27 Chapter 26: Lover From The Past

Hoseok is dressing up in his room. He then sees Wendy pass his room from because the door to his bed room is open...

"Wen.. Heyy..Wendy...." he calls out.

Wendy stops and come near to his room.

"What's up! Hope", she asks.

"Wen, I'm a little confused today. Please help me choose the shirt to go to work...."

Wendy: "But you always choose better than me.."

Hoseok face goes down a little bit.

"Please!" he says again.

Wendy gives in then..and come into his room..and look up at the shirts hanging within the open closet.

Wendy examine the closet for a moment and finally pick up the blue one.

"Umm..I think this one looks good...the light blue one looks peaceful and it will also light up the day.... besides you mostly wear black...so lighter colour will be good for a change" ..Wendy says.

Hoseok takes the shirt and then kiss it

"It smells so good... Thanks so much..Wen. !"

He put it on his bed while he is taking off his black shirt...

Wendy's cheeks are growing pink by that somehow...

Why he has to kiss the shirt?

And why he has to take his current black shirt off in front of her like that?...

And that is not enough .. before he go out to work after breakfast...he kisses Wendy on the cheek again... leaving her so blushing..

"Good day.. Darling..!"..

and then he is off.

.....

However, before he starts driving, he sees Mina, the niece of their housekeeper, calling someone very secretive..Hoseok wonder she must be up to something not very nice..and for some reason the thought of her also bring the thought of Ms Wang...he doesn't know why..he wonder why it's taking so long to search for the woman...hope the police find her soon..

..but since he needs to work for the day..he decides to head to work.

Wendy misses her father and her home...she often chat with Mrs Tae Suk to update to with her own home most of the time. (well she do visit them sometimes)...she also think about Ms Wang.. should she tell her father about the incident?... Sometimes she even thinks she might have think too much about Ms Wang wanting to hurt her.? Maybe it is just a joke!.. Maybe it might be done by the other person...Nahh...who else could it be if it's not her...? It's clearly written in her eyes that she hates Wendy. After sometimes, Wendy also prepare herself to go to work (at hotel).

It is noon time, the office is at break, Hoseok comes out to have something for lunch. On his way, he comes face to face with Soo Ae.

It is a very awkward moment....but he finally managed to say

"Hi...Soo... it's been long time"

Soo Ae nods.

Hoseok: "How are you?"

Soo Ae: "I'm good ... how about you?"

Hoseok: "I'm good..umm..."

He can see her sad lonely face.

Hoseok thinks for a moment before saying..

"Umm...if you don't mind ... let's go to have lunch together"

Soo Ae smiles...

"Ok"

Mr Jung Ji Wook and Mr Bang Si Hyuk tap their glasses of wine....in a luxury restaurant. They talks a lot about their younger days...and their business.

Jung Ji Wook is a successful government official even now he is only ex governor/mayor of the city. He is still powerful. And Bang Si Hyuk is a successful for investor. He doesn't really own a true one business but he is a big shareholder as well as business and advisor in many successful companies as well as a vicious money loaner that makes him very rich. He only worries about his only daughter Wendy...but then it is her own life. He wants her to do well in life.

Bang Si Hyuk: " It's a little tiny odd to have wine in the day light afternoon...it's the first time in my whole life.!"

Jung Ji Wook: "Mine too!"

Bang Si Hyuk: "What do you think about my daughter?"

Jung Ji Wook: " She is pretty, intelligent, nice and a good wife to my son...!"

Bang Si Hyuk looks at him straightly at that.

Bang Si Hyuk: "I wonder how is Hoseok and Wendy's relationship is going on..."

Jung Ji Wook: " They are doing great. ..I'm sure Hope will tell her everything very soon...but I can assure you that he loves her"

However, at that moment, they both see Hoseok coming into the restaurant with a young woman.

Bang Si Hyuk: "Who is she?"

Soo Ae looks at the luxurious restaurant.

Hoseok: "It's quiet here ..if we want to make up our minds sometimes, quiet places are good!"

Soo Ae examine Hoseok's looks at the moment. He looks grown up and mature, and confident. His eyes are crystal clear and shining. Soo Ae knows that it is showing that he is happy and his light blue shirt even adds more to that look.

She can still remember the day she breaks off with him, his eyes are very swollen with tears and people say he did not recover from such result of brokeness for a long time... although he acts friendly with people. But perhaps it's his time now to recover and meet someone fulfilling which she failed to do so despite him being a good boyfriend back then.

Soo Ae: "You must be happy with your wife!"

Hoseok happily nods.

"Yes

...!!"

Soo Ae notices his face is blushing such of a 16 year old boy.

The waiter come to give them menu.

They both order their meals.

They talk about the past back in school except for being a couple then. Hoseok does asks a lot about her family. Soo Ae's tears come out a little.

Hoseok: "No ...Soo... don't cry..!!"

Hoseok can read in Soo Ae's eyes that she wants him to say what he think about her.

Hoseok:" You were really good friend back then ... even makes me got smitten. I mean you are a good person... your husband must be lucky to have you..."

Hoseok is talking to her as if she is his friend and no more..

Soo Ae: " Hope..I'm really sorry about everything..!!"

Hoseok looks at her..

Hoseok: " Umm...I forgive you"..(teasingly)

But she looks serious..so he continues

"Umm...I suppose destiny was something...but people do not always make wise decision or acts...and the results can vary...it is life...part of growing up too"

Soo Ae do not know what to say...

Soo Ae: "Your wife must be lucky..!"

Hoseok: "I'm not sure about that...but I will try my best."

Soo Ae notices everytime she mentions his wife he kinds of blush little boy..yes he is happy...and congrats him in her heart....after all she was his lover from the past but not his love for life.

Finally..the lunch is over...

Hoseok farewell Soo Ae...she feels she might not meet him again for so long..but he says..

"Life is bitter sweet . Most of us go through both good and bad times....no matter how you judge on other people, love yourself..."

And she knows he means it.

Mr Jung Ji Wook and Bang Si Hyuk are watching over them for whole time..

Hoseok also has a meeting with Jimin that evening...after sometimes... since they are both busy with work these days.. Jimin is not so fond of Hoseok meeting with Soo Ae.. but Hoseok says..he is very relieved in doing so.

"It's actually good to see her again...!I am just relieved that I could meet her like this without any stress. I'm married and she is married, I won't do anything that is inappropriate.." and he adds a little more.."well no worries ChimChim...my target is Wen and other women!...and how are you doing with Joy?"
