21 7.1 Way home

"Dad..." the girl elf turned to his father then Mr. Elf kneeled besides Scarlet. He held her pulse then took out some potion in his bag on his waist.

"There are signs of abrupt summoning and damage in her soul. Rest assured, after consuming this potion, she will be fine." Mr. Elf handed me a red potion in a glassware that is so exquisite. Could this be one of higher grade potions I've read in books?

"I.. I will pay Mr. Elf when I get the chance. Thank you. " I uncapped the position and held Scarlet's head to help her drink the potion. After it was all empty her face turned rosier and back to life, comparing to the pale face she was earlier.

"You know how to speak our language? also the dragon, dwarves, and demons too?" I look at the girl elf. Their language? What does she mean? I'm speaking as I usually do though. I'm also hearing them just fine?

"I'm not sure what you mean, but I am speaking my own language and it is all of you who are speaking my language..." I said and they looked at me as if they couldn't believe what I just said. Then they looked at each other and they all began chanting something by themselves. As they look at me with their eyes glowing after their chanting I can feel my whole self is being assess and my mana being processed. Are they doing something to me?

"Don't worry. We're not going to harm you. It's just we're curious. As to why you can speak our languages and also despite being young, you can cast magic." The dragon lady said to me which I just nodded and sat there.

"Their eyes stopped glowing then they all gathered around. Discussing something. I looked at Scarlett in my lap who is still sleeping. I wonder how if Mom and Dad are okay? They must be worried. I hope they didn't told my brothers yet. I've just been in this place for at least, I think is two days or three days now.

"Hey, thanks for saving us kid. My name is Fawn Albus. This lizard like boy is Drache Derkestha." Fawn the elf said to me and sit with across me on the floor. Drache sat besides her looking timid and shy.

"I don't really know what happened, but I think I should be thanking you all more because now I can leave this forest." I said to her and smiled. She smiled back to me and looked at Scarlett.

"I'm surprised. You have a contacted Spirit from our place and it seems to be a good one. If it isn't, even if you save us, I wouldn't let it slide." She said as she pats Scarlett's hair.

"You're a human, right?" I looked at Drache and nodded. Does he think I'm another race? Don't I look like one?

"Then why are you here? This forest is dangerous for humans even more so for a child. But to made it this far without adults with you... You're really amazing." He said but then he froze after he said that and turned red. He must have been shy.

"Well, I don't really know. I was just out with my Uncle and Scarlett. Then something happened, Scarlett went inside the forest and I looked for her, but it seems we missed each other on my way. So in the end I became lost in the forest. I thought that instead staying at place, I should walk north and follow the star to the center, so when my Uncle search, he'll also search in the most obvious place." I told them and then they look at me then to each other.

"But... If not without our parents, this place, the middle of Sacreforis would be dangerous... Nevermind that, we're going to a human territory, I can ask my Dad that we send you home!" Fawn said to me and smiled which delighted me. Now my parents would not worry anymore.

"Thank you so much for that!" I said and bowed to them and smiled.

I can finally go back. I'm really tired and....

"What's that sound?" Drache asked. I turned red from the realization.

"That's me... I haven't eaten a proper meal besides some fruits and water... So my tummy is rumbling.."

My hungry stomach rumbled again.
