-New Hero Sentinel-

"Welcome to Saturday morning news, I'm Kristine and next to me is Trent and we'll be giving you the morning news," Kristine said.

'Thank's Kristine and good morning. Our first topic today will be the appearance of a new hero: Sentinel. The bank on Rowley avenue was robbed and the thieves almost made a clean getaway, that is until Sentinel appeared and managed to thwart their getaway, what do you think Kristine?" Trent said as he looked at Kristine.

"I think it's a good thing, he appeared. With this crime can decrease and from what we've seen he can help out should a natural disaster occur with his super strength. His name to seems to be a nudge to his purpose, he has basically declared himself Fawcett City's guardian. Let's take to social media to see what they think of him"

Holding the remote I turn the TV off and go to the kitchen to prepare a meal for myself. I've found out I don't necessarily need to eat that as I can go around a week without food or water but it's still to eat, plus I've got a surplus amount of money to my name so that's that.

What to cook, what to cook as I was thinking about it I made my way to the fridge and opened it to see what ingredients are available and... there was barely anything in there. Guess I'm going grocery shopping. Putting on black sweatpants, a grey Noke sweatshirt ( this universe's Nike ) and Adodis (this universe's Adidas ) slides I make my way out and head to the local supermarket.

"Hey system, you have a consciousness right? Doesn't me just calling you 'system' annoy you?"

[Whilst it do not hate it I also do not like it.]

[Cynthia... It has a nice ring to it. Thank you Kim. Ah, I'm detecting a crime 1 kilometre east from here. Seems to be a mugging occurring]

"Dang it, just when I was about to get some food"

Ducking into an alley I materialise my suit and go into stage one. I made it to the scene in 10 seconds and started floating down.

"Now listen here missy, give me everything you got and I'll let you go easy ya hear", said the mugger as he put a knife against her neck.

Let me stop this before it gets too dangerous, landing behind the mugger I pull his arm back and lightly pull him back. Well, my definition of light anyways. I'd flung him back and he'd soar through the air until he hit the wall and was knocked out cold. The woman who had been in the middle of being mugged had started crying and profusely thanking me, kinda awkward if I'm being honest. I'd reassured her and asked her to call the police since those heroes didn't add some sort of communication device to my suit.

"Cops really are taking their time"

I've been here for 5 minutes now, I'd already sent the woman on her way and decided to sit on the mugger's body to secure him until the cops got here.

*groooan*

"What happened, my back hurts like a motherfucker", the mugger murmured.

Ah, he's awake now, He's been knocked out for quite some time so I was scared he wasn't gonna wake up until Thea reaffirmed me saying nothing is wrong with his body other than a few bruises on his back. The mugger tried getting up until he realised I was sitting on him.

"Y-y-you damn freak, get off me. HELP, SOMEONE HELP ME", he started flailing around as he realised he was caught and couldn't escape.

"Cut the crap. Your little performance isn't convincing anyone plus, the cops are already on their way, though they are taking quite some time.", hopefully he stops flailing around now

* 2 minutes later*

It's been 2 minutes and he's still flailing around, he's stopped playing victim and started cussing me out and to be frank it was getting quite annoying.

"ENOUGH" I shout as I slam my fist into the concrete next to him. My fist easily broke the concrete, spreading cracks through the ground "Next it's your face, you understand?"

Thankfully he took my threat quite seriously and kept quiet until the cops arrived.

"Finally" I muttered under my breath.

The cops thanked me and handcuffed the criminal letting me leave and head to the shops again.

In the span of one hour I'd stopped 4 different muggings. I didn't even have time to go to the damn shops. After the 4th one, I'd given up on getting food and decided to head back home, not like I wanted to eat anyways, and no I'm totally not sour, you are. As I was making my way home Thea told me about someone reckless driving and I had to go stop him. Easy, to say his car felt my frustration.

I finally got the chance to change back to my casual were and head back home. As soon as I got home, I close the door behind me and immediately made my way to my sofa and slumped down on it.

How the hell did Superman have a personal life when he had to do all this shit, the most frustrating part of this is not that I'm tired or anything, it's simply that I don't have any free time, and this is all just on a weekend where I don't have to worry about classes or anything.

I also figured I need a better way of detecting crime, if a big crime happens whilst I'm out of Cynthia's range of detection then it'll result in disasters.

"Got any ideas on this Thea?"

[I personally find that my range of detection is great, I do not know why you need alternative methods]

"Ugh come on Thea, work with me here. What happens if a crime happens 5 kilometres from here, then what" this system really could be frustrating when it wanted to be.

[Fine. Why don't you ask when of the members of the League for advice]

"Can't you just like, hack into the cops' radio system or something? I thought all systems are supposed to be able to do that"

[I thought you were better than thinking stereotypes were real. My functions only relate towards you and simple things like detecting vital signs, or subtle changes in someone's body and scanning the surroundings. Though I could help you do it yourself, or you could you know, ask one of the veteran heroes for help]

Well, it does have a point, guess I'll hit Diana up and ask her for help. I could ask the others but well I haven't really interacted with any of them other than that time I had that outbreak. Now, where did I leave my phone?
