Chapter 124: Hyperspeed

Batcave.

The lighting was slightly dim, and various peculiar items were on display. A huge mechanical dinosaur stood on one corner of the exhibition, towering over two people, with a giant coin stored on the wall and a giant joker card hanging on the rocky wall.

Everything was here. The cave was equipped with a supercomputer, surveillance devices, generators, a forensic laboratory, a medical ward, private research rooms, a training dojo, a manufacturing workshop, an arsenal, an aircraft hangar, and a garage. Display cases held the Bat-suits and Robin suits.

The defenses of the Batcave were comparable to a fortress. The cave had its own independent network to isolate hackers. Wayne Manor, located above the Batcave, was also equipped with undetectable alarms unless someone had super speed to bypass them.

A supernatural barrier was erected in the cave, preventing teleporters and magicians from tracking and infiltrating the Batcave.

The Batcave even had a Bat-robot that looked exactly like Batman, responsible for attacking visitors and equipped with Kryptonite.

Even Superman couldn't easily invade Batman's secret base.

Alfred, dressed in a tuxedo, stood upright with a plain face, holding a white towel in his hand. He always looked like a British gentleman butler.

The Batmobile roared as it sped into the entrance of the Batcave from half a mile away at the foot of the mountain near Wayne Manor. With a perfect spin and drift, the sleek black Batmobile came to a stop in its designated spot.

The rooftop opened, and Batman, who had just finished fighting crime, descended from the car. His physique was strong, and the Bat-armor highlighted his well-defined abs. The Bat-cape draped behind him as he walked towards Alfred, removing his Bat-helmet to reveal his chiseled face. In a deep voice, he asked, "Is there an urgent matter that requires me to return to the Batcave? I was close to finding the location of Bane."

"Sir, I observed you wandering around all night," Alfred shrugged indifferently and handed the white towel to Bruce, who had a firm expression and a determined gaze. With an unconcerned and leisurely tone, Alfred said, "It's nothing much, just that the Batcave has been invaded, and the intruder sent a picture."

Bruce, still wiping his face, paused in his actions, his heart skipping a beat. He quickly tossed the towel aside and strode over to the control panel, looking at the screen.

The Batcave had its own independent network, a measure taken to isolate hackers. It was impossible for external forces to invade.

Even someone like Cyborg, a member of the Justice League who possessed Mother Box technology and could control the entire Earth's network, couldn't silently infiltrate the Batcave without it being opened.

On the screen was an image of the outermost part of the solar system, the Oort Cloud. Countless comets densely formed a massive Oort Cloud, and within it, something suddenly appeared, tearing through the Oort Cloud and causing all the comets in that area to disperse.

Among them, there was a large collapsing beam of light that pierced through the Oort Cloud. The direction of these beam-like light strands was parallel to Jupiter's rotation period and the Earth. If it wasn't for Jupiter being in the way, this beam of light would pass through Jupiter and reach Earth.

"This is..." Bruce's face darkened, his brows furrowed tightly as he stared at the beam of light in the picture. Although it was a residual image captured by a celestial satellite, and perhaps not very clear, it was already evident what it was.

The material that caused this scene is no longer here.

Just like when you gaze at the stars and see them shining, you're actually seeing light from hundreds of thousands of years ago.

"The trajectory of hyperspeed collapse." Alfred said calmly, "I have confirmed the authenticity of the photo."

Bruce's face became terrifyingly stern.

What does this mean?

There is an object traveling directly towards Earth at hyperspeed.

An object capable of hyperspeed movement would not be a celestial body in natural motion. There is only one possibility—a hyperspeed spaceship is approaching Earth.

However, what's even more terrifying is that when this photo was taken, the hyperspeed spaceship had already been traveling for some time.

In other words, this hyperspeed spaceship could potentially arrive in the Earth's airspace at any moment.

Bruce completely disregarded the intrusion of anyone into the Batcave. If this photo was genuine, then Earth would be facing an invasion from an extraterrestrial race with a hyperspeed spaceship.

For a planet whose fastest fighter jets can only reach speeds of around Mach 30, this is a devastating threat, a catastrophic existence.

"Have they detected the time of the hyperspeed collapse trajectory?" Bruce stared at the photo with a cautious gaze and asked in a solemn voice.

"Approximately half a year ago," Alfred replied.

A hyperspeed spaceship means surpassing the speed of light. In other words, by the time they detect the reflection of light, this hyperspeed spaceship has already far surpassed the speed of light and is moving ahead of the light itself.

"Immediately contact the countries on Earth anonymously and inform them of the severity of the situation."

Bruce took immediate action.

He finally understood why the intruder invaded the Batcave anonymously and sent this photo to his computer.

However, the intrusion into the Batcave still made him uneasy. He silently vowed that after dealing with this invasion of the hyperspeed alien spaceship, he would find the person who invaded the Batcave and give them a proper lesson, as well as establish dozens more Batcaves for future needs.

"Master, you should contact your teammates first." Alfred calmly looked at Bruce and reminded him, "The members of the Justice League, they have fought against extraterrestrial beings with you. And Superman, you are friends, aren't you?"

Bruce remained silent for a while. Although he didn't want to admit it, since joining the Justice League this year, the effectiveness of fighting crime and preventing superpowered criminals had greatly improved. Although these guys were worth guarding against, they were indeed quite capable.

Bruce said in a deep voice, "I joined the Justice League just to monitor him."

"Alright, alright, I understand. In this year, you have been monitoring all the members of the Justice League and collecting various information. His information is in your database. He has a vision that can see far into the distance. Maybe he can see which corner of outer space this spaceship has hidden in. That's a much more flexible surveillance than satellites." A smile appeared on Alfred's calm face.

"I know, I will find them. This is not something that can be solved by one person." Batman turned around and strode out of the Batcave.
