How Images Work

In case it is difficult to for you to understand the concept of images, this is for you.

Basically, when someone is tested for their image, they must transfer their mana into the image stone. When done so, an image appears above their head. The procured image is a representation of what type of magic you have a high affinity with, or in simpler terms, which magic you are best at. Additionally, the image also shows the grade of your magic.

Here's an example. Let's say that a you are tested for your image and the image of a water droplet appears above your head. That shows that you have a Grade 1 water affinity. '

What else does it show? That you are trash. :)

How do you measure the grade?

Simple, can someone be harmed when a single drop of water hits them? NO, OF COURSE NOT.

The grade of your magic affinity is measured by power of the image. Another example would be a volcano shooting out magma. This image shows that you have a fire affinity at the 5th grade.

Another thing to know: Although some images may be relatively similar, the grades can differ.

For example, an active volcano is grade 5, but an inactive volcano is grade 3.

Why? This is because an active volcano is much more dangerous and threatening than an inactive volcano. One is causing devastation, while the other is just another mountain with a hole.

Final thing to note: Not all images' grades are based on the threat level or power level.

For example, a healing mage's image may be gauze or a potion. The gauze is at grade 1 while the potion is at grade 4. The differentiations between grades depends on the class.
