3 Getting Started (Ch 3)
So, now that I don't need a checkup, I finish my dinner quickly and go to my room.
In my room I recall what happened just a few hours ago. The box told me it selected (Adapt) and (Transformation) for me. I still don't know why I couldn't choose it myself but I don't have time to dwell on it. Although the box did remind me of those systems in fanfiction.
'Oh fuck, how didn't I realise this before?!' I think of the command word commonly used in the fanfiction that I've read. 'Status'

I almost cringe at my power level, before I remember that I haven't even started my training yet. And after trying many other command words, it seems my 'system' is different to others. Maybe instead of a system, it's just a status screen?
Anyway, speaking of training, how should I go about it? Should I meditate for now? I'm pretty sure it'll help me unlock my ki, and I should do that fast since it'll let me train at almost unimaginable levels.
So with that thought, I sit down on my bed, get into a meditative position, and clear my thoughts.
'I wonder how long this'll actually take. Should I focus on my ki?-' I stop my thoughts going astray, and focus solely on my ki.

Ki Sense - Mastery (0.1%)
Allows user to sense their own ki, and eventually, ki around the user.
0.1% - Sense own Ki.
2% - Sense surrounding Ki.
10% and above - Allows user to sense Ki further away, also increases detail of ki sight.
95% - Allows user to sense God Ki, regardless of whether or not user has God Ki or not.

'Nice! So I'm guessing the system just shows me my progress then, although since it's taken less than half a day to unlock my ki, I'm not sure if I'm talented, or if it's helping me.' I think as I look over to the alarm clock on my desk. It's only been around an hour. 'Wait, an hour? It felt like only ten minutes!'
I've also noticed that I actually have more energy than before, so I'm guessing meditation can be used as a substitute for sleep? Well, if it's going to help me progress, then I'm all for it!
So with that, I go back to meditating. Well, after I get my basic hygiene done and over with, of course.

I'm well on my way to sensing other people's Ki now, and I can sense my own easily now. My Ki is actually quite calm and slow, and is also a sunlight yellow. I don't know if that's normal for Ki, but I'll just have to check in the future when I find the other Martial Artists.
'Speaking of which, what year am I in? I know Age 749 is the start of Dragon ball, and Goku is 12 at that time, so I at least have a reference to how serious I should train.' I look over to the calendar on the wall, and see the date.
'743, huh? That would mean Goku is 6 then. That also means I have way more time than I thought to train! Good job me, for having such luck! Although, that doesn't mean I'll slack off, I want to be on, at least, Vegeta's level by the time canon starts.'
Oh yeah, during the night, I also got this by prodding at my Ki.

Ki Control - Mastery (1.01%)
Allows for user to reduce the waste in Ki with attacks, or powering up. Also strengthens user as it reduces Ki leakage and circulates Ki around the body.
0.1% - Ki Circulation.
2% - Ki Blasts.
10%(+) - Allows user to create Ki attacks.
30%(+) - Allows user to create Transformations (Only available because of rare talent).
95% - Allows for minimum usage of God Ki, and to create better Transformations, suitable for others, too. (Note, user can still gain God Ki through other means, whether it's getting physically or mentally stronger.)
100% - Allows Base Form to fused with God Ki, turning user into a God.

In the future I'm probably going to focus on this, mostly because I want to see what kind of Transformations I can create. You know, maybe the system choosing for me wasn't the worst thing that could've happened.
Anyway, time to start my online courses. I somehow managed to convince my new mother that I was too afraid to go to school. Somehow. I didn't cry at all.
