5 Chapter 3 Emotions behind a Smile

"D-doctor?" The mysterious puppet asked, her eyes were half open.

"Did this puppet just talked?!?" Surpised by what happened, Kagura crouched on the ground and asked some questions with her face full of curiosity.

"Hey who are you? Are you a human or a puppet? And who is this person that you called doctor? I can sense life in you but it's obvious that you are a puppet with those strings attached to you." she asked. The puppet started opening her eyes and her vision was coming back to normal. The darkness was covering the faces of Hayabusa and Hanabi but she can clearly see Kagura's face clearly due to her glowing umbrella. She began to get out from the time capsule, Kagura gave her a hand and smiled.

"T-thank you, umm, can you tell me your name, umbrella girl?" she let out those words softly like an innocent girl.

"Omg!" Kagura admired her cuteness and when she heard her voice, she accidentally showed her excitement. She is an angel! She thought."Im Kagura, nice to meet ya!" there was a huge smile on her face when she handed her hand to the puppet.

"I-im Angela, Im a puppet" she was a bit shy when she handed over her hand to her. "Nice to meet you too."

"Wow, so you are really a puppet?!? How come you can talk and act just like us? You can hear her amazement through her voice.

"W-well, umm" she looked away from Kagura and she started to become nervous.

"Well, what about what?" she asked.

"Dont force her Kagura" Hayabusa stopped her. "Maybe her mind's all fuzzy."

She was startled by a voice behind her. "Who said that?!?" She looked behind her and saw Hayabusa and Hanabi, their eyes have met hers and looks like they're pretty mad. Oops forgot about both of you, her inner voice said as she let out a smug face. Hanabi, annoyed by Kagura's stupid looking face, crouched beside her and slammed her sidewards using her body. The impact made her lose her balance making her fall to the ground.

"Hanabi you meanie!" she let out a cry and pouched her face as she stood up and hugged Hayabusa. "Did you just saw what she did to me Hayabusa?" she made a cute sad face as she looked at him. So cute! Hayabusa thought."Don't be mean to her Hanabi" Blood started to drip from his nose. "Umm are you ok? It made Kagura worried as she watched the blood dripping. He replied with a nod.

Kagura's teasing made Hanabi more annoyed but she put her focus more on Angela." Don't force yourself too much Angela, Im sure you're just confused by all of these events happening too fast, how about coming with us back to our village? It's quite dangerous here in the forest especially during midnight." She let out a bright smile for Angela to feel comfortable. Angela looked at her and smiled back, she agreed to come with as she thinks they aren't bad people. They started walking back for a few minutes until they've reached the village. They offered her to stay at the village inn for her to sleep but since Kagura wants to be with her, she let her stay at her house. Tired from the events happened, they called it a day and started walking to their own directions.

The next morning they gathered in the forest right from where they found the time capsule. They started discussing on what happened yesterday and who she really was..

"So, yesterday when we found you, you said something, it was "doctor" I think. " Kagura said with uncertainty.

"Yeah she said it, I heard it" Hanabi said, confirming that what she said was true.

"I-I said that? Hmm "doctor"? She repeated the word doctor until she recalled something. Her eyes widened and tears were falling on her face. "Doctor Gogh!" She let out a cry as she started to remember what happened. "Let's save Doctor Gogh! He's in danger!! Begging for them to help her. With those teary eyes and desperation only someone heartless can refuse her request. Interested to help they asked for more information about what happened to this Doctor Gogh. They gave her a handkerchief and helped her calm her emotions until she was ready to talk.

"He was a great scientist that had many inventions, and I was his best. Unfortunately the other scientists envied his work and made bad rumors about him. One night he heard two fellow scientists talking to each other in the lab, he heard that they will do anything to destroy me, his greatest invention. Worried about me, he started to thinking on what to do until the thought of using a time capsule came into his mind. He started working on it overnight until he fell asleep. He was having a peaceful sleep until he heard a scream, it was mine. The other scientists abducted me from his room, they noticed him when he overheard their conversation. He immediately ran to them and grabbed me from their hands. He ran away from them and put me in the time capsule. I still remember what he said to me, "Find happiness Angela, be true to yourself and always remember to smile!". And then the flight capsule closed and I immediately felt that I was flying. The last thing I saw was him getting captured by his other inventions. I need to find him, I know he's in danger!" With this information, the mystery behind the story of Angela has been finally revealed.
