2 Where to go?

As I shouted at the figure in the dark, it got away when the light I was pointing at suddenly retracted from back to where God knows it's going. I then turned back to see if Melissa was alright; she was shivering after witnessing Jake's unexpected death.

"Melissa, are you alright, you seemed in shock; here lets rest for a bit see if we can get out of this place." as I comforted her, we camped out for the time being.

Although when we look backed at the path we originally took, there was no hexagonal doorway. It was gone; as if it disappeared. There was no open gap in the corners of it. They seem to be attached to the walls, like two clay dough's formed into one. Seeing our only way out was not to turn back, but to move forward instead.

"Oh no-nonononono! this can't be there has to be one way out!" said Melissa as she scratch what used to be our only means of escape.

"Melissa, calm down! There has to be a way out of this" John said as he grabbed her on the shoulders.

"How John? How are we going to get out, unless we blunder forward without knowing what lies ahead! Who knows if there even is an exit!" said Melissa who frantically is processing what was going on and was thinking about what course of action to do next.

I hesitated for a moment but I then realized we were wasting every precious second so I said "Why not find the person in the cloak". Melissa, dumbfounded at what I just uttered. Looking at me confusingly.

"Is there another way out, other than speaking to someone who appears to be living in an abandoned underground cemetery to which we just known it was a place for the dead!" said Melissa who emphasize each syllable as she was having a panic attack.

"That maybe our only way out of this!" John barked back.

"And what? Look what happened to Jake! Do you want to end up like a mush of potatoes you chav! Lets not forget that, that thing has been living here for God knows how long. We don't have a slight clue on his/her language!" said Melissa.

"My idea still stands, we are going to ask that weird fellow... whoever they are..." John said with a grim face.

"Wa- bu- Why?" said Melissa, who strongly disagree's with my sentiment.

"Look, we either go straight to our impending doom or we ask the one with the strange hood," said John who sounds stupid.

"Then what if it tries to kill us? Asking someone who murdered our friend is like letting a serial killer kill you instead! Do you know what your talking about?" said the flustered Melissa who is doubting my judgement.

"We don't have a choice, we are at the mercy of this Tomb keeper" John retorted.

"UGHH!!! FINE! but if we end up being dead, I will torment your soul!" Melissa reluctantly agrees while threatening John.

We followed where that mysterious hooded figure goes so we could negotiate to let us go and in return we will never come back ever again. Although the direction we were heading was up, we were lucky that Melissa had a 15 foot long rope, glad we had it with us.

There was also pickax from Jake who we sadly lost, I quite the like the chap he was a good friend; shame he had an unfortunate death, if it was a different person he would be shocked and then laugh it off as if nothing happened.

We then approached the narrow passage leading towards the mysterious figure. After a few minutes have passed and we finally came out of that god for nothing hole; we now have encountered the man in the brown hood.

"I see you have followed me here, explorers of the new epoch..." a strange yet elegant voice came from the hooded figure. It was sweet yet cold as if a woman's spoke to them and it was in fluent English; how?

"Do not be alarmed at my articulate speech, I know many languages from the human dialect. You creatures always fascinate me with your progress and yet are still feeble. How have you even improve with 1 century and create devastating weapons equal to that of Ahruha Mazda's strength?" as she praises us with her thoughts.

I was bold enough to question her. "Who are you?"

She simply replies with a grin which I can barely see from what seems to be a Persian hanging lamp next to her. In which is the only light source.

"I am Estir Anamita, the archmagos of the first persian king! Cyrus the greats personal priestess!" The hooded figure spoke loudly.

Then she presents her strange magic, which lit the entire room partially. Now I can distinguish her appearance as she unfasten her hood from her; she was a beautiful grey skinned woman with pointy ears and dark poison eyes as black as the sky. Her hair looking so silky and smooth. It almost as if she just got here.

Melissa protested "Impossible! there were no records depicting that name anywhere in the annals of the Persian empire!" but Estir still grinned, not in a sinister way but in a more pretty way.

"I have been hidden in the dark for millennia awaiting to send those worthy pass the Gate of eternity to the realm of souls." she replied.

"Is that why you killed our friend?" John said, still having a poker face on him.

"Oh? and why is that human? do you believe I can just let an annoying mortal enter the burial ground of Cyrus? There many requirements to enter the Tomb young one" she replied to my answer, she was telling them the entire story with no caution what so ever, I can tell she isn't lying because of her eloquent demeanor.

"Then what about us? Are we worthy? Since you didn't kill us outright and let us enter your chambers; what is your motive, Estir?" Melissa asked in a cold yet raspy tone due there being a lot of dust. I covered her mouth with my handkerchief to make sure she doesn't get asthma, "ThAnK YoU..." Melissa said with a muffled voiced.

"Well, if you wish to know behind my intentions, you should have known it from the beginning" she said. Then guards with scaly armor made with bronze came out of the blue from the statues that were lifeless rock, now surround us.

"What is the meaning of this?!" Melissa growled in anger.

"I know what your purpose of entering the actual Naqsh-e Rustam" she replied.

Unexpectedly, something was ensuing from the ground; menacing black tendrils crawling in the shadows latched onto our arms, we knelt down because of the tendrils subduing our torsos. I sat there, still in shock of what just happened while Melissa was tussling to escape its clutches, she see's these tentacle like shadows in many hentai series. [Tentacle porn - Author]

"L-let go! Let go of me! John help!" said Melissa still struggling from the black yet saturated purple color of the tentacles.

