who favour him to revolt against us." Joe explains to his daughter.
"Remember, he is the reason why Zoom is captured, Caitlin did not get captured by Grodd and defeated Doctor Light," Joe added.
"And also the reason why the city is a bit peaceful without Zoom sends his evil metahuman cronies to this universe." Barry chimed in as they all stared at him.
