A New Arrival

Today was meant to be a very peaceful day. The sun was shining, the winds were blowing through the tranquil trees, and the waves of the sea beat softly against the shore. It was the third of November, in the Age 762. The news had reported the arrival of two round, small spaceships. From them came two aliens who looked human. After that, the entire city was destroyed. Mass panic ensued. So much panic, that in the chaos, no-one had noticed another strange ship enter the atmosphere. This one was not like the two that had landed previously. This ship was long and oval in shape, with a sky-blue hull and no windows anywhere. It crashed straight into the shoreline with a mighty splash. Sending both water and sand high into the air and landing in dunes. The ship remained closed for quite some time, about ten minutes in fact. Until finally, the top opened in a metallic screech.

From the pod stood a young woman. Her hair was a long, messy black, and her eyes matched. She wore a set of strange white body armour over a black, skin-tight bodysuit. The woman was holding her hand behind her head and rubbing it, cracking her neck seemingly to get rid of discomfort. She stretched out slender, but well-muscled arms and legs, her body suit emphasising her muscles. "That was a long trip…" she groaned tiredly, "But it looks like it was worth checking this place out. Hmm…" The woman looked about, she could see a large cityscape in the distance. "There's a lot of inhabitants here." she commented, "Looks like this could take a while. Though, judging by my intuition, I won't have to get serious with them. Less of a decent fight and more just clearing out pests." After stretching out enough, the woman began to move away from the pod and walked off into the countryside.

After going so far, she reached a little village. It was mainly houses and not too many people were in sight. The woman looked a little disappointed, then she continued on into the village. The people who were there gave her strange looks, like they weren't used to seeing that kind of gear on a person. The woman stopped in the centre of the village, where crowds had now shown up to see her. "Who's the strongest here, out of all of you weaklings?!" she called out to them. "Whoever is strongest will fight me first!

After a moment of silence, one eventually stood up to the challenge. A large, buff man with quite possibly oversized muscles. "I'm the strongest one here, little girl." he told the woman, "Are you sure that you want to face me? I won't hold back just because you're a girl."

"I can take you with both hands behind my back." the woman replied, "Come at me!"

Without any more waiting, the man charged straight for the woman. "Too slow…" she sighed, simply sidestepping his charge and raising her hand. From the tip of one, slender finger, a thin beam of light shot out and pierced the man through the chest. He dropped to the ground with a thud, his breathing stopped. There were sounds of shock from the crowd. They had just watched the woman kill a man with some sort of strange power.

"What…are you?" one of the onlookers asked, fear in his eyes. The woman simply smirked at them all.

"Me?" she asked, "I'm Leek, the best fighter in the universe! Now…since I'm clearly not going to get any fun out of this, you can all just die." Leek raised both of her hands together and pointed them at the onlookers. "Rest in pieces!"

From her hands spouted a large wave of light that encapsulated the entire crowd of onlookers in an instant. When it vanished, the crowd was nowhere to be seen and the ground was blackened. The wave had gone on to create a massive hole through multiple houses behind the crowd. The woman sighed.

"Well that was boring." she said, "Didn't even put up a fight, pathetic. What to do now…maybe I'll check out what these weaklings have in terms of culture…might find something of value." With that, she entered the nearest building that wasn't wrecked. The interior was lined with clothes of all different styles. Leek seemed to take an interest. She went over to the shelves to see what was there, using her intuition to tell if the clothes were the right size for her or not. Then she stopped for a second. "Wait…" she thought, "Do I have the time to be doing this? Eh, what the hell. Won't hurt to try a few on."

Leek took off her battle suit, and changed into a set of clothes that she picked out. A pair of blue jeans that seemed a little bit big for her, and a red top that clung to her. It was a bit tight. She simply chuckled. "Guess my intuition isn't all that great, huh?" she giggled, "But the clothes look good. Maybe I should wear these for the moment, not like I'll need my armour."

For a second, Leek looked as though she had forgotten something important. She clicked her fingers. "Of course." she realised, "I forgot about my tail. Just gotta make a little hole here…" She quickly pushed her fingers through the back of her new jeans and through the hole came a long, brown tail. It whisked and waved about after being freed. "Now I feel a lot better. Let's go." With that, she walked out of the building and carried on through the now empty village. Leek was walking by cheerfully, until she felt something strong pop up. It was an immense amount of power coming from the west of her. She smirked.

"So." she commented, "There were others…judging from the amount of power I can feel, it must be the prince. Wonder what he's doing here. I should go check it out." With that, she started running to the west, being careful not to exert too much energy.

It took her about an hour to reach the source of the energy signal, it had diminished greatly in that time. In a small mountain range, Leek could see a wounded, short man with spiked up, black hair, wearing a battle suit similar to her own, though the bodysuit was blue, not black. Lying near him was a taller man, with a spiky mess of black hair and an orange uniform. He was badly wounded, and didn't seem to be able to move. Leek could sense quite a bit of power coming from both of them, and judging from their appearance alone, they must be like her. Though, she noticed that neither one had a tail. She just had to go closer, but she didn't want to reveal her self to them. Soon, Leek saw a very short, bald man making his way toward the battle suited man, he had intent to kill. In one hand, he was wielding a sword. It was then that Leek decided to jump in. She flew up quietly, and landed in front of the bald man, preventing him from moving any further forward.

"Who are you?" he asked, sounding quite injured, "Why are you stopping me?" He seemed to freeze when he saw Leek's tail swishing about. "A Saiyan?!" Leek picked up the battle suited man and placed him in his nearby pod.

"Yes, I am." she replied, "What of it?" In the time that she was speaking, the battle suited man had closed the pod door and shot off into the skies. "If you were thinking of killing him, don't. We are few enough as it is. I will spare your lives for now, I won't get anything out of kicking you while you're down. But you won't get in my way either, otherwise, I'll destroy you." With that, Leek walked off into the distance. She was interested by this band, they had the highest power levels out of anyone else on this planet. But for now anyway, she would leave them be until they recover. As she walked off, Leek could hear the sounds of a space-ship landing.

"This planet might be worth keeping around…" she smirked to herself, "Though, I should keep an eye on them. I want to see what kind of tricks they have up their sleeve."

If you have any thoughts on how this is going to go, please put it down in the comments.
