58 Season Finale

Baldur's screams of blind rage blended in with the loud groaning of the volcano. The whole peak began to shake violently, for it was ready to blow up again. Adder and Devastate began to turn and leave, not at all wanting to stay when the peak does go.

Scarface slowly began to back up away from Baldur who was desperately struggling to get out. His legs were fully inside of the lava, the sizzling of flesh was fairly loud in the heated air.

Baldur's claws left marks on the heated ground, and it was evident that he was not getting out of this one alive.

Scarface continued to watch as Baldur began to sink further and further into the lava. The tyrant continued to fight for his life, much like all individuals who didn't want to die. Baldur's left hand sunk into the ridiculously hot water of lava, his head rested on the heated ground. His callous eyes were lifeless.

He was dead.

Scarface flinched and looked up as lava began to rise up into the air, he quickly left once the volcano shook restlessly.

Going down the volcano, Scarface recalled that he was the one who pushed Baldur into the lava. In some strange way he had defeated Baldur, and avenged Crusher as well.

Scarface managed to leave the volcano, and now he was at the base of it with everyone else. Bloodmaw looked up as lava shot up into the blackened sky, fire in the shape of balls shot out in random directions.

"Let's go!", ordered Bloodmaw as he began to ran back toward camp.

Adder and Lockjaw followed close behind Bloodmaw, Devastate was running alongside Scarface with curious eyes.

"Is Baldur dead?", the behemoth asked Scarface.

Scarface merely nodded in response, as they all continued to run away from the volcano. Devastate looked at him seriously, for he believed in Scarface and his words.

Gambit ran with Belle, they were all back together again. No one died either.

Was it luck? No one knew.

The heavy rumbling was right behind them, fire and lava escaped the maw of the volcano. It's rage could not be stopped.

Scarface felt kind of happy, the fact that Baldur was dead eased him more than anything else in the world. He hoped that Crusher could rest in peace after all it was Baldur who had killed him.

Hopefully things will improve, though the volcano was causing a lot of damage to the environment. It will take years for the damages to recover from such a force of nature.

But it was okay, they could survive it.

As Bloodmaw and everyone else traveled to return to their camp, they all had to think about what to do next. With no water, they couldn't stay in the valley. If Helm and Dingo couldn't find a place either, they were going to have to stay with Dreadtooth.

Just the thought made Bloodmaw uncomfortable.

Bloodmaw slowly came to a stop as he looked back, he took a deep breath once he saw that they were all a good distance away from the volcano. He looked to everyone else, he smiled to see that they were all alive.

Scarface looked back as he thought about Baldur, just recalling the events some what haunted him. To see a living breathing thing slowly die to lava, was just horrific. He was certain that everyone would feel the same as he did if they saw such a scene.

Belle happily hugged Devastate by the nose, her petite form was shaking uncontrollably. She was scared but she prayed that she would see him again.

It would seem that she had gotten her prayers answered.

Gambit smiled a bit, he looked at Lockjaw who smirked.

"I'm glad that we are all okay.", spoke Bloodmaw who smiled.

Adder nodded with a smile, "We are also glad that you and Lockjaw are okay."

Bloodmaw laughed lightly, "I told you, I was not going to die today!"

Lockjaw smirked, his expression seemed a little at ease. "I am thankful that you were there to help."

Bloodmaw nodded at him strongly, "Of course."

Scarface was smiling though a look of faint dread came over him. He was going to return to camp with a overly angry Ruby waiting for him. She would no doubt give him a good beating, since he did kind of sneak away.

Bloodmaw looked at Scarface and he chuckled, "Are you ready to return knowing full well that Ruby may end your life?"

Scarface sort of smiled, "I am as ready as I can be."

Bloodmaw laughed as he began walking, "Let's go."

Devastate smirked at Scarface as he walked by him, upon his massive head was Belle who was extremely happy.

Adder chuckled as he looked at Scarface, "Don't be scared. That just goes to show that she cares."

Lockjaw smirked as he walked, "I suppose that is one way to put it."

Scarface couldn't help but nervously laugh, as he followed everyone else.

The night would no doubt be beautiful if it was not for the volcano and the black clouds of ash. Sawtooth stood a good distance away from the peak with narrowed eyes. Baldur was dead, he was certain of it.

Baldur was to focused on his revenge, and look where it got him.

From what he was told by Wraith, he did not move away from the volcano. He ignored the obvious. All because of his hunger for revenge.

If he had thought about ruling this land more, he wouldn't of died.

Sawtooth looked back to everyone else, they were all standing around discussing their next move. Baldur was without a doubt a power house, but he was gone. What now?

He could continue to rule this clan on his own, after all he had enough brains and strength to do it.

Sawtooth glanced back to the peak, he watched the dark clouds and fire in the distance. How captivating was it that the volcano could look so beautiful at night. Darkness was all around them, while the volcano gave off lots of light.

There was a warm glow from the fire, along with extremely bright yellow lights which came from the lava.

How could destruction look so beautiful?

