13 Chapter 11 First Holder VI - Feast for the Victorious, Mourn for the Failure

Suddenly loud thumps can be heard from all directions, the house seems to shake even though there wasn't any earthquakes. A flying pale woman broke the window and came inside, the temperature immediately felt cold, it had a menacing look on her face. Kirumi screamed and panicked putting off her hands on the door, then it broke and countless different creatures came inside. Haru and Kirumi were on the ground due to the impact, he saw that all of them seems to have the same thing in mind, the umbrella. All of their eyes were glued on the umbrella then they stood still in their places, there was silence in the house, it continued for a while until Haru shouted.

"Aki! It looks like they are attracted to the umbrella!! Use it against them!!" he shouted.

Aki then picked the umbrella up from his bag and held it firm, the mysterious creatures made their move and quickly dashed to her. She closed her eyes then said something in her mind. Lend me your strength and power as this is the only way to save everybody. A sudden wave of light blinded everyone in the house. Haru started to notice that the light was slowly fading and there he saw Aki and the umbrella became one with each other, a link between them was formed then rain of petals was falling to the ground. Aki's hair became white and her clothing suddenly turned into a white robe with black sakura flowers on it. He was amazed by what he saw, she now looks like an elegant maiden from above. She opened her eyes and made a fierce look to the monsters. Long blades suddenly came out from each tip of the umbrella. A sudden wind quickly rushed into the house, haru covered his face and the moment he looked again, all of the monsters were falling like flowers. The umbrella spun around the cutting everything it came across to. Countless monsters continued coming inside the house but everytime each one them came near her, they fall until it stopped. All that was left was the creatures laying dead on the floor. What Haru saw next was terrifying, the bodies suddenly ghostly - looking creatures then proceeded entering inside the umbrella and when it stopped Aki had a sudden fall. Her body was shocked due to the huge amount of magic that flowed through her body. Fortunately, she was still alive and that just lost her consciousness. Kirumi on the other hand, just opened her eyes. She fell unconscious when she was hit by the impact. The house was in ruins but there were no signs of the monsters. All she saw was the unconscious Aki in Haru's arms.

Later on, it didn't took a long while for the village to hear the news. They were amazed by what happened and to the fact that magic is actually real. They decided to hold a big celebration for Aki, the hero that saved everyone. People were laughing and smiling like there was no tomorrow. Unknown to them that the day when there will be no tomorrow is near.

Eight years have passed since they had found the magic behind the umbrella. Aki had trained every day for her to see its maximum power, so she did. She mastered each ability the seimei umbrella had to offer. There was alose one interesting thing that they've learned, it was that the color of the umbrella changes on her emotions, the abilities also depend on which color the umbrella is currently in. Since then, she served to be the protector of the village, destroying every threat that she came across. Peace reigned the village for years thanks to her, as an offer of gratitude, the villagers built a statue in the middle of the village. It was Aki with her umbrella elegantly on her shoulders. The statue became the trademark of the village therefore naming it as "Fall Village".

One afternoon Haru and Aki went for a walk outside the village, they were having quite a conversation as the leaves fall upon them.

"Time really flies fast, eight years have passed since we first met and lot of things happened" Haru looked at her then smiled.

"I know right, I still remember it all as if it was just like yesterday's" her words were faint like there was a subtle sadness in it.

"You still remember that time when we met inside the forest?" he asked with a bright smile on his face.

"Haha, yeah! We ended up burning it though" she said.

"Good thing, the villagers forgave us when they learned our secret. Kirumi really can't shut her mouth tight" remembering it made him a little angry at her again.

"Hey! That was already years ago. She's different now, we're friends right now" she said though it seems like she was a bit uncertain.

"Well whatever as long as Kaito is there for her, I think things will be fine" he wanted to finish the topic about Kirumi already.

"But you know, even though I've lost so many in the past, I feel satisfied right now. Though it probably didn't if it weren't for you" he held her hand as they walked together. "That's why.. I want to be with you forever, until death seperate us apart" he knelt down in front of her then took something from his pocket, it was a ring. "Will you marry me?" his words left her in awe, she didn't even know that tears was starting to fall on her face.

"Of course Haru! Of course!" she said as he stood up then put it on her finger. He held him tight and both was crying tears of joy as their journey as one will now start from now on.

The moment they came back to the village, the people already gathered around them then started throwing flowers at them. Haru already told the villagers about his proposal to Aki and they were glad to partake in it. It was decided that the marriage will be tomorrow night. Haru took account that Aki really love looking at the night sky so he wanted their marriage to happen at night. The crowd was cheering for their great prosperity except for one. In the crowd was Kirumi and Kaito, Kirumi was giving her best regards to them until he noticed her brother crying. She knew what he was feeling that moment, the feelimgs when you know you will never going to have the one you love the most and she knew that she can't do anything about it. She kept on throwing the flowers while keeping her tears from falling from her eyes. Seeing the one you love getting hurt so bad makes her feel miserable especially when she can't do anything for him to feel happy again. Everyone had the brightest smiles while they had the sorrowful tears.
