7 Chapter 6: Oriental Utopia and A New Charming Manager

Jung Hoseok and Bang Seungwan has been working here at "Oriental Utopia" management team for a month now whereas Bang Seungwan or Wendy gets Joy, her best friend as her own secretary too. Hoseok and Wendy do not get to talk much except about work. Surely, Wendy will be occupying on Hoseok because she is interested in him. She would talk a lot about him with Joy. Joy even jokingly dubbed him as "Wendy's Jeju Hero".

Wendy could see that Jung Hoseok is a very clean man or try to make himself appears smart in appearance since he comes to his mother's workplace. He even dye his hair back to black. With other employees, Hoseok is sort of seem very happy go lucky and funny and friendly with everyone. Because of his light behaviour, everyone consider him so gay. And the rumours spreading out (nowhere we don't yet) is true that he is a homo and probably in relationship with his long term friend, Park Jimin, a fashion designer.

Wendy still would believe it as a whole. She can still remember his strong arms holding her when she was going to drown back in Jeju holiday. Besides she thinks she is one of a few people who can see his sadness under his happy go lucky mask. But he still is so gentle and clean of a man to be what people mostly consider MANLY. Therefore, Wendy is not sure at all about him. By appearance, his appearance is similar flower boy image shown Kdramas owning fair skin, light medium plumb lips; everything is fairly put on his round face, nose eyebrows and cheeks. He should be considered beautiful boy. Nonetheless, if one looks at him again and again and getting more familiar with him, those can consider he is actually handsome than beautiful and actually owns a manly vibe. But if he really is homo man and in relationship with Jimin, Wendy hope both fathers on their sides throw away the idea of she marrying him.

It is not all about Jung Hoseok that Wendy would be thinking about. She enjoys her first full job in the managing team and she is learning a lot about how to manage running the business and the suppliers and looking after the employees.

Besides, Wendy intelligent enough to notice that not everyone likes her at Oriental Utopia. There is one lady who is a manager of receptionists looking at Wendy with vengeful eyes. Wendy does not get to speak to her much. But she is middle age woman eyes are cold while looking at her at times from afar. Wendy just wonder who is she and what she has to do with Wendy or any of her relatives. There must be something.

Oriental Utopia is a modern is built hotel but in Asian style. It has 25 floors but it is big and rich with beautiful parks surrounding though it is still situated in the city of Seoul.

The business is originally built up by Hwang family, Jung Hoseok's mother ancesters. It is initially just a small guesthouse. However, because of the luck and diligence combined with intelligence, the business grew a lot. Especially, after Hwang Lu Bi has married Jung Ji Wook. Jung Ji Wook is from a high class respectable family, whose family has been mostly work within parliament. Some of Jung Ji Wook's ancesters has either been Presidents or Mayers of the particular city.. especially Seoul. Jung Ji Wook himself has been a mayer once. But because of his wife he once used to resign from parliament but his official party needs him back, so he is back to work with his relatives then. His wife and daughter mostly manage the family business. Now, it is time for their younger child, the son, Jung Hoseok to learn about the business especially after his elder sister has married (Yoona has married an ambassador of Korea Embassy...so she mostly go abroad with her husband for work...being also a daughter of Jung Ji Wook, she also gets to work at the embassy too).

Today, the office that run the hotel has special meeting. Because, they will be meeting their new manager today. It is 10 am in the morning.

Everybody, including Wendy, Hoseok and Joy are at the long desk in the meeting room.

After a few minutes, one of the secretary slide open the door and one very good looking man comes along with her.

"Mr Lee Min Hong is here!", she says.

Mr Lee Min Hong take a seat near front, near to Mrs Jung Lu Bi, Hoseok and Wendy. He seems to be about 30 or over. His face manly but combined with beautiful oval vibe and shape too, and a little tan. He is tall and well built. He is half Korean half Hong Kong, American.

Mrs Jung Lu Bi introduce Mr Lee Min Hong to everyone.

"Although, Mr Lee Min Hong has been here learning about our Oriental Utopia for not so long, he has a lot of experience in managing hotel and travelling business...we are just honered that we are getting high skills to help our business. All in all, please welcome Mr Lee Min Hong."

Everyone claps.

Mr Lee Min Hong stands up and bow to everyone.

The meeting over. Wendy and Joy go straight to the restroom. They check their faces in the restroom mirror. Joy could see Wendy is feeling a bit awkward.

Joy: "Are you ok...Wendy?"

Wendy: "I'm. good...it's just that ...that man is staring straight to me sometimes..and it is weird.!!"

Joy:"You mean Mr Lee Min Hong?"

Wendy nods.
