Day & Night

Since long ago, mankind has been divided into two races, day & night dwellers. The day dwellers roam the earth after dawn and goes into hiding after sunset as the light reflected by the moon is harmful to them. It is the opposite for night dwellers, their skin is immune to the harm of moonlight while sunlight is harmful instead. In the present, everything has been divided into two shifts, day shift for the day dwellers and night shift for the night dwellers. Shibasaki Yoru, a 16-year-old high school freshman, is a day dweller that has been an introvert for all his life. He was homeschooled until he was 15 and this is the first time he get to step outside. While heading towards his school, he sees a girl with blonde hair curled up crying in the shadows. He later found out that she is from the same school and a night dweller that didn't make it home in time. What will he do as he doesn't have any experience in socializing with others?