Sawtooth turned around back to everyone else, he would talk with them about their next plan of action. He would keep the original plan above everything else.

To rule this land the way that he wanted. The way that this clan wanted.

"I can't believe that he wanted to kill him so bad!", hissed Razer with the right side of his face severely burned.

Juggernaut snorted, "Look where it got him."

Wraith looked to the side with her arms crossed, she was silent as they talked.

Fiend looked toward the volcano in silence, while Scarecrow looked between them as they talked.

"This doesn't change a thing. We will rule this new world with or without Baldur.", spoke Sawtooth with a twisted grin.

Hearing these words, everyone nodded. They all agreed in staying together, after all they wanted to rule the world. That was what they were focused on.

That was the goal.

Dreams were something that everyone had, that was what motivated many forward. This dream seemed a little far fetched, but it was a dream without a doubt. To have something to fight for, was better than giving up and dying.

Sawtooth had this dream to rule the new world, many were waking up because change was definitely happening. Very soon the blind won't be a problem anymore.

How crazy would that be? To not have to worry about the blind beasts that stalked through the many forests.

Sawtooth felt like he could accomplish this mission, he was sure of it.

Sawtooth led his clan away, what he needed to do was increase the clan size. They needed to train as well and recover. Once they do, they will return stronger than ever.

This world had a lot of things happening, and with it was there changes. It was undetermined if these changes were good or bad but everyone could perceive these things differently.

No one was alike in thought or personality. They also had different experiences in life.

It was not clear if everyone will live or die. Thinking about it, it was quite terrifying.

What was more terrifying, luck had a way of running out.

It was late in the night, morning was not to far away. Bloodmaw was able to return with everyone else, and it looked like the clan was still strong despite all that has happened. Helm and Dingo had returned, they had shared their findings when Bloodmaw returned.

Luck was not on their side, for Helm and Dingo had trouble finding land with safe drinkable water. However, Dreadtooth came up to them and decided to help them find a place. He found a good place for them, it was even near Dreadtooth's clan. Helm and Dingo told Bloodmaw that they could have this land with added protection from Dreadtooth's clan. All that Dreadtooth wanted in return however was that Jr was going to have to stay in Dreadtooth's clan.

This news was something that made Bloodmaw frown. Jr would have to stay in Dreadtooth's clan, and the tension between him and his two sons will be worse. He had no choice, if he decided against it then his clan would suffer.

He would have to agree to this, after all they could not live long with no water. The decision was made, and Bloodmaw's clan began to move out. They moved into this land, and Dreadtooth even agreed to help them move.

As dawn approached, the clan had successfully moved into their new home. The land was large, and they had a large body of water with many streams attached to it.

Bloodmaw looked at Jr who was talking to Swiftscale, it was evident what he was doing. He was saying goodbye to the baryoynx.

Dreadtooth smirked as he watched Jr, for he was waiting for him.

Bloodmaw approached his son with a heavy heart, "I'm proud of you son."

Swiftscale looked at Bloodmaw with a frown, the reality that Jr was leaving him really begun to sink in.

Jr looked at his father with different eyes, he nodded of course. "I will make Fiala happy."

Bloodmaw nodded as he watched Jr turn away from him, his son was walking away from him. He was walking on a road, his own road into adulthood.

Dreadtooth smirked as he walked toward his clan, Jr was not to far behind him.

Bloodmaw looked toward Lesion, he looked down when he noticed that Lesion showed no interest in his brothers departure. He didn't even say goodbye to him either.

To see your own flesh and blood turned against each other, it was just heartbreaking. Bloodmaw had wished he had never agreed to that pact. So many times he made up his mind to go against it.

Jr was going to a different clan, and he would no doubt be treated differently. He would be treated not as a person but as some kind of item. Why? Because, that was how Dreadtooth saw things.

The brute saw everyone as expendable.

What will happen at this wedding?

Bloodmaw didn't know, but he was worried about it. Marrying your children off like some kind of items, it just brought a sickening feeling into Bloodmaw's stomach.

When the wedding happens, he was going to watch it like a hawk. He was also going to watch his son closely during the ceremony. Bloodmaw had a feeling that something bad was going to happen after the wedding.

If his instincts were right, he was not going to sit around anymore. He was going to voice his dislike about the whole thing. He just hoped that Jr and Lesion could forgive him someday.

Bloodmaw looked in the direction of the trees where Jr disappeared into.

Swiftscale looked in the same location with a downhearted expression. "Can't believe he is gone."

Bloodmaw frowned upon hearing those words. "He will do good. I believe in him."

Swiftscale looked up at him as he nodded, "Me too."

Bloodmaw looked at Swiftscale with a smile, "You raised him very good. You should feel proud."

Swiftscale smiled at his words, he had a look of pride. "I do feel proud."

Bloodmaw kept his smile as he turned around, "Let's get to work, that wedding will be here before you know it."

Swiftscale nodded as he followed after his leader.

The clan of Bloodmaw was all working together to make this new place into their home. As the sun rests high in the sky, and with it the first change.

Their journey has only begun.