"Thats easier said than done, I can barely grab my knife!" said John, who is now flustered that they captured him. He struggled a bit, but to no avail. He then glares at the Archmagos.

"So what now? are you going to kill the both of us now that I have reprimanded us?" John mockingly said.

"No, you two are too valuable to be dead" she replied with a gentle grin.

I was taken aback at what she just said 'you are too valuable to be dead? what does she mean by that?'.

As I was lost in thought, the whole room began shaking; mechanisms were then triggered for an unknown reason but I speculated that she was behind all this. The beautiful grey women with pointy ears and black eyes was now facing opposite from the two pairs direction. The whole room was now lit with oil and hanging lamps, a huge circle began appearing in the middle of me and Melissa.

"Now let the ritual of transferring these souls to a world in desperation! Let thy gods know they have new heroes for their rescue!" Estir stress every word. She began chanting in the Aramaic language; strange symbols started appearing around as if they were floating like magnets. Then suddenly Melissa starts taunting her.

"Hey old hag! What the hell are you saying? you calling cthulhu or what?"

Unmoved she replied "I am not speaking to a god of fiction you so created for your entertainment."

"Oh I'm sorry was it Buddha you've been looking for because I know he's a better guy than the one your worshiping, plus the guys handsome! He's nice, kind and is pretty much a very selfless dude dontcha say?" as the taunting goes on, Estir started to twitch a little.

She grabbed Melissa by the cheeks with one hand "Don't think that you can goad me with your nonsense just so I can scalp your head off and detach it from your body, I assure you, you don't want that to happen."

Her glare was frightening to look. So close, it was half an inch away from Melissa's face but she was unmoved by her reproach.

"Heheheh" Melissa was giggling. Befuddled at what she was hearing.

"Girl, what are you tittering at?" Estir asked annoyingly.

"Sayonara, you knife-eared s*it!" Melissa said in a hoarse voice. Then a huge roar came from below where Jake's deceased body was at.

"What did you do human!?" Estir bewildered by the instantaneous explosion, couldn't process what just happened.

The immortal stone guards stood still not flinching a single move, only me, Melissa and Estir were shaking in the chaotic earthquake. Then the dark tentacles relinquish their grip on the two of us, it was our chance to run and find the exit.

"Melissa when did you start detonating explosions?! We didn't brought any with us because we would be buried under the ruble!!" I yelled in a panic.

"Don't worry, it was only for emergency" she replied.

"You call this emergency!!!" I scream in frustration.

"No time to argue, I can explain the rest when we get out of harm's way!"

She was right. We had no time to get out.

"Look! Over there an entrance; lets head there!" said Melissa who spotted an opportunity to escape.

As we were running for our lives we looked back and saw an infuriated Estir glaring with burning eyes of rage.

"NO! guards of Cyrus, cease them! Don't let them enter that room!" When she gave the command to catch John and Melissa to the immortals; they moved again for the seconded time. They dashing straight at us trying to break off our escape.

"They're heading towards our escape route, I have an idea" said John as he quickly grabbed the rope on his waist and tie the pickax like a knot. He swing it like a grappling hook and the pickax landed at a pillar which will collapsing soon but John will made it fall quicker.

"MELISSA! WATCH OUT!" said John while he pushed Melissa at the doorway trying get her away from the debris and rubble. The both of them made it through, as they were both fine from the initial impact.

"Cough, cough Melissa are you ok?" said John; He was trying to see from the misty dust in the air as the door behind them was blocked by ruble, but what surprise him the most was Melissa's reaction.

"Um... yeah I'm fine... could you let go?" Melissa said with a bit of embarrassed tone.

"Haaa? what do you- uhh....." as the dust gradually disperse making it clear to see. What he saw made him quiver while still having a confused look; he was touching the hanging breast of Melissa, her bra so soft it felt like a squishy marshmallow, her face rosey red. He let go of her big jugs.

"I-I'm so sorry I didn't mean to..." John said apologetically while stuttering in a sheepish face.

"Its fine... I know you didn't mean to..." said Melissa in an undiscerningly tone "Although it was ok" she whispered in an erogenous gist.

"Hmm? what was that?" I said confusingly.

"Nothing, lets find a way to get out of here" She said while pondering the our escape.

"Yeah like there even is one, thanks to you detonating those explosives we wouldn't be in this mess; I mean why the hell would we bring some in the first place!!" I yelled infuriatingly.

"Relax, Jake liked blowing things up, thats how he became a geologist in the first place" she said with a relax face.

"He used to be a miner and became a geologist after he quit his job, for some reason he likes explosives." she added.

"Haaa~ Jake you son of a B*tch" I said sarcastically while I saw the ghost of jake pointing the middle finger at me in triumph.

"Anyway, no point in arguing, it was rash of me to blow up a small portion of the tomb." said Melissa who is surveying the room but something caught attention.

"Hey John... better take a look at this..." She called out to John.

"What is Melissa, did you find another way out?" I went and walked next to her but instead of answering my question she grabbed my chin and turn slightly 90 degrees; my jaw went to the floor what I was seeing.

"Is that what I think it is?" John said still gaping at what he saw.

"Yes I think we found what we were looking for" Melissa replied, twinkling a smile of joy at me.
