5 A TIME AGO...

On this particular night by the mountain side trickled a small stream, as a large, majestic buck stood drinking from it. Its large antlers skimmed across the water. A great protector for its mob of deer.

Its build towered above the rest, as its brown fur and tail matted in places but still shined like the morning dew. Resting on its head was a long and thick ivory antler, branching out like hands reaching for something.

Coming to fourteen different pointed tips.

But suddenly without expectation the peaceful scene was interrupted as a sharp rustle of the leaves and like thunder, the buck was nowhere to be seen from its spot.

The mob of deer descended into chaos, as they ran in all directions. revealing the strong buck now in a heap on the ground not far from the group. A large man standing over it. His golden eyes shone under the cover of the clouds. Then he was off again with the thrill of the chase.

Not far away from the incident, three individual entity's all of different shapes and sizes stood waiting for the moment to strike. Not for long they heard the rustling of bushes, and the snapes of small tree limbs. As the small mob of deer came through. the individuals got into action, moving at speeds not humanly possible attacking the deer without care.

Another two attackers were a tall and skinny male silhouette, moving swiftly and precisely. And a medium female silhouette taking down a deer with the lightest touch of elegance. as soon as the deer came into the clearing. The last one, a small woman-like silhouette, waited for the right moment as if playing with the animal. She was not as grateful as the or precise as the others, as she looked as if this was something almost new and still was trying to get the hang of it.

She chased the deer all the way until it crossed a long road stretched for miles. Under the shine of the streetlight the woman was now seen.

Her long curly light and dark brown hair flowed within the wind with unnatural grace. As the pupils of her eyes were as black as the void in space. As the dress flowed across her body as breathable and free.

She stopped abruptly, sniffing the air in every different direction until she found it. like a feral animal or a bloodhound trying to find its target.

The sweet intoxicating scent perforated the woman's nose, as she has never smelled something like this before. Assaulted her nose and made her relinquish the prey she tried to catch.

The smell made her whole-body drool with excitement. As if it was a cake created just for her. A dessert she can relish for a time.

Her throat became dry, as pain and heat started to warm her throat making the feeling unbearable. She sprinted down the road following the scent until she had it.

Trying to find the scent. She couldn't stop as a slight frenzy started to take over her mind, making her almost go into a berserker state. But she relented.

"A human" she mouthed to herself, finding a person aways from her, in the same direction the scent came from.

From two miles away she could see a young man sitting at the broken-down bus stop. Regardless of the fog she could see him perfectly, as he was wearing a hoodie that covered his face, but that didn't stop her from seeing his face with perfect vision. As he also wore a shirt and joggers as well.

Not pay attention to anything but the phone in his hand. He was a tall handsome individual. With light hazel eyes, shaved sides but thick curly hair on top.

Realizing what she might do. She forces herself to stop. But another whiff of the human's scene, causing her to shake while slowly walking to the young man.

She came towards him like an unconscious undead, trying to resist the urge to attack. Trying with all her soul but couldn't.

As the young man finally notices her, and gets up looking in her direction, calling to her.

"Hey, is everything ok, you need help or something." he says, as she could smell fear with his tone.

She could feel the final snap as she wanted to lung and end the young man's life, to taste the sweet scent of his blood. Knowing full well if she does, she will forever burn in hell, as this will be her end.

But that didn't matter to her anymore, she just wanted a quick taste. As crouched down, getting ready to attack.

The young man, now alert, started to run, and she gave chase. But was soon caught by arm around her waist dragging her into the night, her attempt failed, her prey gone, and she, away from the young man she could have had. She had all different kinds of emotions, anger, sadness, thirst, and hunger. But the biggest one was relief.
