11 Planning and Waste

Drystan was getting bored of his day job.

He liked the kids in his class and enjoyed teaching them but nothing new ever seemed to happen.

Maybe it's because he has so many things going on in the dark, that what happens in the daylight seems dull and dreary in comparison.

He knew that for the sake of his secret identity that a boring day job would definitely suit a purpose, but it doesn't make it feel any less boring.

He learned in the past couple months that while he is a very smart and capable man, he is an absolutely horrible teacher.

He doesn't understand how they even got accepted as students here as they apparently didn't understand a word he said.

When he tried to explain to them they still seemed confused until Barbara finally stepped in as is now basically teaching my class for me.

well...

He is still teaching it's just that its like he is speaking a foreign language in class and barbara is his full time translator.

But strangely, even though he isn't good at teaching by himself, his students seemed to have more respect for him because that they couldn't follow what he said and knew that he was trying to say stuff in a way they would understand.

More simply put, they respected how much he knew about computer sciences because they couldn't understand him even after he dumbed it down a bit.

At first he going to learn how to dumb down his speech further but he decided that he could just wait until next year and directly repeat Barbara's simplified version of what he says.

It's a lazy way to solve the problem but this is the way the problem will most easily be solved.

He was also getting bored of waiting for the heroes to approach him.

Drystan had realized that recently his patience had not been too good.

He was a little eager to meet all his favorite Super Heroes.

Afterall, even if he wasn't previously a big Dc guy, in this life there are real life heroes that he can watch.

He has become a fan a few of them and can't wait to fight them.

He decided to try to make his alter ego as the Boogeyman have a kind of love hate relationship with the heroes like a few others have done.

Afterall Catwoman, Deathstroke, and even recently Harley Quinn has been seen working with heroes.

Plus he thinks that he will never forget the scene he saw a few days ago when looking up old hero fights.

He came across a video of Killer Croc, one of Gotham's most murderous villains, fighting and killing Orca who had been attempting to attack a preschool.

Some villains seem to have their moments where they aren't all 100% psychopath. Or maybe they are as Croc did eat like half of Orcas corpse after killing her.

The main reason he wanted his alter ego to have a semi good relationship with the heroes is that it would give him a reason to actually fight some people.

He wasn't planning on killing any heroes so his teaming up with them might be his only chance at getting in a fight without gaining some powerful enemies.

They would be more focused on getting revenge on the actual heroes than to try to fight Drystan the 'Boogeyman'. Villains really don't want to die, they tend to fear death more so than the average person.

He was thinking about how to fight Ra's al Ghul in public to advertise how much better he his than the League of Asshats.

Besides that he just wants to actually fight someone.

When he kills people it normally only takes a second and hasn't made any mistakes so he was starting to get curious to how he would hold up against some of the Heavy Hitters when he couldn't kill them.

He thinks that if he was willing to kill them, just about anybody in the world could only prepare to die.

Now that's him planning to make contact with his identity as an assassin but that's for later as he was more worried about him making contact as a person first.

He was getting tired of waiting to be approached because for all he knows, he might not be asked for help for several years as he wasn't given a time frame.

So he has made the decision to make contact with the heroes through Barbara as she was his most stable way in.

He was a genius afterall. It would be weird if he didn't notice that his teachers assistant was hacking half of Gothams computers every night.

So his plan is to confront Barbara about her secret identity and express his worry for her that way she would feel more comfortable asking for his help in the future.

He Totally wasn't confronting her because she tried to hack into his laptop and activated his emergency deletion of his browser history.

Nope it was purely professional.

Not upset over the loss of his porn collection in the slightest.

It took a long time to get those photos of Talia al Ghul.

You be surprised at how many private photos that woman takes despite being an assassin. I guess she just likes to admire herself as she never sends them to anybody.

Anyways he is currently on his way to the Clock Tower where he Oracle has set up camp to confront Barbara about her deletin- *cough* Being a hero.

"Wait, if im approaching the heroes doesn't that make my first wish useless?" Drystan stopped and stared at the sky for a moment coming to the realization.

"DAMNIT!!!"

Authers Note

I am planning on starting another fanfic and wanted some input.

It will be Weekly instead of daily meaning that it will come out slower than this ff but will probably be higher in quality.

So i wanted to ask what Fan-Fic would be wanted so please let me know what you prefer.

So for now i am going to go try to watch the last Sideman Sunday as I have been putting it off because of Phils fat fucking face.
