Chapter 3: Arrangement/Marriage?!!

Wendy and Joy stay in Jeju for two more days. The girls take a leave after that. While traveling on her way back, Wendy cannot stop thinking about the guy who save her from the abusive man, the guy saved her from drowning. She is grateful. But there is something more than that. Something, she has not felt before. She just cannot stop thinking about the touch of his lips on hers while she bumped into him for last time at Jeju. By losing in her thoughts, her cheeks are blushing all the way. She even start her day dreaming for love all the way back to her home in Seoul. Joy is sounding sleeping on the whole journey.

But the two gentlemen friends leave the island a day after that.

Wendy arrives back to her house in the city of Seoul. Joy has parted with her to go on her own way.

As soon as, Wendy enters her house to the living, she can hear her father, Mr Bang Si Hyuk whistling while reading a book.

Wendy has not seen her father this happy in a very long time. He has just come back from his summer holiday in his vacation villa within Seoul. It is strange that Mr Bang did not buy vacation house outside Seoul. Nonetheless, the one he has is perfect for...it is situated in city but has peaceful garden and villa cottage is classic and luxurious. Besides, it is his hideout place the busy site of the city too.

As soon as Mr Bang Si Hyuk sees his daughter, he stands up and they hug each.

"Dad, you look so happy today.. what is it that makes my Daddy Hyuk this happy!"

Bang Si Hyuk:" Ahh.. I have some good news for you!!"

Wendy: "Good news for me?"

She exclaims.

Bang Si Hyuk: " I meet my old friend. In our young days, we used to agree that we would like to be one family, and agree that if we have child of opposite gender ...we will arrange them to marry...."

Wendy:"ARRANGEMENT/MARRIAGE!!"

Wendy is so shocked!

Bang Si Hyuk:"Nahh..Calm down!! My girl!!...We do understand that arrange marriage might not work sometimes, but since you don't have anyone up to this age, why don't you just give my friend's son a chance... just go out with him... learn and get to know him... maybe you two will fall in love!!"

Wendy looks a little doubt about it. Her saviour from Jeju is still in her head. But she does not want to disappoint her father.

Wendy: "What if we don't fall in love?"

Her father looks a little cross as he moves his head away disapprovingly...but he shot backs at her.

Bang Si Hyuk:"It's too early now my daughter...time will tell...and we will decide what will we do after that!"

Just at that time, their house keeper, Tae Joo Tae Suk's wife comes with two glasses of red strawberry juice with ice. She puts them on the table of the living room.

"Master and my lady, please enjoy the cold sweet drink...the summer is too hot...the drinks will make it cool down..and enjoy your conversation.."

Jung Yoona come out of her Toyota salon car. She goes straight into her parents house. She has been living with her husband since she married him..but she visits her own family occasionally. She especially come today because she heard that her brother, Jung Hoseok has come back from his holiday.

Jung Yoona is an elegant... but she looks very feminine with her slim ladylike looks, but she is stronger and good in sports then anyone could think...she hardly falls in love..but when she finally does...her family is happy for her.

Her husband wants to come with her today too but he has extra work at his company.

She comes into the family living room...there she finds a red haired boy sleep on family sofa ...but he is not properly sleeping ...he is lying over the above edge of sofa.

Yoona shooks her head.

"My brother hasn't changed his strange sleeping style habits!"

But then something comes into her mind.

Yoona shouts, "FIRE... beware...fire is coming!!"

That alarms everybody in the house.

All the servants from the kitchen come out...as well as Mrs Jung.

Jung Hoseok wakes up and falls of to the floor from sofa edge.

He rubs and open his eyes.

"Fire!" He says... still feeling numb from his sleep.

People are now in very running back and forth looking for fire in the house...coming out with buckets of water.

They all gather in the living room and see Yoona.

"Where is fire! " they all ask.

Yoona smiles slyly.

They all understand then.

At that very moment..Mr Jung Ji Wook arrives home from office.

He is a little bit confused when he see his servants with buckets of water.

But then he smiles and says,

"Hhha .. Yoona is here...and Hoseok back too...that's great...I have an important news.. let's discuss at dinner"

......

When dinner comes ...of course Mr Jung Ji Wook talks about his agreement with his long time old friend about getting their kids to get married...

All the family members.. Mrs Jung, Yoona and Hoseok are surprised...

Mr Jung Ji Wook: "I have researched about this lady...she really is an interesting one"

Hoseok is looking away...

Mr Jung Ji Wook continues, "Well, Hoseok is single at the moment, my son you should just give another chance.."

Hoseok then takes the whole glass of water at once quickly...and after a while he says..

"I can't ...I can never marry... Because I can not take interest like that in any woman any more"

Everyone is looking at him....

He is thinking seriously but he can't think anything clearly though. Then, he let out

"Yes...I'm a homo... one... I'm not interested in women"
