Chapter 120: Activation

Planet Zero, the surface control center of the high-rise buildings.

The towering control center building, reaching a kilometer high, stood like a horn on the planet, rising high above.

H'el stood on the top floor of the control center building, looking through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows at the Kryptonians in the residential area. They were as tiny as ants, walking and communicating. Some children were engaged in simulated cosmic battles on the newly built school playground.

They had settled in for some time now, living peaceful lives, but he alone carried the burden forward.

H'el's gaze held little emotion or satisfaction. All of this felt like achieving his predetermined goal, merely the first step.

*Thud, thud, thud...*

The heavy footsteps echoed on the polished steel floor.

Dressed in a black military uniform modified by Star Zero, exuding an iron-like coldness, a heavy cape flowed behind the approaching figure.

Kalu-Zod, already of massive stature, appeared even more imposing in the black military uniform. He approached H'el like a charging tank and knelt down on one knee in deference.

"Your Majesty, the soldiers are ready," Kal-El said solemnly.

H'el glanced at him indifferently. "No need for formalities when no one is around."

Even after many years, H'el's impression of Kalu remained that of a bold and courageous young man.

In fact, Kalu hadn't changed much. He had always adhered to his principles, and they had remained intact. He had simply grown, matured.

Kalu stood up immediately, his face serious. "It's to maintain your dignity, Your Majesty."

He then casually waved his hand, indicating that it was unavoidable, that he didn't mind kneeling before H'el to become a general and gain official status.

It's a pity Faora wasn't here. Otherwise, if she whispered a few words in H'el's ear, Kalu believed H'el would give him a battleship.

What a shame.

H'el glared at Kalu fiercely, leaving him perplexed as he rubbed the back of his head in confusion.

H'el didn't want to bring up the incident where he nearly suffocated under Faora's deadly scissor kick. "Let's go, let's prepare to unleash the power of the ancient Kryptonian warriors."

H'el turned and walked ahead, heading towards the elevator.

Kalu's eyes sparkled as he followed behind H'el, his heart burning with excitement. "H'el, are we Kryptonians really as powerful as the legends say?"

For any Kryptonian, the tales of Krypton conquering the universe millions of years ago and physically battling the stars were considered myths and legends.

After all, on Krypton, the physical body was too weak. How could they imagine that the Kryptonian legends were true?

This situation was similar to Earth's myths and legends of Gods creating the world and then creating humans. How many people actually believed those?

Zero!

If it weren't for H'el telling him and demonstrating abilities like the mythical heat vision, freezing breath, invulnerable body, and boundless strength, Kalu wouldn't dare believe it.

"Your talk of conquering the stars, damn, it turns out it's true!"

"Of course, it just requires activating the genes," H'el said. "The military is the first to have their genes activated, gaining power. Soon, there will be a nationwide gene activation."

The fiery determination in Kalu's gaze never wavered as he accompanied H'el to the underground plaza, where seventy thousand soldiers and an expanded force of fifty thousand enforcers awaited.

"Your Majesty, we pay our respects!"

They were already fully prepared, wearing black military uniforms, bearing the symbol of infinity on their chests. The troops stood in perfect formation, displaying a formidable presence. Upon seeing H'el's arrival, they knelt in unison to pay their respects.

"Rise."

H'el's gaze swept over the formidable military force, silently praising Kalu's training.

In just a few short time, he had transformed the Taylor-Wex's fromet troops into disciplined and resolute warriors. The training under General Zod had not been in vain. Kalu, a man who had once been hung and beaten by General Zod and himself, had accomplished a remarkable feat.

H'el offered a few words of encouragement before commanding the activation of the yellow solar radiation through Zero.

"Zero, release the yellow solar radiation," H'el ordered.

In the underground plaza, the atmospheric gases of Krypton began to be gradually extracted, and yellow radiation energy was projected from the dome.

The first to feel the change was Kalu.

As the individual with the most powerful genetic potential among them, his genes were instantly unlocked by the yellow sun, unleashing boundless power. His ears picked up the distant sound of mechanical gears from Transformers repairing their bodies, as well as the whispers of numerous Kryptonians on the surface. His eyes pierced through steel walls, seeing metal cells. Overwhelmed by the influx of immense information, he was struck with a splitting headache, and veins bulged on his forehead.

The other officers and soldiers began to react, but they didn't possess the same powerful genetic potential as Kalu, nor had they received such a massive influx of information. They were simply feeling uncomfortable and overwhelmed, with a destructive desire to unleash their newfound power, seeking something to destroy.

"Calm down! Control your breathing and regulate your bodies!" H'el suddenly shouted, his powerful voice suppressing the soldiers who had activated their genetic potential, urging them to enter a state of meditation, clearing their minds and focusing on inner peace. (A/N: Master Oogway approves)

The officers who had received an excess of information closed their eyes and slowly adjusted their breathing, attempting to gain control.

Kalu's chest heaved as he continued to switch his focus between sight and hearing, while his brain grew stronger with the activation of his genes, able to handle the immense influx of information.

Finally, Kalu was the first to exhibit a strong reaction and also the first to recover, gaining preliminary control over his vision and hearing.

"So, this is the legendary power of the Kryptonians?"

Kalu's eyes flickered with disbelief as he looked at his own hands, realizing he could see through his own skin and observe the density of his bones.

He clenched his fists tightly, as if crushing the air, and his feet slowly lifted from the ground, hovering in mid-air. In an instant, he instinctively knew how to fly, as if it were second nature. A smile formed on Kalu's lips, his eyes filled with astonishment. (A/N: Bruh, blud's more talented than the Blue Boyscout...)

"Come on, give me a punch and test it out." H'el's lips curled into a smile as he extended his hand towards Kalu, beckoning him.

Previously, there had been concerns about Kalu's physical weakness, fearing that a single blow would harm him. But now, things had changed. He could withstand a punch even when H'el used only one percent of his strength.

The smile on Kalu's lips instantly vanished, and with a serious expression in front of his subordinates, he said, "Your Majesty, this power should only be used against enemies. I'm afraid it may harm you."

After all, H'el was primarily a scientist, and even though he had activated his Kryptonian genes earlier, he shouldn't be a match for someone with the innate talents of a dedicated combat general.

Although H'el used to outmaneuver Kalu frequently during their time on Krypton, things were different now.

After activating his Kryptonian genes, everything had truly changed.

This feeling wasn't just about being several times stronger—it was an illogical leap from being able to lift a ton or two to being able to exert the force of millions of tons.

It was like ascending to godhood!

Kalu was serious. He was concerned that a single punch could send H'el flying into a wall, undermining his authority and making it difficult for him to rule the new Krypton.

After all, as a general, he was too powerful.

A/N: There were probably one or two more chapters left before the complete activation of the Kryptonian genes for the entire population. They would then leave the remnants of Krypton and head to Earth.
