Hazel

The class was over already not that I participated or anything cause I was in my own world thinking nothing priceselly .The rumbling of my stomach brought me back to reality. I was literally dragging Soffie out of the lecture hall so we can go find food.

"Hey am human remember I don't have some super powers to I can fly I might trip so let go",she said frustrated. Well the thing about Soffie is she'll say a thousand words when the thing she wants to explain can be said in fewer words.

"Well am sorry I forgot you're slow",I told her holding back the smirk on my lips I knew she'll get worked up by that." Listen here sassy pants wait is that even something that exists ,back to what I was saying take back your comment that's a low blow you're underestimating my intelligence",she said now matching my pace at least I didn't have to

drag her.

There was a food crib across the street so we didn't have to walk for long . It was more of a cafe. We entered as I went to sit at the farthest booth as Soffie ordered our food.

She literally knew what I'd like to eat when I didn't even know her second name. I drifted from my thoughts as I saw her walking towards the booth a smile on her lips."If I didn't know you well I'd confuse that face for a lottery ticket but naaahhh your Soffie so he gave you his number",I say looking at the blond at the cashier desk who is currently winking at Soffie."well you guessed right cupcake" , she said as our food arrived. On my tray there were fries ,a burger and a milk shake,she really knows me .

I straight away dig into my food forgetting my lady like manners

."How do you get to eat allot of junk food and not a add weight if I try it I'll burst",she says with a fool mouth of fruits well you can say two make one.

Am done in no time and I can't express how satisfied I am . I get up to go and pay when Soffie starts arguing the way she can pay for herself." It's just a way of me apologising for being mean earlier", I tell her pouting ." Well okay "she says lowly I can barely hear it.

We make our way to the exist as someone blocks my way .

I look up ready to curse whoever is in my way . I barely utter a word when I hear his baritone deep voice "Hello hazel",I just look who he is with and realize he is with the jorks

I just push him aside and walk out the cafe.

I continue walking forgetting I came here with Soffie I look back and notice her," well at least you remembered me ,care to explain who Hazel is??" She asks.Well I actually forgot the Hazel part cause I don't remember ever being called Hazel or knowing a person who looked like me .

"Sorry to burst your bubble but apparently my second name isn't hazel so I also don't get it" ,I tell her as I make my way through campus. I see her grinning and know she is about to say something stupid right now. So your gonna ignore that fine piece of meat who seems to know you" she says looking at me waiting for my reply.

"Talking of fine piece of meat , I can't believe I have started using Soffie's vocabulary it sucks but the guy is really a sight to beckon.

He had a sharp jaw , dark hair jelled to the back his eyes were a deep blue ,he was a 6'³ . He actually looked like a model dressed in black screaming bad.

"Your thinking of him arent you huh",said Soffie with the sweetest tone ." Of course not why would I he is not even good looking ",I said I didn't even believe that myself. "Whatever makes you sleep at night ", she huffs as we make our way through campus. "See you around I've got class",she says as she continues staring at her phone . "Well bye friend",I tell her while grinning . "Isn't it cute you now take me as your friend now ",she chuckles as she gets lost in the thousands of people in the hallway well not a thousand . I huff as I make my way to the parking lot and unlock my car . I start the ignition and drive my way out of campus to the busy streets . I literally feel like throwing up from all the mixed smellof foods ,paints and whatever goes on here. Within thirty minutes am already at my place and I hastily lock the car .

"Hey Don",I greet the guard as I I make my way to the elevator . He probably didn't hear me am actually fond of him alot .

I reach my apartment floor and open my apartment . I though my bag on the couch as I get rid of my hoodie and remain with sports bra and stweats .

A quick list of what I should be doing before my shift begins is just laundry . I work at a dinnery some few blocks from my apartment and my shift starts at seven and ends at midnight. I work as a distraction from the haunting thoughts I have. I enter my bedroom and go straight to the bathroom I actually don't have alot of dirty clothes to wash

In thirty minutes am done and I go to the kitchen to grab something cold to drink. I go to the kitchen and realize I haven't gone for grocery shopping in a while so I have to go tommorow or I'll starve.

I grab a yoghurt and go to my room to rest for a while I look at my watch and realize that it's ten minutes past 5 well I have less that too hours. I prop myself on the bed as I remember the events of the day well nothing really happened though. I then remember the deep eyed guy who called me Hazel maybe I just look like someone he knows . I push away all the thoughts in my head so I get to sleep . I drift off to sleep with one thought in my mind the deep blue eyes boring into my emotionless eyes .

All I could think about was Hazel,I did not have hazel eyes. He could have only confused me with one person my sister. I lay awake for most of the night wondering how he knew her but get no answer and accept that maybe am overthinking everything ,she is dead and I should accept that.
